“* have been apart of APA here for 3 years and have never had a problem... one of the kitchen staff ZZ is a great guy and does greatwith getting the food out as quick as possible... Sydney is a wonderful and kind person who always smiles as she says high and then Maddie and the other waitress are amazing and quick to get your order to you... Love this place...“
“This is a really nice place! They have a big outdoor area to hang out in, but you can also stay inside if you want. They offer lots of different drinks, so you can easily find something you like. There's also a food truck where you can order some tasty food, which is super convenient. What I really liked was the pickleball courts outside. You can play a game or just watch others play while enjoying a cold drink. It's a fun way to spend time there. I definitely recommend checking it out!“
“Came in on a Thursday afternoon, had Tati as a server. She was great, came around regularly to see if we needed anything and always made sure our glasses were full. Had one small problem with one of our dishes but the manager Sarah took care of it.“
“Really great beer and cocktail spot on Rainey. This is definitely alot more chill, easy paced, and even a great date night. Large space, inside and outside areas, good truck , and great service. They have The Boot for beers. I really like this spot. It's easy more easy going and suggest you try it out. We'll definitely be back!!“
“What a great vibe! Sat outside on their patio, options were hightops or picnic tables. We had to order from the bar then food was delivered to the table. Food wasn't delivered at the same time but it was fine. Good Cocktails and cold beer!“
“I really enjoyed this spot during sxsw. It was a nice quieter haven but also energetic enough that I didn't lose my mojo. It was so great I went back twice. The poboys hit the spot - shrimp, fried green tomato, and hot roast beef - all delicious. Yes, I had friends to share...come on now!The trout dip was excellent! Pro tip - get it with the green Cajun Dill Tators bag of Zapp's instead of regular.Service was great, drinks were great. The only slight negative was the gumbo, while very tasty, was more rice than gumbo.Extra points for Crystal hot sauce though!“
“Typical dive bar but with better lighting. Had a burger and it was about what I expected. Nice charbroiled flavor but with ingredients commensurate with the insanely good price. You dress your own however you want, which is nice and they have my favorite brand of Sriracha. If I were to nitpick, I'd rather have a 1/3 burger with better beef. The flame grill is awesome and I feel like it's being wasted by the typical backyard grill frozen patty which inevitably comes out dry.Definitely a cool place and I'll be back to have drinks and try more of the insanely affordable menu.“
“We visited this place tonight. Not my first time but this time was special! All of the bartenders tonight were great but big shout out to Travis! He made the celebration we were having fun! Strong drinks and even jumping in on the karaoke!! Caught him several times singing along as he tended to our needs! 5 stars is not enough!! ❤️“
“Best place ever! Great for birthdays and any time! Service was impeccable! Brittany is the bomb!!!! Matt was fantastic and hardworking! Kodiak was very attentive! This is the best place ever in Austin! I visit from Houston and this is the only place I feel super included and comfortable!!! Best place to sing and have a blast!!!“
“I have been to this place I only had margarita, it taste so good the chips and salsa not that great they can do much better the salsa looks not appealing at all the view is amazing and the seating area is nice would defiantly come back again“
“One of my favorite bars on the east side that truly transports you back to your grandmas house in the 70’s with the interior decor. Amazing cocktails, amazing food, and such a large patio that’s great for watching sports and hanging with a large group of friends. Easily THE BEST happy hour in Austin, can’t beat $3 wells.“
“Such a great neighborhood spot! The atmosphere is great inside and out. The food is good I have not ever had anything I didn’t really enjoy. I highly recommend the tuna tartar tacos for an apprised. I promise you will be think why did I not order these for my meal.“
“My wife and I visited while in town for the 2024 eclipse. We stopped for a quick drink and some chips and queso at an outdoor table before walking the park close by. The drinks were very good and the queso was excellent. I can't remember the name of our server but he was extremely friendly and did a good job of making sure we were taken care of. We really liked the vibe of this place and would likely come again if we end up in town again sometime in the future.“
“This is your quintessential pizza and bar neighborhood place where you can either grab a drink as you're picking up your order or bring the whole family. Hands down, best wings in the area, order the Toss wings with a side of spicey toss for dipping. The team is great. Good beer and wine selection, the people are super nice and the food is good. Plus they support all the community teams. Love this place!Kid-friendliness: Great patio - covered in the colder months, plus an open yard for kicking the ball around.“
“During a recent visit to Champions Bar in Austin, I had the great fortune of being served by Leeanne, the bartender, who truly made my experience unforgettable. Sitting at the bar, I was immediately greeted by Leeanne's infectious smile and warm presence, which set the tone for a wonderful evening. Her deep knowledge of the drink menu and insightful recommendations catered perfectly to my taste, showcasing not only her expertise but her genuine interest in ensuring guests have a memorable experience. What truly set Leeanne apart was her unparalleled professionalism blended with a personal touch, making me feel valued and well cared for throughout my stay. It's rare to encounter someone who embodies the spirit of hospitality as naturally as Leeanne does. If you're ever at Champions Bar, make sure to take a seat at the bar. Leeanne's exceptional service is a highlight you won't want to miss.“
