“Hospitality is very important in Greek culture and it definitely shows in how they treat their guests. The restaurant itself is warm, clean, and inviting and the waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. I must confess that Greek food is not my favorite cuisine, but I had the chicken gyro which was quite tasty. Pricing is reasonable and the food was quick enough that you can definitely just swing in for a quick lunch. The dog friendly patio looks spacious and welcoming. The only downside I can see is that it’s easy to overlook this gem if you’re not specifically looking for it. I hope these good folks get discovered by more people so their business can grow and thrive.Kid-friendliness: Very wholesome family atmosphere“

Love's Kitchen ATX Lounges • $
N Lamar Blvd, Austin - 8.45 miles

“If you're looking for a REAL wine bar in Austin with wonderful choices of exceptional and unusual wines and complimentary cuisine in perfect pairings - Aviary is the place. The staff were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and obviously loved where they work. Each main dish and salad were fresh, perfectly prepared, flavorfully creative and very delicious. I've got to say, don't miss the amazing Tulsi and Thai basil ice cream with the olive oil cake for dessert. The Palo Santo ice cream was also quite a unique treat, but the serving could've been bigger to share. Charmng, colorful, upbeat, non pretentious, moderately quiet with good acoustics thoughout so we could enjoy our conversation without raising our voices. Thank you Aviary for making our celebration special.A great experience!“

“This was my first time at a Vino Volvo and I have been sleeping on an airport experience. The champagne flights were delicious, but even better is we got a "bread refill" without having to order a charcuterie board for ONE DOLLAR. Cute, not too crowded, and the perfect stop before your flight (or a five hour delay).“

Vino Volo Hill Country Wine Bar • $$
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, 3600 Presidential Blvd Gate 8, Austin - 11.54 miles

“Had an hour to kill before a flight, and I opted to try the little in-airport wine bar Vino Volo. I had the Brie & Prosciutto sandwich with melted brie, arugula, and fig jam on toasted ciabatta (with a side arugula salad). It was truly delicious, flavorful, and hit the spot. I paired it with a glass of a German Riesling which I think was a great choice. It was so nice to enjoy a little bit of delicious food/wine before a flight, something light that I won't regret an hour from now when I'm packed into an oversold flight.“
