“We drive from South Tyler to eat here. The bun is fantastic, and the burger is smashing. Literally. Really well seasoned, and the condiments are crisp and fresh. Love the French fries cos the have the peel still on. Service is wonderful. I love to eat where they actually cook for you.”

“We discovered this hidden gem at the 2026 Taste of Tyler and had to visit. The food is amazing, the atmosphere relaxing and the service delightful (thank you, Karis). We will most definitely put this on our regular dining rotation. Definitely worth the drive!”

“We came in for dinner since we just got back home from a long, overnight flight and we were exhausted. Jason at the Lindale location was our waiter and I have to say, he’s the best waiter we’ve ever had, anywhere. We didn’t have to ask for anything, and he went above and beyond with the little things to make sure we had a great experience. He even came out to the parking lot to bring us out to go box because we forgot it inside. We’ve been to this establishment hundreds of times and Jason was by far the best waiter we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend him enough!”

“The service is friendly and fast. The food is made fresh and to order where nothing comes from inside a can. As a local business owner I appreciate the overall service from the moment I walked in the door to when I walked out with my massive order. Oh that’s another thing, I placed a HUGE order to feed 10 people and they got it right. You won’t go wrong getting street tacos here and you will bless a local small business.”

“Best fast breakfast option in the area especially when you consider taste as a factor. My only hold back from grabbing breakfast here more often is the SNOOZE button, but that craving takes over and drags me outta bed early just to get there and back to the schools before the morning school traffic flood. The bread on their breakfast items is the best I know of in the area.”

“docs has never failed me. the best part of the pizza rolls is when the cheese oozes out, it bakes a little crispy on the edges. i love the little cheese bites snackie. plus the garlic butter on top makes the dough so flavorful. idc what anyone says. this place is a small town wonder. i’ve been across state & this is the only place i love everything on the menu. ive tried to create my own concoction & it just does not beat docs. also the pricing is cheaper for higher quality compared to franchise pizza.”

“Really like the chicken salad and pecan bread. However tonight we rolled in at 7:25 (close at 8). Employees didn’t seem happy about another customer so close to closing time. Couldn’t buy a sandwich but had to get something out of cooler already made up which was fine. Sorry to leave less than a 5 star review, but we were not made to feel welcome.”

“We came from San Antonio to visit family and decided to try out El Lugar in Lindale. We came an hour before closing today and the guy working as a cashier and also the cook for the night was very friendly and helpful. The #7 was as good as I remember. I recommend this place if you’re ever in Lindale.”

“Manager is the best around, she's a people person. Pizzas are always good also, it's been a while since I've seen people enjoy their jobs. It's always very clean and bright inside which makes for a better experience also. I try to come here whenever I'm in town, I would definitely recommend to anyone, its hard to find service with a smile anymore. I give it an A+. Hope yall enjoy it also.”

“Wow. Last night our homeschool group descended on dairy queen after our end of the year program. We packed.this.place out. EVERY one of your staff did an impressive job. The person working the register (Mkinnly?) Was patient friendly and acted like it was totally normal to have a line so large it almost didn't fit in the store! The kitchen staff had the food pumping out so quick and efficiently I was so impressed. And Ireland had one of the most frustrating jobs- trying to wade through the crowd locating the customers with their food. An unenviable task when it's a crowd so large no one can hear you calling out the orders. Thank you Ireland! Fantastic job dairy queen, we had a great gathering after our program thanks to your exemplary services and you guys handling it like it was totally normal.”

Its hard to find really good employees these days and yall found a diamond in the rough. “Whataburger should be completely ashamed with themselves right now. Temperatures are now at Record highs above 105 And Store 596 of a 1604 West in San Antonio hasn’t had AC since May and we’re only supplied with portable units. The store is completely unbearable, but I commend the staff that was working diligently to prepare food in this building come on Whataburger these are your employees that give many hours to you. They should at least work in bearable work conditions. Please address this situation. Get it fixed”

“ONE STAR They gave us the wrong order through drive thru, was short a sandwhich, and the other two were wrong. Drove back because they would answer the phone after I called and they hung up once i told them the issue. They remade our sandwiches, but they had so much mustard on them they were unediable and the bread was brick hard it hurt your mouth to bite the sandwich. Menu board was broken everything read $1 hand written sign read ask us for our prices. Total waste of $32 and a ruint lunch. They also gave us two sheets of coupons for our trouble, coupons good at Athens, Canton, and Corsicana but expire 9/30/24 THATS TODAY! This place needs to just close the doors it's not worth the headache of staying open. We are done with this store. After reading recent reviews on Google it's been like this for over half a year.”
