“Our 1st time trying this place. We haven’t had any luck with finding a good sushi place since living in Denton for 5 years. Restaurant is clean and neat. Sushi chefs are Japanese which is a plus point. Servers can be a little bit more friendly. We ordered miso soups, a deep fried roll, salmon and tuna sashimi. The order came with salad. The salad didn’t look appetizing to me. The miso soup and deep fried roll were ok. The best part that we came for is the Sashimi was so so fresh. We would come back for the sashimi. Maybe just personal reference, we don’t like rolls with too much sauce on them.“

It comes with 2 dumplings, salad with ginger dressing, the teriyaki shrimp was on top of grilled veggies (, , ), 4 piece roll of Cali or spicy crab and rice (steamed or fried). The rice was a nice portion and was served in a bowl on the side. The Cali roll was big and made with all fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the shrimp tempura roll; it comes with 8 pieces and is a very large roll with fresh and real ingredients.The ambiance is low lighting, tables and chairs as well as low tables with cushions for floor seating for dining in. Whether you dine in or get it to go, you MUST try this restaurant; you will absolutely love it!“

“Sunday evening and everything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I live in the area and decided to come in for our anniversary. Quickly greeted and seated at the bar and brought water/menus. Started with a crudo sampler which was a great way for a couple to try a few of their raw offerings. My favorite was the tuna topped with the crab. I ordered a 3-roll regular combo and my husband opted for the 5-roll premium option. Every single thing was delicious and fresh. Even the options with sauces were very nicely balanced and not overdone. My favorite was the salmon option with the mango. My husband loved the yellowtail topped with a jalapeño. Chef gifted us a couple of pieces of salmon belly sushi which was my favorite bite of the night! It was lightly smoked and came with a dab of a wonderful sauce. Tiramisu mascarpone for dessert had a cheesecake texture which I really enjoyed. Will be back and so happy to have them in our neighborhood.“

I tend to get cosmos but I'm not too crazy about theirs. How good the food is far outweighs this minor drawback. LOVE the pulled pork tachos. Get them every time. Most of the time I just get multiple appetizers. Gyozo perfectly seared and flavorful. Fried shrimp tempura has a nice light batter so you can appreciate the shrimp. Pork belly bao is yummy. Meat so tender. Not too fatty. Slaw adds a nice crunch. Will return here every time I visit. Prices good too Walking through kitchen to get to the bathroom is kinda weird though!“

“We LOVE this place! Great sushi at a great price! Our daughter discovered Nori through DoorDash and ordered regularly.because one roll and fried rice could consistently last her 3 meals. She then asked us to take her on her birthday. My wife, who loves sushi, saw the lower prices and assumed the rolls must be small. She in turned ordered seeming 3 of every roll on the menu. The waitress' eyes got HUGE when she saw the order and said "that's WAY TOO MUCH!" We all laughed and she had my wife reduce the order to 1 roll each and even complete remove some rolls. When the rolls, sushimi, sushi arrived, we were like OMG what did we do??? It was SO MUCH! These are NOT small rolls. The table looked like a floating city (as they put the rolls in these 2 feet by 10 inch boats) of colorful art. It was beautiful, but overwhelmingly intense volume. We felt like if we really pushed ourselves we could mostly wipe it out. We may be hurting a little, but we wouldn't look like babies nibbling on our food and so we went to town. We enjoyed every bite of every piece and quickly put a sizable dent in the order. We were feeling proud and full and accomplished. That's when the remaining boats showed up... We cried uncle and threw our hands up in defeat. There was an entire additional boat we didn't touch. SO MUCH FOOD! We still laugh at that wonderful experience and we still don't let my wife forget. It's still funny and made for a great memory.“

“It was my first time here and I came for a date night and it was amazing. The ambience was perfect as it was dark and there was a pretty tree over the tables. They got us seated quite quickly since we went early around 6 pm. You should go early because the tables do fill up quite fast. Me and my boyfriend got spicy salmon rolls, Philadelphia rolls and the dynamite shrimp rolls. We also ordered the donkatsu which was more than enough for the both of us. The entrees are big portions and everything tasted amazing. It was a little expensive but I totally expect this from sushi restaurants as they use high quality ingredients. “This is my favorite sushi restaurant in DFW. I come here every other week or so. The all you can eat dinner experience is really great. There is so many options to choose from. I love how everything is made fresh to order rather than buffet style all you can eat. Even though the price may be high to some people I always feel like I get my money's worth after I leave. I have come during lunch before and although the price is cheaper alot of the menu isn't available like it is during dinner. I would not come here personally during lunch again. “We had a family meeting today here. The place is very clean . Front lady was very friendly and polite. The Chief who made food for us in the center of table was pretty professional and, busy but in order. The new Asian waiter was pretty good. We had too many people together but, he made everything clear as a new employee there. We love everyone who works there. “It's a little hole in the wall. You have to have a reservation and you better prep yourself. Cozy sushi bar area seating around 10. They have a small table in a separate room and a small bartop. The food is prepared by the owner in front of you if you choose sushi. He apparently trained under an Italian for a while and the tiramasu is to die for ( both the normal and the green tea). We chose to have the chefs choice for our meal and it was chosen well!!! The food is priced a little high but you get what you pay for. If you leave there unsatisfied, I would say you intended to. 5 out of 5. I just wish I could find another reservation this year!“
