“Wonderful people who make the best chopped bbq sandwich in the world. Melt in your mouth smokey deliciousness. Sides of potato salad and cole slaw were also delicious. Perfect pit stop on a long days drive. Wish we lived closer, but will now think about swinging by whenever we’re even remotely close. No pictures of food because after the first bite it disappeared quickly. But I did take a picture of the outside.”
“We had a great time here!! Loved it. They have a great and varied selection of beers on draft. You're guaranteed to find something you like. The owner and staff are personable and friendly. They don't have a kitchen, so feel free to get a takeout pizza across the street at Gio's or barbecue at the famous Cooper's and bring it here to enjoy. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”
“Truly wonderful food. This husband and wife duo cook up some great Chinese food… In of all places, Llano Texas! You’ve got to try them!I had the steamed dumplings, a chef special and a drink for under 20 bucks. I will be back.”
“One of my top 10 places to eat in the United States!!! You have to stop here and grab a burger, and you’ll have enough leftover for a second meal too! So good!!!”
“Great Texas BBQ. You walk up to the pit where all the meat is and ask for a cut of multiple options. You go inside and your items are weighed and the price is calculated. Inside you can get your fixings and drinks. Tables are community style. Not a place to eat a fancy meal but if you are willing to share a bench with strangers and eat off of butcher paper the food is unbelievably good!Vegetarian options: NoneKid-friendliness: Yes.”
“We just got married at Ramblin Rose January 2024 and Grant and his team helped make the event a huge success!I have heard from so many of my guests that the food was amazing and one person said verbatium "that was the best BBQ I've ever had" and we had many people from Texas who eat a lot of BBQ so that statement is not to be taken lightly! Grant met with us multiple times through the planning process and put up with bride and parent of the bride anxiety questions :) The venue was amazing and exactly what I wanted for our wedding. Grant and his team are so easy to work with and we appreciate them so much! I bet many of our guests will pass through Llano now and make Inmans a must stop!”
“Probably the best chicken E I’ve been too! Man at the counter was very kind and was working hard cleaning windows/etc. Food was great!Vegetarian options: Cheese sticks, rolls, fries, mashed potatoes, etc. I’m sure they’re cooked on the same surfaces though. Recommended for lax vegetarians haha”
“We finished a hike at Enchanted Rock and this taco was exactly what we were looking for. I had egg, potato, bean and avocado on a corn tortilla while my husband had a meat taco with eggs. They were delicious. We ordered, sat in our car and enjoyed!”
“Very home cooking. Lots of tasty and made to order food with a very affordable price.I had the Carne Guisada - so tender!I also order some jalapeños, they cut fresh for me.They have Água de Horchata! So delicious!Strongly recommend this cozy restaurant.”
“Great place to grab a cold beer and get a bite to eat. Portions are a good size and the atmosphere is laid back. The Thursday night music bingo is really fun. Definitely recommend.”
“Cooper's is worth the trip to Llano if only for the history. This place practically invented smoked brisket and they have the assortment of sides and desserts that are the envy of other Bar-B-Que places anywhere. The server opens the pit top and and shows you an assortment of meats you won't find anywhere else. Rib Eyes, Sirloins, Goat, Prime Rib and the Big Chop. The variety is so inviting I could spend days eating here. The cooked the brisket the way I expect perfect brisket to be smoked. I had been to Tumlinson's Rocky Top Bar-B-Que shortly before so I didn't go in with that unquenchable lust for barbecue. Which probably says a lot for Cooper's. I loved the food. We purchased brisket, pork ribs and burnt ends. We didn't get any sides but we did get peach cobbler and pecan cobbler. The desserts were top shelf. I only wished I had ice cream! What I didn't like about Cooper's was the atmosphere. No windows in the main dining room which was crowded so we followed the sign that said more seating outdoor. This didn't mean outdoors though. It was an even smaller, windowless room with no music playing and a weird affect that made us want to leave as soon as possible. Here is my comparison of Cooper's with Tumlinson's: We left Tumlinson's SmokyTop and went to Cooper's and as a comparison, I give the edge to Tumlinson's. The briskets were both in the same top echelon of what I expect a smoked brisket to be, but I think Tumlinson's was just slightly better. But where Tumlinson's crushes Cooper's is in the ambiance/atmosphere. Cooper's seating is indoor with no real outdoor tables. So you eat in a confined, windowless room that is not inviting. No music playing. Tumlinson's with no one else in it was memorable. I couldn't wait to get out of Cooper's. Felt a little creepy. Finally, Tumlinson's was selling brisket at $24 per pound while Cooper's was $26.99. This part is insignificant to me for the most part but there is a real price difference. Final verdict - Tumlinson's 5 out of 5. Cooper's 4.8 out of 5.”
“Typical fast food restaurant operated by high school students. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The service was fast. The portions were appropriate. The service bar with the ingredients was neat and clean.”
“Yes, in this tiny little town, I had the best pizza I had for years. They do pizza right by heaps of cheese and toppings, not bread! While everyone else props their crust, the bread, Piccadilly Circus Pizza puts the focus where it should be, cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Delicious!”
“What can I say? It's Dairy Queen. My husband loves eating at Dairy Queen. I'll admit the chicken and dumplings are delicious. This Dairy Queen is consistent in service and cleanliness.”
“Staff was attentive as soon as we walked through the door. They were busy but quickly found us a table. We ordered the Supreme pizza and it was really good. Nice place.”
