“I came here on a work trip, though ive been here several times during college at ttu. the menu is huge, the atmosphere is perfeeeect for A texmex restaurant, and the staff was unbelievably patient with me when I needed them to look up a receipt from my visit so I could reimburse my meal through work. we played a bit of phone tag,but they were able to get me my receipt with a patience and consideration you really dont find often in restaurant hospitality anymore, it seems. kudos, and thank you! :D“

“Some of the very best Mexican food I've had anywhere. I'm upset I've been missing out on this place for years but I will definitely be back often. My wife and my son said exactly the same. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. This is one of the few places in Lubbock that has elote at all and it tastes fantastic. They also have a goot number of frescas (I think 7), most I've not seen anywhere else.“

Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“The closest thing to home (Mexico) I have found here. Had the tacos (tripa, asada, al pastor) and they were all so good!! Each has its unique flavor. My husband had the burrito, they let him try the al pastor and he immediately changed his order from asada to al pastor.
The salsas, green and spicy were so good too!

Flavorful, not too oily, filling, packed with meat, worth it! 100% do recommend.“

“I recently dined at Mi Taco Village and had the Chile Rellenos. While the dish was okay, the thick batter just wasn’t my personal preference. However, the service was absolutely outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. “I always love eating at Rosa's. The food is great quality and yet is still fast. Also you do not have to clean your own table even though it is a fast foot establishment. A great hot sauce bar with lots of choices. Real plates and great food, fast. What else could you ask for?“

“We live out of town and have enjoyed dining at Picoso’s when we are in Lubbock. The staff is always super friendly and courteous, and we’ve been very impressed with the food.

Our daughter graduated from Texas Tech in December, and we reached out to Picoso’s about catering a party we did that afternoon. Everything was fantastic! The delivery was prompt, and our guests commented how tender the meat was and how flavorful the food was!

I even received a follow-up from Katy, who helped coordinate things for our event, which I thought was so kind. I highly recommend Picoso’s for dining and catering—wonderful food and service!“

“Just ordered, the food is priced just how every other restaurant needs to be priced. So affordable, the service is very considerate and soft spoken.
