“Great ice cream. Brought back memories of when I was a kid and we would go with my dad. They're a little more expensive then I remember and that lost them a star. I really don't know how they would stay in business if they weren't charging a pretty penny but I felt like they were a little over the top. Place was very clean. It was baseline busy, not packed, but I'd assume it might get that way on the weekends. My kids loved it. I'd go back. Too bad there's not one in Baytown.“

“We visited The Baked Bear for the first time this weekend, and loved it! The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the shop itself is decorated very cutely. I tried an ice cream sandwich with both a cookie monster and Nutella cookie, with cookie dough ice cream in the middle. It was absolutely delicious! The cookies and ice creams are all made in-house, and they had several choices that all looked amazing. We will definitely be back, and I would recommend The Baked Bear to anyone in the area looking for a good dessert!“
“Came here after dinner at Hyde (owners of Nobi, the Gelato, and Hyde all the same). Walked right in from the inside of Hyde. I loved their spin on Asian flavored gelato instead of typical Italian. Just look at the flavors! Service - was great. It ebbs and flows with a lot of customers, or none at all. When we dropped in, after dinner, we were alone. Friendly lady at the counter let us try a lot of flavors (thank you, kind lady!). I tried the Ube (not too sweet) , chocolate (very rich) , and Happy Accident (very peanut buttery). I settled on the Black Sesame, very savory. We sat and enjoyed our small cups, which was just enough for after dinner, on their couches, that they have. Overall, solid!“
“The La Porte Dairy Queen is a staple in this community! I remember going there as a child and sitting outside enjoying an ice cream cone with my parents after school performances, or getting a late night snack after the Bulldogs played in the stadium behind DQ. I even had my first job under Ms. Pat when I was a teenager. Great food, great atmosphere and a great place to catch up on old memories!
