“Wonderful people who make the best chopped bbq sandwich in the world. Melt in your mouth smokey deliciousness. Sides of potato salad and cole slaw were also delicious. Perfect pit stop on a long days drive. Wish we lived closer, but will now think about swinging by whenever we’re even remotely close. No pictures of food because after the first bite it disappeared quickly. But I did take a picture of the outside.“

“Amazing barbeque, straight from the pit and ordered by the pound. All the sides, corn, baked potato, potato salad, mac n cheese, fruit and pecan cobblers. Pinto beans, white bread, pickles and onions are free. Order too much to eat in one sitting? They supply lots of take out containers, foil and bags to pack up and go. Eating is at communal picnic tables. Staff is very friendly. We spent 60 bucks and got enough for 6 or 8 meals. It was packed with locals in a weekday, so you know it's good!“

“Alright here we go: First off, I was considering Cooper's BBQ place in Llano, but decided on Inman's BBQ instead, and by golly I'm glad I did. No disrepect intended for Cooper's, just glad I chose Inman's. Inman's BBQ turned out to be one of the best BBQ places I have eaten at. The brisket literally melts in your mouth, very delicious. Their signature turkey sausage is so, so good. Delicious! Pork tenderloin was amazing and the pork ribs my wife had was amazing. The mac and cheese is freaking amazing as well. Also, their customer service is truly first rate. Here's why: I accidently dropped my plate of food (thank God not my wifes lol) and Inman's BBQ staff were so helpful and just remade the plate I had that I dropped. My fault not theirs, so I could have easily been charged again. Awesome people with amazing food. If you love BBQ like me, (what real Texan doesn't) then stop by Inman's BBQ when you're in Llano, TX. They will not disappoint.Parking: Parking was easy no issues. Now if it gets super crowded, might make it a bit difficult. But nothing too crazy though.Kid-friendliness: Great kid friendly atmosphere. Were plenty of families with kids at Inman's BBQ.“

“Cooper's is worth the trip to Llano if only for the history. This place practically invented smoked brisket and they have the assortment of sides and desserts that are the envy of other Bar-B-Que places anywhere. The server opens the pit top and and shows you an assortment of meats you won't find anywhere else. Rib Eyes, Sirloins, Goat, Prime Rib and the Big Chop. The variety is so inviting I could spend days eating here. The cooked the brisket the way I expect perfect brisket to be smoked. I had been to Tumlinson's Rocky Top Bar-B-Que shortly before so I didn't go in with that unquenchable lust for barbecue. Which probably says a lot for Cooper's. I loved the food. We purchased brisket, pork ribs and burnt ends. We didn't get any sides but we did get peach cobbler and pecan cobbler. The desserts were top shelf. I only wished I had ice cream! What I didn't like about Cooper's was the atmosphere. No windows in the main dining room which was crowded so we followed the sign that said more seating outdoor. This didn't mean outdoors though. It was an even smaller, windowless room with no music playing and a weird affect that made us want to leave as soon as possible. Here is my comparison of Cooper's with Tumlinson's: We left Tumlinson's SmokyTop and went to Cooper's and as a comparison, I give the edge to Tumlinson's. The briskets were both in the same top echelon of what I expect a smoked brisket to be, but I think Tumlinson's was just slightly better. But where Tumlinson's crushes Cooper's is in the ambiance/atmosphere. Cooper's seating is indoor with no real outdoor tables. So you eat in a confined, windowless room that is not inviting. No music playing. Tumlinson's with no one else in it was memorable. I couldn't wait to get out of Cooper's. Felt a little creepy. Finally, Tumlinson's was selling brisket at $24 per pound while Cooper's was $26.99. This part is insignificant to me for the most part but there is a real price difference. Final verdict - Tumlinson's 5 out of 5. Cooper's 4.8 out of 5.“
