We got the seasonal pizza and the ricotta alto. Each dish was very filling even when split. The pizza was the piselli e asparagi, it was a lot of veggies on a blanco pizza. Not having the tomato sauce made the veggies pop and as long as you like these (sweet peas, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes) you are in good shape. The ricotta al forno, was just cheese bread, but it sure was tasty. This place is very tasty but you do pay for it.
We have been coming here since before the remodel of the bar area. We had a 30-minute conversation with the bartender about extraction and grinding sizes of coffee beans for the espresso shots. The food is always exceptional every time we go. If you're in San Antonio or just visiting, it's a must go.

These are the best pizzas in San Antonio. The flavor and freshness is exactly like Italy. It's exceptional food. Where Dough falls slightly short is their staff are hit and miss. Sometimes superb. Sometimes snobby. By the latter I mean they have a superior attitude which is off putting. Given we're all equal no staff should act superior or condescending.
