“My boys and I went to dinner at Albarran's Mexican Bar & Grill last night. We enjoyed the food and great service. There was a gentleman sitting right next to our table, we got there about the same time. He left right before we did. When I asked for our ticket the server said, sorry ma’am I forgot to tell you the guy that sat right there paid for your dinner. This stranger paid for our dinner! And I wanted to say thank you.“

“I’ve eaten at Anna’s Mexican Food for well over 25 years, and, for me, it is the Tex-Mex food on which all others are judged. The salsa is good, the quality of the food is always great, and the service is top notch. Also with their newest renovations it looks better than ever! I’m always down for some Anna’s!“

“We had the best experience for our daughter’s dinner for her graduation from Texas Tech . We made our reservation for our family . (30 people ) We talked to Katy who was very nice and helpful. She made everything easy for us . We asked her if the restaurant would allow a mariachi band for our dinner, and they did which made our dinner even more special, cause it was a surprise for our daughter. Our family had the best time.The food was amazing and delicious .The service was great as well . Our sever Tyree did an excellent job . She’s was patient with us cause it was a lot of us .“

“We went in when they opened, everything was sparkling clean, the workers were all super pleasant talk too. I had the cocktail de Cameroon. “If you’re looking for great food and a fun night out, check out Robles Taquería! They gave our large party outstanding service and were so accommodating from the moment we walked in. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed, which makes such a difference when you have a big group. The food was delicious and our servers were fantastic. They joked with us, kept us laughing, and really added to the fun atmosphere. And if the great food and service weren’t enough, they also have karaoke on Saturdays. So you can eat, laugh, and maybe show off your singing skills while you’re there! If you haven’t been to Robles Taquería yet, you’re missing out. Go visit!“

“Some of the very best Mexican food I've had anywhere. I'm upset I've been missing out on this place for years but I will definitely be back often. My wife and my son said exactly the same. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. This is one of the few places in Lubbock that has elote at all and it tastes fantastic. They also have a goot number of frescas (I think 7), most I've not seen anywhere else.“

“Just ordered, the food is priced just how every other restaurant needs to be priced. So affordable, the service is very considerate and soft spoken. “MY NEW REGULAR!!!! I had a basic chorizo and egg and it was really good BUT!!!!...the Migas Rancheras burritto blew me away. Had a lady up front where her only job is to make tortillas and she nails it. I can't wait to try some of the other items. The place was packed and thats when you know you should try it. They maybe should of had the a/c on but, that's my only gripe. Great job!!!“

“My family has eaten at the Lubbock location many times. The food has always been delicious and the service excellent. Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“The closest thing to home (Mexico) I have found here. Had the tacos (tripa, asada, al pastor) and they were all so good!! Each has its unique flavor. My husband had the burrito, they let him try the al pastor and he immediately changed his order from asada to al pastor.
The salsas, green and spicy were so good too!
Flavorful, not too oily, filling, packed with meat, worth it! 100% do recommend.“

“My husband and I moved from Lubbock 25 years ago and recently moved back.
Every restaurant we went to in the DFW area could never satisfy the taste I was always remembered from Taco Village.
THE BEST GREEN CHICKEN ENCHILADAS IN THE WORLD!!!!!
The Owner is Awesome and the young ladies are very nice as well. Wonderful experience and wonderful food.

“So Oxxo would not let me use their bathroom 🙄 that is off of 27th and Ave Q. This restaurant was open and allowed me to use the restroom and then I chose to get breakfast. I absolutely 💯 ♥ my breakfast 😋 it was perfect. Service was okay friendly probably because I had my bag with me and looked semi homeless after working an over night shift. Despite that their attitude got more friendly. Pancakes were awesome.“
