“I would give 4.5 stars if I could. We easily found close parking and enjoyed seeing the lovely lobby of the hotel complete with fresh flowers. The door of the restaurant is very nice and upscale. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our server arrived right away. Did you know that some of the staff here are students in the hospitality program at Tech. Our one disappointment of our meal was that we immersed ordered a grilled cheese for the toddler who was dining with us, but her food was not delivered until the grown up meals came. All of the food was cooked to perfection and delicious. For the quality of food, the pricing seems good.“

“Food = excellent Service = excellent Ambiance = amazing! I could not stop speaking out loud how amazing this place smells upon entering. The sight and smell of fresh baked goods are magnificent to behold especially first thing in the morning. I arrived just as cups of banana pudding were being filled, pecan pie being dished out sending cinnamon and vanilla scents wafting through the air. I has placed an order for chicken fried steak and egg breakfast to-go, but those wonderful smells convinced me to add a slice of butter chess pie AND Texas delight. Don't judge me!“

“Wonderful people, kind and understanding. We were slightly late, but they accommodated us in a nice and welcoming way. We had 6 and we were in a room with 6 other people. So, the noise level was very high for awhile. We were the last group to leave, but we never felt rushed and our service was excellent. The food was great, not a large menu, but all well prepared and very satisfying. Margaritas are great, but some of the other mixed drinks are a little stout!! Next time we will try the interesting wine list. Recommend the pork chop and the elk.“

“We were there for the Acropolis themed dinner. The food was good and quite yummy (although my husband did find his strawberry salad a bit frozen - we joked about having to re-check the menu to see if the salad was described as a crunchy strawberry salad. ?) The service was awesome! After she took my glass away for a refill, Natalie brought back a new straw for me. It's rare to get that from a “regular” restaurant, much less a student server. “My family has eaten at the Lubbock location many times. The food has always been delicious and the service excellent. Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“Had never been before and not a billiard person , but took out of town friends to check it out. Terrific service and drinks by Suede All the food was excellent. The cook cane out and asked us also. Guy takes pride in his dishes and it shows. Will definitely be back.“

“Have visited the new location on Quaker twice now. Both times they were not busy at all and still had to wait 30 minutes for my order. Not a place I'd recommend if you're short on time.“

“The pizza was great and who can say no to a pizza on Pie day for $3.14! The atmosphere is great and very family friendly. You can stop in for a great meal and a few beers with your friends or take the whole family to eat. Every member of the staff was nice and said hello with a smile. I'm definitely going back to Woody's.“

“Great meal. We had the chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani and a side of fries. It all tasted very fresh, the restaurant appeared clean and inviting. The fries almost had a sweet seasoning which was interesting and good. For places like this, I wish there was like a 4 or 6 or 8 person sampler that offered many small dishes - a little bit of everything. I'd like to try it all!“

“I went to Lubbock for a conference and picked up take out from this place. Surprisingly it may be the most authentic Indian food I've eaten. Parking outside is limited so I parked by the curb near the street. The furniture inside is well used, there was one other group eating who were clearly from India. I got the Murg Curry Shah Jahini which came in two Styrofoam coffee cups and was handed to me by an extremely nice Sikh man. It was not fancy but affordable and delicious. I would absolutely go again and eat inside next time, but also wouldn't hesitate to get take out.“

“The words I would like to use to describe Pooja's food will get me Zucked. That said, I have yet to be disappointed by her culinary prowess over the past year. Saffron & Spice brings a charming medley of warm, spicy Indian flavor that melds well with west Texas palates without being overwhelming. From the potato bhaji to her butter chicken, the aromas of her amazing food fill my car and I'm salivating by the time I get home and dig into each dish. I really enjoyed the chowli curry, the depth of flavor was incredible. This is the type of comfort food that I want when I'm getting over a cold - satiating, warm, comforting, and easy to eat. And the beef! Oh, the beef. My husband and I were fighting over the last bite of keema pav. I'm regularly watching the Saffron and Spice page for new foods debuting at Saturday pickup. Our home smells amazing around 12:45pm on Saturdays, thanks to Pooja.“

“I was visitng from out of town and decided to stop here for dinner. There are not a lot of restaurants that have vegan options but I knew Pei Wei was one! You can sub tofu and vegetables in for almost all of their menu items! I wish there were a few more vegan options for the appetizers but the vegetable spring rolls were pretty good.Vegetarian options: You can sub tofu and vegetables in almost any menu item!“

“I have really come to like this place for a quick fresh mexican fast food that is affordable and tasty. My favorite so far is the chicken quesadilla. The pico is fresh and the salsa is great as well. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.“

I love the way they make it no big chunks of meat (like the the one in Lamesa) Service is excellent they come by and check on you see if all is ok or if you need something. Ambience is peaceful. “I love Sprinkles!! I bring my daughter here all the time for a special treat and it has become a tradition for us. Lubbock is so lucky to have this gem of a spot!! Everyone I know is always excited to receive a Sprinkles cupcake! My personal favorites are red velvet, vegan red velvet, salted caramel, cinnamon, carrot cake, strawberry, and coconut (limited time).1. Menu: There are several choices and a constant rotation of new featured flavors. No explanation needed on classic flavors like strawberry and vanilla and a description is provided under the featured flavors.2. Accommodations: You can walk in, order online and pick up in store, order and have the cupcakes delivered, or purchase cupcakes from the 2 vending machines in town.3. Customer service: Excellent customer service! The gentleman working up front, Christian, is always so kind! He is very personable and truly makes our experience wonderful every time we’re walk in to Sprinkles. He is very genuine about his personal favorite flavors and what he recommends.4. Portions: The cupcakes are huge!! Much larger than other cupcakes spots around town. I have tried others and keep coming back to Sprinkles. When a ordering cupcake, you obviously want a large amount of frosting. Otherwise, I would buy a muffin. They do have a monthly mini sampler set with 3 featured flavors.5. Quality: The cupcakes are baked fresh daily in the morning. The cupcakes are rich and full of flavor. There are some flavors like strawberry that are sweeter and vanilla that is milder.6. Cost: These are gourmet cupcakes that are large in size, and that is reflected in the price. The biggest downfall is that there is no bulk discount price. I do wish Sprinkles would offer a bulk discount.If you are thinking about trying this place, I would give it a shot.“

“This place was designed well - even has a fireplace, how cozy is that. Farmhouse furniture. The did was great, I had a half a French dip and potato soup. Delicious. My friend has a quiche which looked amazing.Place was clean. Oh we went on eclipse day and they gave us special glasses that we didn't burn our eyes looking at the sun lol. The desserts hair look amazing. I'll be back for those very soon.“

“The menu has literally anything you could want!! I had the spicy penne in the vodka sauce with meatballs. The meatballs were amazing! Everything was actually amazing!! We even made friends with the manager over my shirt and the table next to us. The baby at the table next to was trying cheesecake for the first time!! It was so much fun! Yes this restaurant is family friendly but in all honesty it’s rated E for everyone!! The meatloaf is good too and the table next to me ordered the egg roll sampler thing n it looked amazing!!! I can’t remember my servers name but he was amazing too!!
