“In my personal experience, it has been quite some time since I have indulged in a Greek gyro. Today, I made the decision to visit Gyro Guys in La Porte. To succinctly summarize my experience, I would use the term "exceptional." I had been eagerly anticipating a gyro and am pleased to report that this was an unexpected delight. The superior quality, texture, and distinctive flavor of the succulent lamb/chicken platter, complemented by tzatziki sauce, vegetables, and a side of pita bread, were truly remarkable.I would like to express my gratitude to Carliee (with two "E's") for her recommendation of the medium platter, which proved to be the optimal choice. The gyro cheese fries were delightfully crispy and delicious. While the restaurant was clean, the ambiance appeared somewhat outdated. A renovation of the interior and some minor aesthetic adjustments to the decor would be beneficial.In conclusion, I strongly recommend Gyro Guys in La Porte to anyone seeking a novel culinary experience. Your taste buds will undoubtedly express their appreciation.“

“The interior is very well done. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. I enjoy that there is a little patio outside with outdoor seating as well.The employees were super respectful and very nice. I genuinely enjoyed the conversation we had and their help in going through their menu options. I really like that the caffeinated teas are in a different color on the menu than the non-caffeinated ones, very nice touch.I ordered a to-go caramel macchiato and it was very good. The beans were flavorful and the caramel was exactly as I needed. I also like that the employees hand you your beverage so you really get the opportunity to sit down and take in their well set up atmosphere.“

“We heard about this place after buying coffee from them during a farmer’s market. All seating is outside, which makes for a beautiful time outdoors. I highly recommend the smothered tots with crawfish and shrimp etouffee. Their Cafe Sua Da was so silky and delicious.“

“Rosewater in Clear Lake is well known for the originality of its fine cocktails and has an excellent, well deserved reputation. The food is also outstanding as management continues to add to the menu. Tonight I ordered a smash-burger and it never fails to deliver. The staff was their pleasant, obliging selves and always seem to want to make you feel welcomed. The expansion of the bar adds needed space & offers a third choice in seating. It seems being accommodating to patrons is Rosewater's over riding theme.“

“Tonight was the first night I went to baked bear. The food was good no complaint. The customer service was exceptional. Darcy was at the register and Kimberly and Niven were the cookie builders and all were very nice and attentive. My only complaint is since this is a very small location I felt myself tripping over all the little kids that were running around the shop.“

“I love coming here! They have great food, pizzas are killer. The staff is wonderful and the inside is pretty cool. They have an outside seating area as well. We always come in a boat and tie up and then go get lunch, or on Sundays we go in and have brunch, which is my favorite. I would and have suggested this to many people. They also have a large beer selection.Parking: You can also dock your boat up for lunch or dinner.“

“I am not from the area, not even from Texas! The food, service, and ambience here are great and I am a little tired from my 3.5-hour flight.Quality starts from the top in terms of leadership. Everyone is pleasant and just formal enough to be professional enough but toned down to be family-friendly. Diana is the manager and she leads by example. If she were to leave the shoes would be too big. Our server, Juan, is a great ambassador for the restaurant and menu; a great server.Compared to where I live I am happy not to hear foul language from the tables around us. “Our server was awesome. As she was taking our appetizer order the female manager(Daniella) decided to yell across the restaurant at our waitress. She told her to stop what you’re doing and come get the food. She came back to take our order crying and informed us she was told to take our order then clock out and go home. That didn’t sit well with me. I almost said something but thought not my place to do so though I probably should have. That manager really needs a reality check and maybe some time off to maybe make a change in the way she treats employees and guests as well.“

“Flew in from Colorado, the land of beer. Our friends took us to their favorite brewery. The options of beer were vast, as the food options. Dilly the bartender was quick to get us our first beers, Scottish Ale, fantastic. At our table, Kristin took our order of a variety of food, all of which was great, bringing water for our friends dog, and perfectly attentive to our food and beer requests (the stouts are all epic). Lastly, special thanks to Frank (manager?), who made our visit all the more memorable and welcoming. We'll be flying back 100%. Well done GBB staff, cooks, and brew masters! Can't wait to return!!!“

“My husband and I stopped here while visiting Baytown. We really enjoyed our food!! The chicken pho was flavorful and fairly priced. My husband really liked the tacos and chicken wings. We would definitely return to this place if we visit Baytown again.“

“What a nice place in a very unassuming shopping center. I stopped in on a Saturday to check it out and was delighted to find that they have beers on tap in addition to those in the coolers. They offer sample sizes so you're able to get a taste before committing to something you may not like. The DigitalPour app lets you peruse the selections available which is pretty cool. I suggest having one or two at the bar and taking some home to try later. Lots of interesting choices and a variety of styles of beer to choose from. Service was friendly and welcoming and the environment was very relaxed and casual. Also worth noting that the restroom was very clean. If the restroom is clean, I feel good about the cleanliness of everything else in the shop.“

“I drove the 50 minutes all the way here because I heard they had good gluten free donuts and I was not disappointed! I’m trying to keep this review family friendly but the donuts were so good I really want to cuss.I also had an iced evergreen latte which was absolutely lovely.Can’t recommend this place enough.“

“We found this place on a whim! Our kids wanted ice cream and the door was locked with the open sign. The chef at the bar let us through to the back. It’s such a great place to kick back, have a few appetizers or drinks, play games as a family and watch a game on the big screen. Our kids really enjoyed being able to participate in playing games. The fries and onion rings were tasty! It wasn’t packed when we arrived mid day on the weekend but I could see it being crowded at night and having trouble parking. Definitely recommend!“

“Super cool place we accidentally found while looking for something else. We’ve been back several times since then. Definitely worth a visit if like wine. Great selection and helpful staff. Atmosphere is relaxing with great views outside and creative decor inside. Prices are extremely fair and you get a really good deal if you purchase wine to go. “We love going to Scotty’s on the Bay! Our favorite bartenders are Amber S and Evan! They are always very attentive. We have followed Amber S from other bars that she worked at. She’s so personable always asks those she doesn’t know their names. She’s bubbly and does her best to make sure you are having a good time! She’s also the one who recommended the many different foods and yummy appetizers that are now our favorites. She aims to greet everyone with a smile and your name!“

“Atmosphere is great, I got a lb. of cold boiled shrimp (it's shrimp only) it had a good spice and flavor (prefer medium sized) wife got the fried fish plate. I would compare the batter and texture to Captain D's (not country style), it also had a good flavor and the fries are kind of like seasoned fries. We also got a couple of canned beverages and a Bushwhacker (it was ok, used to the ones in Fla.). We would definitely go back“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the lemon pepper wings and and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic. The flavor was spot on - the perfect balance of tangy lemon and savory pepper. The wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I couldn't get enough of them!Not only was the food amazing, but the service was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. “Deserves more than 5 stars! This is the best tea shop ever! Cyndy is amazing, always looking out for her customers, offering amazing deals, and the amount of customizations is boggling. Everything is high quality, organic options as well. Everywhere else I go burns the tea, but it’s always fantastic here. I had an issue with my order and had to run back up there but they had what was left off my order waiting for me without me even having to call back so I give them an A for effort and will look past me having to go back up there. If you want to save a few dollars make sure you don't order pick up and just order when you get there.“
