“I'm here visiting from Maryland and my friend said this was a cool bar. We only came for drinks. The service was on point. When we had any questions the bartender was more than happy to educate us on a certain whiskey or any type of drink for that matter. We got two old fashioneds' that were made to perfection. The saltiness from the bacon complimented the sweetness from the sugar. The drink was also infused with smoke. "Willy's Smokin' Maple Bacon Old Fashioned". Whether you just want to come and have a beer and grab a bite or get fancy like we did, it's definitely a unique bar that I would not pass up.“

“Let me just start by saying I NEVER leave reviews.Since my husband and I moved to the Leander area we made Margaritas a regular spot. The food is great and the service is even better.Tonight we made the decision to stop here for dinner tonight. As we were finishing up our meal, we had a table nearby who had a babbling baby. He was enjoying his visit just as much as us and the tables around us! My husband and I exchanged comments about how cute he was and continued with our meals… that’s until a RUDE UNCARING older lady decided to inform the parents that their baby should be quiet. This created an uproar in the dinning room from multiple tables. As a restaurant GM myself I’m well aware that there are arrogant people out there- BUT the way that the staff handled it absolutely blew me away. They were prompt to drop off boxes and a check with the repulsive table- while also talking the time to stop and profusely apologize to the family with the small child. They made sure to let the family know that they did not agree nor condone with the older lady’s comments, and their child is free to be as noisy as he would like.I commend the staff for not only taking care of this problem immediately but with more maturity than I would be able to.Margaritas is doing something right to have such a great team.“

“I typically go to the Burnett location bc they rock on everything and it took a while for this location to get up to speed on making the food and most importantly the pies just as good. I can now say they make the food and pies just as good as the Burnett location!! The service has always been outstanding, and this location is still kind of a hidden gem, it doesn't get crazy crowded like it should but I'm ok with that. Lately I've been getting the OG chicken sandwich, Dang Hot style and it hits the spot for me, big piece of chicken with perfect amount of spice on the chicken. Any heat below Dang Hot is just a dry rub, which doesn't do anything for me bc throwing dry spices on fried chicken is no fun. I would compare Dang Hot to prolly serano chili spice level. The slaw I got on it could prolly be a little less wet next time. Had i gotten it to go, my sandwich would have been a soggy mess. Still my last 2 visits were great, loved the service and the food. The chocolate toffee pecan pie is the bomb here now, tastes like heaven, you gotta try it even if you don't like pecan pie, this is something else. Prices are pretty good, plenty of options under $20. Give this place a try, totally worth it in my book!“

“My husband and I came here for the first time 3/8/24. We had eyed this place before but due to my food issues, it didn’t seem like I could get much to eat. Well, they changed the menu since we looked a while ago. We gambled and decided to go. We showed up right at the end of happy hour, so a couple of things were a bit cheaper. So many things sounded great on the new menu but I wasn’t sure how they cooked them. I let our server Emily know so had a dairy issue and she sent Adam over to have a chat. We started with the Mesquite Smoked Brussels & the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta. Sorry we were hungry and I forgot the photos. I moved the cheese off the bruschetta and it was still delicious! I do not care for brussel sprouts but let me tell you, they sure were yummy! I had the Maryland Style Crab Cakes cooked in oil vs butter. The hubby had the Texas Carbonara and they were both delicious and we highly recommend both. They catered to my dairy issue, but if I paid attention to my minor gluten issue I think I would have struggled a bit. I could likely have had the Venison Lettuce Wraps but I didn’t check since I stopped Adam at the crab cakes. The atmosphere was pleasant, noise level just fine, bathrooms were clean. We will be back for sure! Thank you Emily and Adam for your help and excellent service!Dietary restrictions: See my review for restrictions. Thanks for reading!“
