“Went with a group of friends that recommended this place and now I see why. For appetizers we got wings and the boudin ? I personality got the pit boss burger it was so good! At our table we had a mixture of plates. Chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, catfish, and brisket. Everything was so delicious, to end our feast we got a cheesecake, Mississippi Mudslide, and All American Apple Pie Jar ?“
“I don't think I can say enough good things. I grew up in the area and just came to visit family for a weekend. Everyone was raving about this place so we went to get a ton for everyone. Ribs... great, sausage... great, brisket... while I personally wish it had more fat on it, it was still great. Ham (I had to steal a piece of my meme's)... great. Got all of the sides I'm pretty sure and bbq sauce on the side. Everything was so good. Just getting out of the truck to walk up to this place you get a huge waft of deliciousness. One and only suggestion... serve your family platters with romaine lettuce in scoop/cup size chopped portions. Why you may ask? Because I did it with the left overs and tucked a little of everything into the lettuce and it was absolutely to die for. I wish I had pics but it all went faster than I could think to take any. *This is not calorie free but you deserve it*“
“I stumbled upon this hidden gem, I got ribs and brisket. Both were delicious, brisket was seasoned perfect, had a beautiful smoke ring and was very juicy and tender. Ribs were also really good, in my opinion they were perfect. The sauce I got with my order was fantastic. If you got a craving for bbq then stop by this place, you won't regret it.“
“This was fun experience and the food was amazing! Portions were good for minimal waste and there were lots of sauce options for cooking. We opted to get the Hot Pot and the BBQ, but you can certainly pick one or the other. We will definitely be going back! Also our waitress Sam was very attentive we enjoyed her service!“
“It was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it was awesome! It’s $30.95 per person for dinner and it all you can eat. Tables can’t be occupied for longer than 2 hours. There’s a ton of different options to choose from and while we had our favorites, everything we had was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Stopped in from League City to grab lunch. 2 meat tray with 2 sides offered a ton of food for 2 to share. Sliced brisket was moist and well smoked. Well balanced bbq sauce is very tasty and just the right amount of vinegar and pepper. Mac n cheese was creamy and bbq beans were tasty! Homemade pickles were tart and crunchy. Abita root beer on tap was a nice surprise. Tasted my daughter's grilled cheese and the sharp cheddar made it a top notch grilled cheese. Kids meal is large and comes with either Mac n cheese or chips. Friendly service and atmosphere and definitely will return for more awesome food. Next trip I plan to try the Kat's Mac bowl.“
“We were so excited when this location was announced- it has a beautiful covered outside seating area with big ceiling fans to keep the air moving in the heat and is decorated with big tvs to watch your fav games . They also have chalk / big jenga and other activities to keep the kiddos entertained. My family and I have become regular's here - they often host events( trunk or treat's ) and competitions ( ugly sweater ) . I was skeptical of the quality of food they would have to offer when their kitchen opened but lemme tell you .. their fries are the BEST cooked in bone marrow and full of flavor perfect with a nice cold beer from the tap . Their krispy boi Pilsner is one of my personal favs - nice and light for the heat we experience. I really hope the community supports this business as it's a great addition to the Friendswood / Pearland area .“
“I’ve been going to this place all year and I gotta say, it’s my favorite place to go out to eat with the family. Potato’s are loaded, their bbq sause is delicious, and the puddings are to die for. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for some good bbq“
“Central Texas BBQ is the kind of dining establishment you can only find in Texas. Smiling staff are helpful and friendly. Meats are deliciously slow smoked, and portions are generous. Great stop across from Hobby Airport, especially now that Pappas BBQ is no longer at Hobby.“
“Wish I would’ve found this place sooner love, the decor very nice homely place friendly people very clean and welcoming. Highly recommended to anyone and their friends and family bring them all. The barbecue is to die for. Love all the signs all the unique antiques to go with it just feels like home.“
“This place was soooooo gooood! The place was clean and I was greeted right when I walked in the door. Open wide space for dine in customers. I like the fact that you can look right into the kitchen as your order is being prepared. This is definitely a must have! The ribs are exactly like this pictures on the website. So tender so much flavor and the sauce ??. I would definitely recommend this place & will definitely come here again the next time I’m in Texas.“
