“My FAVORITE restaurant in Lubbock! I eat here multiple times a month and never ever have I been disappointed. Ordered the Ribeye De Gonzalez for the first time today and 🤤 that ribeye OH MY GOSH absolute PERFECTION!!! It comes with a lil salad, rice and a morocho bowl.. (I’d not had a morocho bowl before. What an exquisite mashup of flavors). Although this is more of a splurge meal for my personal budget, I will be splurging often 😅“

“For all the Lubbock OGs who were heartbroken when Raspados closed -- good news: this *is* Raspados! I confirmed with the family running it, and yes, it’s the same people behind the counter, serving up the same deliciously comforting tacos, tortas, elotes, and horchata you remember.

Sure, it’s tucked away in a little-rough-around-the-edges part of town, much like the original spot -- but honestly, what did you expect? You come here not because it's fancy, but because it's the best Mexican food in Lubbock. Go, eat, and leave with your belly feeling wonderful.“

“Picoso’s is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Being from the Houston area, I make it a point to come enjoy Picoso’s when I can. This time I ordered the Crispy Relleno. The queso and brisket was so good, it just melted in my mouth. The server was very attentive and super helpful. Another delicious visit.“

“The fiesta salad with steak is so good. The flavor of the steak is outstanding. It’s a little expensive, but so worth it every now and then. I forgot to request romaine, but they corrected it for me. The cashier at the window was very neutral. She didn’t say hi, bye, kiss my ass—nothing. I had to ask for salsa and forgot to ask for a fork and as usual—no napkins. The salad was superb except one piece of the lettuce core was present. If the food and service had been mediocre—I wouldn’t be too happy, but since the salad was delicious—I forgive little miss at the window.“

“I recently dined at Mi Taco Village and had the Chile Rellenos. While the dish was okay, the thick batter just wasn’t my personal preference. However, the service was absolutely outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. “2nd day in a row after coming yesterday with my friend for lunch. So delicious and reasonable prices. Service was great and friendly. I brought my better half for dinner tonight. He got the Buarria Tacos and I got the two beef tacos with rice and beans. Everything was seasoned to perfection IMO.“

“I LOVE Torchys BUT this location is always packed and loud because of the college. My order was not sent to the kitchen by the kiosk ( I personally dislike kiosks especially when there's workers standing there staring at you doing nothing) 😑 therefore my order had to be retaken by a human and confirmation I paid...thank God for instant bank app confirmations lol. The tacos are the best tho my hubby always gets the trashy trailer, I've tried them and also the shrimp baja and salmon ( mr orange) always awesome!“