“Warehouse Billiard Bar is the go-to spot in Austin, TX! The atmosphere is a perfect blend of energy and relaxation, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Parking is plentiful when you arrive. The entertainment options are diverse, including games like darts, shuffleboard, and 26 pool tables (with one dedicated to tournaments). Additionally, they offer basketball games and various video games. The presence of a TouchTunes jukebox allows you to play music from your phone and use your credits. The attentive bartenders and waitresses catered to our group's needs, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend spending time at Warehouse Billiard Bar.“
“Even before walking into the bar my friends and I felt so welcomed by Carter and her amazing personality! We came in for 1 drink and stayed for 3 hours! Carter was so amazing making us drinks to our liking and chatting us up. We loved our time at the Gnar Bar! First time in Austin and will definitely be back!! Side note…the pink starburst shot on the Pride menu is FIRE! Such an inclusive place! Thank you Carter!“
“Overall e Enjoyable. Has an outside s Sports Bar feel. Small classic sit down bar and "To Go " order location just inside main doors. Large conjoined outside eating are with classic wood benches accompanied w/ Large TVs. Pizza is decent, c Caso was decent as well.Parking: Directly in front of establishment. And street parking directly off of First Street.“
“This is the greatest place you’ll ever go!!!! The Cedar Door Austin invented the Mexican ?!!! It’s been in at least 3 locations and each one is better than the last!!!! You absolutely have to go at least once!!!! The absolute best ever‼️????“
“Did not get a chance to eat here, but the atmosphere and the live band and the great service from both bartenders was pretty outstanding. Only reason I gave a four star instead of five was the limited selection of beer on tap. They did however have one of my fave beers in a bottle which was a bonus. Overall, if you're in the Northeast Austin area or cedar Park this is definitely a fun place to hang.“
“Our bartender Jack was phenomenal, friendly and attentive. Sunday brunch $6 make your own bloody mary. They give you a glass w ice and vodka shot. You go to be Lil area setup with mixers, hot sauce, veggies, pickled vegs, Bacon, Shrimp, ...mmmm amazingFoods great, Def be back“
“I was strolling through downtown Austin this weekend and decided to stop in Trifecta for a quick drink. I noticed they were also serving brunch, so I thought ‘why not?’Now, I consider myself to be well-traveled and a strong food critic so I don’t say this lightly, but y’all…this was one of the BEST breakfasts I’ve ever had in my life! Every ingredient was so fresh and flavorful and this was one of a handful of food experiences I’ve had where I’m still thinking about days later. The owners, chef, and bartender were all very friendly and welcoming as well and the bar was spotless. I will absolutely be coming back next time I’m in Austin and for anyone who’s curious… do not sleep on that biscuit sandwich! An 11/10!“
“I wanted to dance so bad but Post op surgery three weeks says nope! The dj was on point but I had a good time pretending to dance in the . Met a few new folks which is always a nice vibe after a long productive week. First Fridays is a thing for each month. Good food and live music .“
“This was my first time here and I had a blast! I'm not exactly sure what it is about the place but the atmosphere is so comfortable and capturing. I did not eat anything this day but I did visit the bar. I was not sure what I wanted from the bar but I told the bartender to surprise me and she made me the best drink I had in a while. I still don't know what it is but it was great. The prices were great as well.“
“My server, Chris, was very kind and helpful. Drinks were always filled, and the food was phenomenal! I got the Brick Baked Chicken Mac N Cheese, and the skin was perfectly crispy, the chicken was well seasoned, the bacon on top was was savory and full of flavor, and the cheese sauce was delicious! I would highly recommend that you try eating here. The service is excellent, the drink menu is expansive, and the food is some of the best I've ever had! (Try the Chipotle Fried Pickles as an appetizer).“
“We've been talking about checking this place out for years and finally did today, to wrap up my wife's birthday weekend. The vibe was awesome! We had already had lunch (since they open at 3 and we were getting hangry before). Almost immediately we decided this will be our go to hangout when we want to play pool or darts and do a little day drinking or just to have a low key afternoon/evening. Can't wait to try the food. What we saw and smelled was very enticing! We will be back soon and often!“
“First off, service was probably the best I've had in a while. Our bartender killed it, Eric was very personable and attentive. Matt, can't say enough good things about him and the bar. If you're in the area, this is a must try. Take a shot and have fun. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen too, unique and different. Give it a shot!!“
“This is a great bar to watch sports. There’s a bar inside and outside. TVs everywhere. Lots of seating. Endless tasty food options. Average pricing for a downtown bar. They also place a sign on the bar that says “order here/no standing” so that you always have room to walk up to order and get helped quickly - even when it’s incredibly busy.“