“Got 2 lbs of sliced beef brisket and a few ribs. I'd give the brisket an 8 out of 10 and the ribs a 6.5 out of 10. Everything was great but you're definitely not going to save any money by going to this food truck... It was pricy in my opinion. I'd visit again in a pinch for the brisket?“
“We had the baleada especial, the pupusa de queso, and some plantains. Mom has the traditional breakfast. It was all delicious! Mom was a huge fan of their flour tortillas. Service can be a little slow, so don’t go here if you are already getting hangry.Vegetarian options: If you ask for certain changes to the menu, they usually make them for you.“
“My friend Ricky Pitts and I have been long standing customers for over 10 plus years. I recently had a take out order that was way off. I just happened to mention it and low and behold when I went in today with 2 take out orders it was given free. Above and beyond service and totally surprised and appreciative. Keep up the good work Dave's.Parking: Easy parking for to go“
“4/23/24 Update:We had a dinner reservation for a Tuesday evening...so no long lines or running out of food. Yay! Our table was ready when we arrived. The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive. The food is still just as delicious as ever. We ordered the family platter and it comfortably fed 4 adults. For the platter we got the moist brisket, pork ribs, sausage, roasted brussel sprouts, green beans, and potato salad. It was soooo good!!! Also got some bread pudding and pecan pie for dessert. Needed a serious nap after all that yummy food! I still highly recommend this restaurant.??My favorite BBQ place of all time! The beef ribs are ridonculous..they are massive dinosaur sized and the flavor is out of this world. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth. They now serve fried chicken, which I was kind of sceptical about at first. Like, how can fried chicken compare to brisket, ribs, and pork belly?! But oh my, you really have to try it. It's soaked in a lemon brine before frying. It's crazy good, like slap yo mama good!! We went today, which is Superbowl game day. I can't tell you how many people took huge orders of fried chicken to go! Anyways, you definitely have to check this place out!Parking: Lots of free parking all around the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, with a ramp.“
“I've been to this establishment at least four times & have enjoyed it tremendously. My only issue was that my first two visits, I was allowed to buy to-go margaritas for one, but on my 3rd visit, I was told that wasn't allowed & I would have to buy a half gallon or gallon. When I called on a later date I was told I could buy the 20 ounce. I explained that I was told no, someone checked & found out they just hadn't gotten any stickers to cover the hole.“
“This is one of the better barbecues in the southern Houston to Galveston area. I had half pound of brisket and a half pound of jalapeno sausage and both were terrific. It is the best brisket I have tried on this side of Texas. The barbecue sauce is a little mild for my liking but is tangy and good, I added jalapenos to my order from the bar and it was fine.Thry keep two BBQ sauces in kettles at the condiment bar, which is nice. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, even the manager went around and asked how people's food was and if there was anything else we needed or that he could get us. The environment is country western and has comfortable seating. Definitely a five-star restaurant I would recommend this to anybody.Dietary restrictions: Keto, carnivore, lion.“
“Great Food with a Side of Confusion at the Host StandThis evening, Texas Roadhouse provided a mixed bag of experiences. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the 23 Oz bone-in tomahawk ribeye steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare. The double serving of green beans was also superbly prepared and left me wanting more. All family members thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which was a big plus. However, the service experience had its ups and downs. After receiving a text that we were next to be seated, there was some confusion at the host stand. Initially directed to a waiting area, we stood there for ten minutes until another message prompted us to check in again. This time, the interaction with a different hostess was less than helpful, and there seemed to be a lack of communication among the staff, which led to some unnecessary frustration. The first hostess seemed more interested in putting lip gloss on and looking good than helping guests.Despite the rocky start, our waitress was exceptional—attentive, efficient, and always ensuring our needs were met, from keeping our drinks topped up to accommodating all our requests. She certainly salvaged our evening with her stellar service. In conclusion, while the hosting staff could improve their coordination and communication, the excellent food and our waitress's efforts made our visit to Texas Roadhouse worthwhile. We left satisfied with our meal, hoping that the initial service hiccup was just an off day at the host stand.Dietary restrictions: Carnivore, keto, diabetic, and vegetarian.“
