“Boy, where do we begin? With the Armadillo Eggs? The Steak skewers? The atmosphere? All of the above. First off, ask for Gary, he is by far, one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The food selection, ask Gary. His knowledge and passion for this place is perfect.Now, onto the food. Start with the Armadillo Eggs. Absolutely won't disappoint. On a spicy scale, 10 being hot, these fall into a 5 or 6. Not too bad. Flavor? Unbelievable. With or without ranch, or even BBQ sauce, these are hands down one of the most unique food pieces we have ever tried. The next was the Tom's Campfire Skewers. They bring a mini hibachi grill, lit table side, and you finish grilling 3 pieces of hand cut, marinated steak that has been flashed to rare, and you can cook it how much more you want (our experience, about 1 more minute each side to almost medium, just north of medium rare). Steak, 9.5 out of 10.The next, we decided to do the 3 meat platter, with a signature potato salad and fried okra for sides. We selected the brisket, turkey and ribs. All, very good. A 8 out of 10 on all 3. Very tender, flavor filled, and moist.Potato salad, and this is hard, was 9.5 out of 10. Everyone's preference will differ, but this is a southern style, with onions and celery, perfect texture l, slightly sweet. Just right.The BBQ sauce? Slap your mamma good. “Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!“
“I don't think I can say enough good things. I grew up in the area and just came to visit family for a weekend. Everyone was raving about this place so we went to get a ton for everyone. Ribs... great, sausage... great, brisket... while I personally wish it had more fat on it, it was still great. Ham (I had to steal a piece of my meme's)... great. Got all of the sides I'm pretty sure and bbq sauce on the side. Everything was so good. Just getting out of the truck to walk up to this place you get a huge waft of deliciousness. One and only suggestion... serve your family platters with romaine lettuce in scoop/cup size chopped portions. Why you may ask? Because I did it with the left overs and tucked a little of everything into the lettuce and it was absolutely to die for. I wish I had pics but it all went faster than I could think to take any. *This is not calorie free but you deserve it*“
“This was fun experience and the food was amazing! Portions were good for minimal waste and there were lots of sauce options for cooking. We opted to get the Hot Pot and the BBQ, but you can certainly pick one or the other. We will definitely be going back! Also our waitress Sam was very attentive we enjoyed her service!“
“Today, Flossie’s BBQ gained 2 loyal customers. My boyfriend and I crave bbq 5 days a week. Typically, we’ll grill a slab a ribs, some sausage, throw on a good movie and enjoy the day. Unfortunately, the weather was too gloomy for anything other than take out and chill. We stumbled across Flossie’s googling the closest restaurants in an attempt to get a craving for something. Being self proclaimed pit masters lol we had little to no hesitation choosing this bbq place we had shockingly never seen before (despite the 5min distance)From the small mom & pop shop ambience, to the hand crafted menu… the aroma alone.. we knew this was gonna be good.Our plates were served full enough we had lunch, dinner, & a snack leftover.We met the chef, who came out the kitchen with an apron and a huge smile. “It was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it was awesome! It’s $30.95 per person for dinner and it all you can eat. Tables can’t be occupied for longer than 2 hours. There’s a ton of different options to choose from and while we had our favorites, everything we had was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.“

“First, I've never been offered a sample of the BBQ upon entry, ever, before coming here. I don't know if the person serving us was the owner, but definitely had an owner mentality. The brisket is really good, and the sausage is pretty good as well. There was a problem with the fountain drinks, but they had cans out and readily available for what wasn't working. The dining room was just so so.“
“First time here wont be the last.I am freaked out about meat glue and lab grown meat and the man behind the counter assured me they dont play that nonsense there.We got 3lbs ground for a steal, sausage that was THE BEST we have ever had, and the most delicious boudin we have had in a long time!! Even though there are tons of cool decor around it all seemed to be dust free. I cant tell you as a new meat eater how happy I am to have found this spot! The only complaint I have i have Is with the lady at the front counter. First of all, she does not look happy to be there or happy to be serving anybody she talks to you in such a manner that it borderline rude or she’s annoyed that you are there. “I enjoy eating here. My sister was in the hospital so my brother and I stopped to eat here on our way home. Neither of us had eaten the whole day and it was nearly 9 pm.The waitress was so sweet. Very respectful in true southern style with Yes ma'am 's and sirs. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items. This is the first time, in three years, I've enjoyed the kindness of our waitress. The food was excellent as well. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. The salad was fresh, crispy and delicious. I'm not much for rolls either but this night their rolls were warm, soft, and delicious. I did ask for regular butter. I don't care for cinnamon butter. They were happy to substitute. The unsweet tea was perfect too. I truly enjoyed my meal. The ambiance rating was based on me being tired and I just didn't care for all the noise. They couldn't help that so the rating shouldn't reflect badly on them.I hope this review helps. They do have handicap parking and restrooms, also they're fine with you taking home leftovers.This was also the first time in four years of visiting that my table was clean and we didn't have to ask for them to clean it better.They do have high chairs and alcohol is served here.“
“I always love Texas Roadhouse! What brings me back here is not just the food quality but also the cost/portion and the calories listed on the menu.... Makes it super easy to stick to Keto and CICO diets. Personally, i prefer the sirloin cause they remove all the fat , making it super lean. The herb crusted chicken is great too. “I got the pulled pork sammich ;) with Cole slaw on top.. it was literally the best I've ever had! **and I've tried at least 15 different places all over the south in my life so far at 42.. it was so big I had to seriously study it figure out how to fit it in my mouth. I would give 10 stars for the food if I could! Eating area is like a standard BBQ/diner place,with some cute quirks.. they have a bench made out of long horns, was super neat. Price was definitely fair, that sammich ended up being my lunch and dinner. Will 100% go back again! Next time I'm bringing the hubby and my kiddo with me for sure!“
