“I visit twin peaks a lot in san marcos and the San Antonio locations and decided to give this location a try i had naomi/bambi as my server! She said she just started but I couldnt tell not only is she beautiful but very attentive our drinks were never empty she made sure we were okay and we had a great time. Will definitely be returning!!!“

“Gave it a four only because of Monica the bartender she’s amazing. Doorman Gonzo however is a power tripping joke. A group of us came in 8 to be exact 7 females one male, we came in from the monthly truck meet. All but 3 females were mid to late 40’s including myself (49) the male my boyfriend is 51 we walk in go to the bar and Gonzo shows up out of no where (wasn’t at the door) and starts telling me I need your ID, the younger ones had theirs mine was in my truck, I told him my date of birth clearly I’m way over 21 but then he starts power tripping, Monica told him no it’s fine they’re of age and he proceeds to repeat over and over obnoxiously “I need to see ID” what a joke normally I’d be flattered however he was just being a j**** we go in there frequently during our truck meets and I’ve never experienced a doorman abusing his pseudo authority they way he did, I’ll make sure when going there next month we send a scout in to make sure that j*** isn’t “manning” the place. I will say that I’ve always had really great experiences with all other bartenders and doormen there.“

“Saw this place on Facebook and as always looking for something new. There is a large amount of parking across the street but the parking lot can fill up fast as well . This tells you how great this little town is. The inside is small but the patio area is very spacious with several tables to sit at. There is a stage and the music was awesome! I felt like I was at home in my own back yard. The food trucks vary. I did not care much for the two food trucks there that night. (I won't say which because this is based on my taste not anyone else's) drinks were good and there are $2 shots when you hear the train horn ?. I loved this place and so did my family who attended. The age group is a mixture and dog friendly. Try this place and always judge fir yourself.“

“It’s very refreshing. When you go into a restaurant and you’re waitress like we had to attended us here and her name was Carina, even during lunch rush hour, she made sure we were ok and didn’t need anything. And was very kind and very attentive.“

“The Keto pizza was wonderful. The crust was crisp and I have had the cauliflower crust at few other places, but the crust was nice and crisp!!! The wings were great and so was the Bloody Mary!!!We took home pumpkin pie cheesecake square that was keto friendly…. Operative word is WAS. “Great atmosphere, spacious, karaoke Friday nights are fun, the bands that come here on Saturdays are amazing, and plenty of pool tables. The only downfall is there is no liquor, only beer. Other than that, this place is a small town hidden gem!!“

“Great service. We came in when they just opened for the day. The owner was very inviting. We asked if they were serving food, but she said not until about 7 pm. Later, she came to us and offered to make a fish sandwich and fries for us, which we thought was very kind. It looks like a fun place to come for an evening. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.“

“We have been coming to the Angry Elephant and Roo Pub for the last 8 years, The past 3 years the Angry Elephant became headquarters to the Alamo City Bolts "LA Chargers" Thanks to Chip who has always treated us like family and Mike Tejeda who made sure we were taken care of during the games, We can't say enough for the staff they have assembled other then excellent and family.The FOOD is great we favor the snacks like Nacho Fries and the wings. We've tasted almost everything on their menu and never disappointed.The Atmosphere is beyond reproach, Easy going, kids are allowed I believe up to 9pm, Dart Boards, Pool Tables and Trivia games, make it a point to visit you won't be disappointed“

“1st, our server was excellent. Very friendly, courteous and professional. My bourbon hamburger ? was awesome. Juicy and flavorful. My wife had the bourbon chicken and shrimp ? and she loved it. We had the blonde for dessert and that was amazing. We also tried the dollaritas for the 1st time and while they were good, they were weak but what can you expect for a buck. “First time visit. Came for darts and drinks on a Sunday afternoon during NFL season. Sat at the bar, and my friend and I had Moscow mules and bloody Mary's - excellent! A large group of San Francisco 49ers fans showed up for the game and took the place over. We didn't get to play darts, but that's OK. It was fun being engulfed by an enthusiastic group. Bartenders at the bar were very attentive - great service.“

“I like it here. The staff are really friendly and likeable. They make you feel comfortable. It's a local neighborhood hangout so don't expect fancy but if you want to sit at the bar and have a beer and a burger among friendly people in a clean environment then this is definitely a good choice. “Got there a little early, 3pm. Looks large enough. Noticed several dart games along the walls. Was hoping for a good Chicago brew like I remember (Old Style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, etc.) but only brand names or regional. I was drawn there because their "Cubs" logo can be seen from the road. It was on my bucket list to stop in; and I did and enjoyed a frosty can of Pabst!There is a red food truck parked out front which boasts Chicago-style food. Now THAT is on my 'to-do' list...“

“This is a good spot if you are looking for a local dive bar near the airport with cheap drinks and decent bar food. It has a "Cheers" feel to it where everybody knows your name. “Hard to get drinks from the bar as it is always crowded. Could use a waitress or two. But pretty nice atmosphere & great cover band playing. Oh and the darts games need to be better maintained. They only had broken darts to offer to use, which in themselves were useless. I asked for more tips for them & waited over 2 hours never got them. Maybe better luck next time.“

“They have Carlsberg pilsner in a can for a reasonable price and that's technically all people need to know because that's phenomenal. They have plenty of soccer groups that watch the games which is also pretty sweet for an American establishment.“

“Attended the 2023 UTA convention this weekend at this location and I can definitely say that this was the place where I spent most of my money! Fun atmosphere with the biggest screen ever seen, greatest bartenders who remember what you order and Bree was the BEST server I had 2 nights in a row!! Thank you for the experience.“

The food sometimes may take a while, but you have to understand that their’s only one person working in the kitchen, so I usually sit back with my drink, watch the game, chat while waiting for the food. It is always cold there, so you may wanna bring a jacket!“

“Fun place to meet up with friends for happy hour! We love Amanda, she's a great bartender. What we like the most is that she doesn't play on her phone, hang out with only regular customer's and ignore the other clients in the bar. Why other bartenders around town don't get that is beyond me!“
