J's is the best custard I've ever had. I recently moved to Lubbock and heard the fuss about J's and it is all warranted! Great service, excellent concretes and wonderful flavors. I bet this place does the business in July! And I'm happy to say that I will at J's in July and all the other months. DQ Blizzards don't even compare.
I just happened to be in the area paying a visit to my bank when, what's this? Ice cream just a walk away across the parking lot? And the sign says they've got salty Oreo, one of my most obscurely favorite ice cream flavors in the world? I'm in! Ever since moving here from a much larger city back east, there's been a hole in my heart where high quality, local ice cream once resided. Particularly where the aforementioned flavor once resided.
