Just did not meet expectations based on other reviews.....and actually was spot on the one semi-negative review I read. Fish was tough, rubbery and actually not that flavorful. Beans were good. Cole slaw sweet. Fries are frozen. Not bad. Just not what I was hoping for based on where I was heading. Wanted it to be better. Wishing it was. Folks were super friendly. Mama was just having an off day....maybe.
The food is amazing! Her smothered pork chops are to die for. This little shack in the small town of Jefferson Texas is it! From daily specials like chicken fried steak or chicken spegetti to maybe you just are in the mood for a good greasy homemade burger Lil Mama's is the place to eat!

What a great selection of foods this restaurant/takeaway boasts. All meals are freshly baked on the premises, and the restaurant is so tastefully decorated. Great ambience. Toddler-friendly, to boot. Already looking forward to sampling the menu again soon :-)
