We got our peach and blueberry kolaches still warm from the oven and they were delicious! The cherry on top is that this is a family run restaurant driven by a mother/daughter combo. “Had no idea this place was here until I was it on google maps one day. The beer is ice cold and they have draft beer in CHILLED glasses. Nice little spot where they don’t charge you to play pool or play the juke box. Definitely stop by and say hi.It’s filled with locals so everyone knows everyone. We enjoyed it.”

“Authentic Mexican food with homemade tortillas, and a colorful patio with Mexican pottery. I tried the menudo (awesome spiced broth and the tripe was skinned just like my mom makes), barbacoa and gorditas. You could tell everything was made from scratch and with lots of love.”

“Went on SAT. Live music and a great selection of beer. They had a handful of wine options for those who prefer it. They only had one bartender serving both the outside window and inside so there were good long lines waiting at both for beverages. I have a feeling it wasn't the norm and the bartender was moving as fast as possible with a smile on his face. Will try them again.”

“Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!”

“I have been coming here for over a year now and they have the best carnitas and fajitas in town. The environment is very welcoming, and everyone is very pleasant. I have had Sean, Mario, Tonya, Vanessa, and Evelyn as my servers and they always make you smile and laugh. They know the menu and can recommend some good dishes. They also make sure you get refills and that your food is out in good time. It’s also refreshing to be at a place and have the managers walk around and check in and see how you’re doing. Nicole and Carlos do an excellent job of making you feel like your family when you eat there. The few times I sat at the bar the bartenders do a great job with the drinks. Josh and Anna know how to make a good margarita. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family!!”

“What an incredibly delicious offering of sweets, cookies and mixes. Our daughter loves the farm and petting zoo, but the real reason we drive 45 minutes to this place so often is the sweet snack paradise of its bakery and edible dough.”

“Had lunch here Friday as part of a group of 11. We called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. I don't know our server's name, but she was fantastic and the service was very quick. The fried pickles were great -- nice and crispy with just a little kick to them. I had the fried fish plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. Thin pieces of fish breaded with crispy cornmeal. Just like the fish I grew up eating in South Mississippi. Delicious! I loved the green beans as well. They were southern style with some pieces of tomato in them. I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place and never even noticed it. Would definitely return, especially on a Friday when they are serving fish!”

“Elegant, cozy and dedecant. I had the goat cheese and soft preztles and washed it down with hisbsicus rose tea. Later I had a cocktail that tasted like something out of a fairytale. The music was relaxing and the overall vibe made it hard to leave. The furniture was comfortable too. The owners are interesting and intelligent people. I learned new things while speaking to them. Overall, this is place was amazing. There was something to relax the heart, mind and soul here.Honestly, this is the first place to look for me if you cant find me.Vegetarian options: Nearly every thing was vegatarian or could be made vegatarianKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. The breakfast tacos are authentic and soo amazing!!!I mean real by-Gawd chorizo,,, the carne guisada was fire,,,, the lemonade is with real lemons. A little family run taqueria and it shows !!! “I brought 19 friends and Mr. Gattis in Taylor was awesome at accomodating us! They kept the pizza bar full with plenty of spaghetti and salad options. There was lots of seating in multiple rooms with plenty of TVs. I sat in an "adult" room where different news shows were on while the kids sat in a movie room. Bathrooms were clean. Great experience!Parking: Great parking lot and some side street parking.”

“I finally got around to visiting this Starbucks as I was in the area and they were absolutely spot on. The service was fantastic, my barista was super nice, friendly and conversational and my drink was perfect.