“Clean cool atmosphere. Mellow type vibes matched with some steak tacos that was om a special this evevening. The beer on tap Kona Big Wave. It reminded me of a sweet water 420. Which is a beer I like. The tacos were fresh and had the right amout of pico. Definitely a cool vibe.“
“Let me count the waysAmazing staff, so kind and loving. We were offered free drinks and did nothing to earn themAgua frescas made from fresh fruit in massive goblets. The best in AustinPastor tacos that will absolutely rival anything in San AntonioThis place is clearly run by folks who have a deep love and passion for what they do. Some of the best Mexican food in Austin I will swear to that. You are doing yourself a disservice not visiting them in favor of more “hip” taco places. Also they are open stupid late.“
“Food is always amazing! We love it here for the friendly environment and playground! But today was different.. we got there around 10:00 and let them know we had a big party ( 16 people) they said 11:00 would work.. well 11:00 came and they were very annoyed at us! Our tables were not ready until 11:39 and some people couldn't stay for lunch. The manager was very rude to us about the tables. We gave them ample time. We go to this location every week, but after this interaction I'm not sure anymore.“
“i left my card here and they returned it. it is too expensive for my liking (at my usual bar i get a deep eddys sweet tea with water and ice and a half shot of the peach for $5, but here i ordered 2, came in smaller glasses, and my total was $23!). but the bartenders are very beautiful kind sweet and fun, and i don't regret my time here. nice patio and fireplace areas. pinball machine runs not as well as it could, but it runs.“
“Chris' Miic -- stand up comedy by up and coming locals. Host Mike Hudak puts the sign up list out at 9:30 pm each Tuesday for the Open Mic. I love the community of young upstarts, pros who want to practice before another gig, regional comics hoping to make their big break, and even old blue haired ladies escaped from assisted living! (@DebbieDoesAustinbyWheelchair. ) They really need a ramp to the stage, but the ADA restrooms are great for @rollupcomedy (AMP #1 rule: Tip Stormy the bartender! She's awesome!!)“
“A friendly guide pointed me to his Aunt’s sports bar from before there was such a thing as sports bars. As a gringo from Pittsburgh with a soft spot for the wonderful culture of our southern neighbors fostered by time in Guadalajara, I really loved the friendliness and warmth of this East Austin landmark. Thank you!“
“Stopped by because I saw a sign that said cheapest drinks on 6th street. They weren’t lying at all. Went from paying $9 for a well drink to $2 on a Tuesday. Also saw some good live music from James Hearne. The bartender Michael was very nice and knowledgeable. Kept me entertained throughout the night.“
“I played a show here, It was pretty good! I didn't go to the bar but it seemed nice. There was plenty of room to the side of the stage and in front of the stage/the 'audience' area. The stage wasn't so big, but I didn't have a problem with bumping into people. I'm not sure who was in charge of the lights, if it was the venue or who I was with, but it made it hard to take pictures. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty good.“
“Wow, oh wow. During Spring Break, I flew a friend in as well as had some guests with me. First off-the walk-in presentation is STELLAR, as you can seat yourself at any booth or table that's available (a smart move for people that may hate waiter awkwardness or have social anxiety). The staff then take notice and bring you some menus when the time comes. At first when we got there, it was just me and my friend. We sat at a booth that could sit four, and before we could even get settled, the BEST SERVER LITERALLY EVER, Ryan, was on us like white on rice! He immediately introduced himself and asked if we wanted drinks. Now, about the food. They have a breakfast selection that will knock your socks off. The natural lighting perfectly compliments their hearty selection of waffles pancakes, and other breakfast faves. If you're a Austinite, or just a Texan in general, this is good to take Maw and Paw, or a couple buddies to get the sunlit day rolling. Us personally, I ordered a chicken and waffles, and a friend of mine ordered their FarmHouse Burger. They're not stingy with portions. They're not stingy with refills. They're not stingy with sauce/honey requests. (No, we didn't look like some sort of food reviewers, they had no reason to treat us nicely for corporate gain.) Ryan was awesome enough to give us a loooot of time for our guests to arrive so they could eat with us, even taking their orders pre-emptively so he could ask the chef to pull the trigger right before they arrived. He brought the food out in record time (kudos to the chef!), and the food arrived piping hot. This tells me they don't spend superficial time sitting under heating lamps, it's from grill to plate to table if they're on their game. The waffle was soft, fluffy, with slightly crunchy edges. The chicken admittedly could have been fried and crunchy a bit more, but I understand personal preference. All in all, it was amazing. The price didn't amount to much, it's about what you would spend for a family of orders at Dunkin', so. *shrug* RYAN, if you're reading this, thanks for the great attitude, dude. Reader, stop sitting there with a frown and an empty belly and GO EAT BREAKFAST HERE!“
“Every time I come home and visit from lubbock fast eddie’s is the place me and my cousins love to go there to catch up and the past few times i went Sam was our waitress and she was amazing! Would definitely keep asking for her everytime we go visit!! (:“
