“Shout out to the A.M. crew! The most amazing people ever! They are always on time, doing what they can to help customers and getting the job done right! I would love to personally shout out the G.M. who is very patient, supportive, & positive manager! She knows how to run a business! Along side the A.M. manager who is very fast paced and hardworking! Doing whatever she can to help with the insiders and drivers! They are never rude to the customers or employees and always bring joy to the workplace! I met the A.M. drivers who are excellent with delivering on time with 100%! I always see them working hard to get the customers satisfaction! Thank you guys for what you do!“

“Excellent meatballs. Highly recommend the meatball appetizer. Pizza crust was very good, a little too thin for my personal liking. Fresh ingredients and 100% handmade. Perfect for atmosphere for a date night setting. Outside was perfect. Prices are a little steep but the food shows it.“

“This pizza is different from your average commercial pizza place that cooks in a 475 oven. It uses what I can gather, a more bready dough that smells wonderful, is soft, and the edges crisp up nicely. Not greasy. Not a thin pizza either, has some delightful soft chew for their normal dough. By far one of the greatest price points as well for $7.99. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, and promptly taken care of. Offered cheese and peppers as well since most places charge, they do not. If that changes in the future I wouldn't hold that against them. Overall a top 5 pizza staple that I hope does very well. If they stay consistent, they'll have a customer for life.Short version:Pizza is like Little Ceasars STYLE. MUCH better quality, That's where the comparison stops. Except if it was twice as good.Will try any variation of a thin crust next time for a second review.“

“Honestly Great Food , Great Price, and Awesome Service. I had the Gyro and Greek Salad Combo . The owner was there and was friendly as well as the woman who took my order. This was a quiet and peaceful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. Thank you to my friend who recommended it. They also are known for their Chicago Dogs so I've been told. I definitely recommend ? ?“

“Poppy’s Pizza has been one of our faves for a long time! Serving up some the best pizza pie in San Antonio. The place reminds me of an old school pizzeria the way they should be. Simple and priced right. Not looking for frills just good dang pizza! The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for fast food this ain’t it. Good pizza takes time if it’s made fresh so expect a 20 minute wait, it’s well worth it.“

“What a great restaurant! Recommended by a friend, I was eager to try and see for myself. I was not disappointed at all. Seated right away but chose to sit at the bar just to be up a little bit. If you're craving a cocktail or beer, you'll have plenty of room and space between each other sitting at the bar. Got myself an unsweetened tea and salad to start off with. Went ahead and received the meatballs for my first time visit and all 3 items were great! Served fairly quickly and pizza arrived just the way I ordered it! Watch out for the jalapeños, they are hot! “After reading all the great reviews, I decided to try Lou's ,I ordered through door dash and recieved without a hitch,couldn't wait to try it,and when I did,it didn't disappoint ...except for one problem,it's really salty! I'm a salt person and it was almost too salty for me,I love the crust so much bud unfortunately, boyfriend couldn't eat it! I know pepperoni is salty but even when I removed it still salty!I will try it again,maybe the white pizza as I love the crust.“

“Great place for Pizza and Stella beverages. We came late Saturday night, right before closing and the team there was already wrapping the place down. They were so kind and allowed us to order to go, and we had a beverage at the bar while waiting. I tried the raspberry Stella, but was too bitter for me. I was given a sample of a lighter option, it was delicious. #7. Pizza was overwhelmingly delicious, we wished we could have ordered one to go. They use fresh ingredients. The dough was soft and had a perfect toasty taste to it. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor honestly. We appreciate the waiter who welcomed us, and the lady bar tender who was so kind. “I have been here a couple of times already and it was so much fun! The food was good and there were plenty of games that my child could play. They also enjoyed the rides which I was able to get on too :) The buffet price for kids is only $7.99 but I got the $35 package for myself which included the buffet, game card and rides. The ricotta al forno, was just cheese bread, but it sure was tasty. This place is very tasty but you do pay for it.“

“Parking: For being in SanAntonio's Medical Center area, there was more than ample parking. I took the last handicap parking, (of 3 or maybe 4). Hello! Medical Center, lots of handicap parking needed.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room off children too run around, plus free soda refills. It's not set up as a playground, just wide open spaces , and people didn't seem to be bothered by children playing.“

They are also one of the few places I found that has Pepsi Zero at the fountain. The staff was so friendly too! “Came to pick up a few pizzas to go while attending a track event at nearby UTSA. There were a few customers picking up orders, so was able to order right away. They had about 10 different pizzas already made for individual slice orders, but I needed a few large pizzas to go.Ordered extra large sizes of The Works and Margherita Pizzas. Was quoted 15 minutes, so did some quick shopping at HEB next door. Came back 15 minutes later and pizzas were just coming out the oven. They asked if I wanted any peppers and cheese and I was on my way.Opened pizzas about 10 minutes later and they were still hot And looked great. Pizza was as expected of a New York style with a thin and crispy crust. There were 8 large slices in each and was perfect for sharing amongst 7 people. An average meal would be 2 slices. Ingredients were fresh and plentiful on each pizza. Would come again for a good New York style pizza.“
