“What an incredible place to stumble on to. I was exploring Jefferson and turned down the street near the bistro, and I was met with the most incredible smell! Their bread and everything else I ate was INCREDIBLE! The service was wonderful. I truly feel blessed for finding them.”

The breakfast was fantastic, and don't even get me started on the delectable bisquits!! YUM! The rooms are just exquisite with an old fashioned tub for bubble baths! “Incredible BBQ! If this place were in DFW, there’d be a line before they open and they’d be sold out before noon. We ordered their brisket, cheddar jalapeño sausage, pork chop, street corn, pintos beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese bites and banana pudding and everything was amazing. The street corn and Mac bites are out of this world especially. Classic Texan brisket. This place just needs a visit from tx monthly to take off! As someone who has done numerous bbq tours of tx, this place would be a repeat along with Snows and Franklins. Great service and highly recommend!”

“We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. First, let me say, the service here is second to none. They weren't busy, but we were seated and had our beverages on the table in less than 2 minutes from the friendliest server you could ask for. Everyone was super nice.We both opted for shrimp and catfish plates. The fish was about as good as I've had anywhere. The shrimp were good, too. The condiments and sides were delicious, as was the complimentary "bean" bar.The meal was not inexpensive, but we both said we will come back here next time we visit Jefferson. This place gets two thumbs up from me!”

“Such a neat atmosphere - think medieval decor and tapestries. Pretty extensive menu too and large portions. We started with the tater kegs and chicken & sausage gumbo - the gumbo was some of the best I've ever had. Then I dived into the St. Patty's Burger with Swiss cheese, bacon and sauerkraut. Fantastic and so different from your average burger! My boys loved the buffalo chicken sandwich and lemon-pepper chicken w/ mashed potatoes. Great service - our waitress was very personal and had great suggestions. Definitely worth the trip!”

“Always get my minnows for lake of the pines here and they have a small restaurant connected with pretty good food. The ladies are always friendly and put a smile on sons face when they told him if he catches a fish to take a picture and they would put it on the wall with many ”
