“Our first visit but won’t be our last!After a LOT of research we made our way to Interstellar on Sunday. We had read that queues can be long and that sometimes when you get to the front items have run out, so we decided to do the waiting earlier in the day to ensure we were sorted.We arrived at 9am and were first in the line so were able to have some great chats with the staff (in particular how they had weathered the storm the previous night ensuring all smokers were tended to so that we could eat today!).It did not take long for others to arrive and by 11am the queue was LONG and the anticipation was building! Once the doors were opened (by John Bates, no less!), we ordered Half a pound of Brisket, Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly, Half a pound of Pulled Lamb Shoulder, Smoked Scalloped Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Jalapeno Slaw, Banana Pudding and Mexican Chocolate Rice Pudding.From the first bite we knew why this restaurant is currently Texas Monthly’s #2 for the state - it truly is next level!The brisket is amazing and the pork belly bites well, let’s just say I will still be talking about those for some time - they were that memorable!! And the sides and deserts were also in a class of their own. In particular, the potatoes are not what you’d expect at a standard barbecue joint, they were creamy and seriously so delicious and the Banana Pudding - I just wished we’d ordered two so I had even more to take home!Whilst we were eating we were visited by the man himself, John Bates, and he genuinely was interested in how we liked our meal and also discussed our travels. I thought it was a nice touch that he said hi to all his customers and took time out of his day to do so.With very full bellies and our leftovers packed up, we left having absolutely no doubt that we will return one day - although I expect the lines will be even longer next time!“

“Kai is the man! That food was beyond delicious. Korean fried chicken and katsu were both perfectly crispy crunchy. Amazing flavor with or without the sauce offered. Don't sleep on the Mac salad either... Everything was phenomenal. I'm not even hungry and already plan on coming back for dinner.“

“Best BBQ hands down! Went with a large group ordered the family meal with brisket, chicken, beef ribs beef and lamb sausages, Mac n cheese, creamed corn, coleslaw, potatoes salad. Everything was absolutely delicious the stars were definitely the brisket and the creamed corn. The staff was absolutely fantastic they were so accommodating to our large group offered food suggestions and helped us pack up our leftovers to go. Definitely check them out!“

“This food truck outside The Good Lot has some of the best BBQ not only in Cedar Park, but in Texas in my opinion. The brisket was thick, moist and flavorful. The ribs were smokey fall off the bone perfect. Some of the best green beans I’ve ever had and by far the best potato salad I’ve ever had.“

“Wow. Great sandwiches. They only had sandwiches and Frito pies, tonight. They didn't have any of the plates mentioned in other reviews. But these sandwiches... wow. Huge. Get the Big Boy sandwich. Brisket and sausage on a huge potato bun. Think "Whataburger-sized" bun. Probably close to 3/4 of a pound of meat. Really good price for the amount of food.“

“First time at a Longhorn Steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed with our experience. Had items from the Lunch menu and they were excellent and very reasonably priced. Special mention to their complimentary bread and butter appetizer. Prompt service and great ambience to top it off.“

I usually never get smoked chicken, but theirs was out of this world tender. We also got the brisket, burnt ends, and pulled pork sandwich and all were equally delicious!“

Do us all a favor just say you are closed.. haven’t eaten here in over a year huge disappointment. You guys are great just post online you are closed. We wasted 2 hours today. “I am a 56 year old native Texan and JJ’s hamburgers are AMAZING !Simple old fashioned burgers that are perfect every single time. The french fries are too. Always fresh & hot, never greasy, don’t smell or taste of other food, crisp on the outside & soft on the inside - absolutely incredible! The chopped BBQ sandwiches are great, the fully loaded baked potatoes are big enough for two people & fantastic and the breakfast tacos (should be called burritos) are awesome.Colton is the BEST !! He answers the phone, puts in orders and even fills orders. The busiest day of ... EVER (total eclipse) he answered the phone (after busy signal for 30 minutes) and was as calm & friendly as ever. He always gets our order right, he’s always patient even though I can hear chaos in the background, he speaks clearly & slowly and remembers me even though we only order twice a month.“
