“Fantastic atmosphere. Delightful staff.Delectable menu. Celiac friendly when asked. I ordered their spinach & artichoke dip with sourdough instead of the deep-fried bowtie pasta. For an entree I had the 1852 Salad and added grilled shrimp. ?? ?“
“Such a neat atmosphere - think medieval decor and tapestries. Pretty extensive menu too and large portions. We started with the tater kegs and chicken & sausage gumbo - the gumbo was some of the best I've ever had. Then I dived into the St. Patty's Burger with Swiss cheese, bacon and sauerkraut. Fantastic and so different from your average burger! My boys loved the buffalo chicken sandwich and lemon-pepper chicken w/ mashed potatoes. Great service - our waitress was very personal and had great suggestions. Definitely worth the trip!“
“We are from out of town so we called to make sure they were open. They did not answer but it was the closest option so we headed out anyway. They are open 5 am to noon every day of the week. They have about 20 donuts to choose from and some breakfast croissants with ham, bacon, egg and such. We got a good selection of what they had to offer and we were not disappointed.“
“Our new go-to restaurant in Jefferson. Food and staff are amazing. Entertainment is amazing. We stayed for hours the first night in Jefferson. We came back the following day and were greeted by the staff and the lady singing as soon as we walked in. Brunch and dinner - every dish and drink we tried were so good. Favorite spot, for sure.“
“What a great selection of foods this restaurant/takeaway boasts. All meals are freshly baked on the premises, and the restaurant is so tastefully decorated. Great ambience. Toddler-friendly, to boot. Already looking forward to sampling the menu again soon :-)“
“Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. We dined in The Well Room. It was a very cool experience being seated at a glass top table that overlooks a deep well in a private room. The service was friendly, professional, attentive, and amazing. The dinner and desserts were delicious. I highly recommend the Filet Mignon, the spinach salad, the white chocolate blueberry cheesecake and the fried cheesecake. But now to the best part… the cocktails! The beer, wine and cocktail menu is extensive and impressive. We enjoyed the Lynchburg Lemonade, Joe’s Last Stand, and the Ruby Red Martini. The bar is beautiful and very unique. The entire restaurant is thoughtfully designed and decorated. If you’re planning a trip to visit this historic little town, take time to eat at Haywood House. You won’t be disappointed.“
“The food is good but I think everyone who comes here would agree that sometimes nostalgia and tradition are just as important. The live music is usually pretty good and if you ride a bike to Jefferson, it's just a stop you have to make.“
“Great breakfast. Hashbrown casserole with sausage and bacon was lit! Covered in gravy which was So yummy. Had The pecan pancakes. They were fluffy with large chunks of pecans not pieces. only thing, the grits were thin but a good portion.“
“What an incredible place to stumble on to. I was exploring Jefferson and turned down the street near the bistro, and I was met with the most incredible smell! Their bread and everything else I ate was INCREDIBLE! The service was wonderful. I truly feel blessed for finding them.“
