I ordered the chicken fried steak, and as someone who really loves CFS, I was disappointed. While the portion size was generous, the steak itself seemed to have been fried against the bottom of the pan, or set for a period of time on parchment to seal a thick, flat sheet of crust that was greasy rather than crispy. I had to add a lot of pepper just to get some flavor. The mashed potatoes were also bland. I will not be ordering anything that is fried on their menu.

Great food- Great People- Great Beer- Great place to make memories!!
My husband and I went last night and had the best time! When you go, ask for Trip. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was wonderful. The appetizers were amazing and he made sure to space out our main course so we wouldn’t be hit with all our food close together. The decor was adorable and we could’ve spent an hour walking around looking at everything. This is a go-to must when you’re in Lubbock!
