“We came to the base to visit my brother, and he recommended coming to this plaza for lunch. I haven't eat popeyes for a long time. The chicken and fries were good! My brother was excited to eat here since his meals during training weren't that good. It gets very crowded here during lunch time, so you may have to go somewhere else to sit down and eat. We got lucky and found a table in the starbucks area.“

“It's so good! I really wanted chicken tenders and my husband decided to stop here. We are not spicy people but he ordered the 10 piece with no spice and lite mild. They were both good! The chicken is juicy without being greasy. The fries have a good flavor with a little kick. The tenders are huge, like I was thinking a 4 pack but 2 were satisfying! I would definitely stop here again.“

“I was so excited to finally try San Antonio's Gus's location! I've had it once and thought it was some of the best fried chicken I had. San Antonio's location didn't disappoint! The restaurant offers lots of seating and is in a great location. We did seat ourselves per the sign and were greeted immediately by a waiter. Ordering is fairly simple since your menu is on the table. I ordered a 2 piece white meat plate with Cole slaw and Mac and cheese. Our food arrived shortly and of course I dug in! The chicken is juicy and flavorful, however the Mac and cheese stole the show! Hands down this is one of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had! Overall the food and experience were phenomenal! Definitely add this to your list of top fried chicken places in San Antonio.“

“Drove here from Bandera after reading that it was one of the best place to eat in San Antonio. Normally it is rare for me to actually enjoy chicken. This place was not only worth the drive but made me want and ENJOY eating chicken 2 days in a row. Well worth the drive. Also great price and VERY FRIENDLY staff at Both locations. We will definitely be back. Now to decide which location...btw the hot honey is insanely good. I also think the K Pop is awesome (personally my fav) but be warned it has kimchi on it, for those like my husband who dont like kimchi.“

“It's my 1st time here. We arrived at 8pm on Monday. We sat at the bar. The server (Jesusita) was very attentive and friendly. She provided outstanding service during our visit.! She promptly offered drinks and even sample beers after asking if they had a red ale. I went with a Dunkle (German beer). That beer hit the spot...it was really good!! We also ordered the Mac & Cheese. It was absolutely delicious!! The chicken tender was so juicy and flavorful. We ordered the wings, plain, with sauce on the side. They were well cooked, steaming HOT! The slap yo mamma sauce was on point! It had the right heat and good flavor! I loved it! Overall, my experience here was very pleasant. Even the background music was on point. The place has a good vibe! I see myself coming here more often! Come check them out for yourself!“

“I drove all the way to here from 35 minutes drive. Staff there so nice and friendly..We ordered the foodsBurrito eggs chicken, my wife love it and she glad it not come with FF because it will be full for her or waste foods.. she really enjoy burrito chicken with eggs..I order Richie’s blasted fries, It is good but not best because too much buffalo sauce not for foods to go and make my foods little bit soggy.. I should’ve told her buffalo sauce side or less sauce.. but something good with spicy honey that favor so good and never thought of that.. but will I come back order Thst ? Yes I will order separate buffalo sauce on side so I can put myself amount on my fries.. chicken very good.. Mac cheese so good too!!“

“My kid's love Cain's they could eat it every day customer service is on point. As a single parent it's a little pricey I'm a club member scan every time but hardly ever offer rewards I have been a member over 3yrs and only 2 offers y'all should at least offer some coupons. Y'all should provide something for your repeat regular customers.“

“the food is mostly great, the kitchen is always slow. we have been there plenty of times in the AM because the chicken is gooood the waffles are ok but the chicken is good. but every single time the food takes for ever even if it just an omelette. swrveres are always nice prices are good . just keep in mind that food takes some time after you order.“

“Finally came to eat here in person!! My family and I have been ordering food from here on door dash the past three times since April. We love the food. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Staff is so friendly from the moment you walk in, especially our waitress! Such a chill spot. The interior is clean, the mural on the wall is nice, space is not too big, but it's a perfect spot to eat and go. Price is awesome especially for the two person meal. Paid about $37 including drinks. Glad we finally came in person.“

“I just went through the drive-thru because I was in a hurry, but it was delicious and hot, and even with the long line, it went fast. The cashiers walking the drive-thru were helpful and courteous. I added an extra meal after I paid, and they were so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this location, and I will be back.“

“limited parking, hard to get to business lot. Limited parking next to restaurant although adjacent lots are ample. Chicken is crispy, but tenders keep getting smaller and no seasoning on them. Crinkle cut fries are the best item on the menu. The sandwich is good with the brioche bun and the lettuce, but the fingers sometimes fall out. The toast, especially if you order Bob (buttered on both sides), is a must try.The tea and lemonade are in an aerator, so they always taste freshly made. Ask for lemon for your tea. Also, they have honey mustard, made in the house in case you prefer that to dip your tenders in. You have to ask for it. Restaurant is clean but noisy.“

“First time here. I went in to get a chicken sandwich, the lady said they don’t have any at the moment, so I went for the chicken plate.Everything was good on it, but the chicken. It was overcooked. I feel the dry taste in my mouth as I chewed on it. Good thing it came with plenty of chipotle sauce and sour cream, because it would have made it harder to eat the chicken. They also give you salsa verde, so it makes eating the dry chicken more bearable. The rice and beans, the slices of avocado, everything was good on it, but the chicken. The chicken just needs to be cooked better.I also would like to add that I think adding some tomato in the plate would make it a little better, since this plate is more like a salad bowl.Based on my overall experience, I can’t really say if I would want to come back. The food is good, but personally it doesn’t make me eager to return. Maybe I have to try the other items?“
