Crab cakes best we’ve ever had, scallops melted in our mouth and the orange roughy baked in clay was so full of flavour. “The service is always amazing. Friendly staff, but the coup de gras and is of course the food! I had the 1/2 biscuit and gravy order (it's a really big biscuit(!), with tons of sausage and delicious gravy. That was plenty to share with those with a smaller appetite like me. But you should never, and I mean NEVER miss out on the muffins - especially the Hawaiian ones!!! The owners are amazing and even held an order for me after hours when I was running late. “Their food and service is top tier. Only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 star is that my favorite item was removed. Their beyond burger was the best and I was glad to finally have a nice place to eat out that offered a great option for me. I know they replaced it with a veggie burger but it’s not even close to being what the beyond burger was. I’ve tried some of the other vegan options but nothing could compare. Another thing is that at peak time between all the people and the loud music it can be very hard to hear both the people you’re with and the server. However that being said food was always fantastic and service was amazing.Vegetarian options: They have a lot to offer for vegetarians and have clearly labeled menus for restrictions. Same for vegans we are capable of having a good meal here. I will say however their normal buns are not vegan so you have to sub out for their gluten free one which is not the greatest so I’d recommend bringing a bun if you want a better bun option.Dietary restrictions: They have a very detailed area warning of common allergens and have separate menus for vegans/vegetarians/gluten free people.“

“My friend and I came to Bodega today to try out their brunch menu. They’ve changed their selections since the last time I came, and everything they offered looked so good, it was hard to choose! Luckily, our server, Nathan, gave excellent recommendations for apps, meals, and even dessert! The coleslaw and macaroni sides were very good. The El Pastor Wrap is very good. And there’s lots of it. The only reasons I didn’t give five stars are:The grill was too hot and burned stripes on the chicken. Once I got that scraped off, minor effort, the chicken wrap was great.The napkins are starched too stiff. It’s like wiping your face with cardboard. “I try to come to the jazz event stuff. It's really nice listening to the live music in the outside area. The burgers we had here were great. The chips with cheese on the other hand weren't that good. I wouldn't get those again for sure. Last time we were here I got a fly in my beer still full glass. And the manager said that if I wanted a new one, that I would have to pay for a new one. Which dulled the experience a bit not gonna lie but the server was so nice for giving us coasters to cover the drinks after that. That was pretty sweet of her. Her service was the best.“

“This is the place to be on Sunday nights in the valley. No other establishments across the valley can rival it. It's beyond lively with the amount of patrons. However, majority don't show up till midnight or slightly later. Meanwhile, the service at the bar is hit or miss. Possible favoritism with certain people but that is also any bar. Like it's packed, but not Friday/Saturday slammed. Additionally, they include a 20% gratitude. Maybe fellow patrons were being cheap? Idk. For the record, I have yet to eat there. Does have a decent amount of high tables and some booths however.“

“A group of friends and myself visited IHOP about 9:30pm. It was about 12 in our party. The seating was not an issue, and we were seated comfortably by our waiter. Everyone ordered and our drinks and food came out hot and at a reasonable time. I especially want to commend this particular IHOP for their very clean and fresh smelling men's restroom. A clean restroom says alot about the restaurant. Kudos!I do have one suggestion that I think needs to be noted. When there is a large group, the waiter or waitress should do their best to separate grouped tickets. Placing all item on one ticket can pose a problem, especiallywhenthecustomerask fir everything to be put on separate tickets. In my experience visit, I was the last to pay for my meal. The employee noticed that there was still a meal that wasn't paid. I didn't have to pay it nor was I obligated to do so, but I did so because these were my friends, I know it wasn't done intentionally and I didn't want IHOP to get shorted either. Clearly it was an oversight, but this is what happens when everything is put on one ticket, not all the time but it can happen, someone gets stuck paying for something they didn't order. Good beginning experience but a sour ending.“

The 3 of us were discussing the topic of Mother's Day being just around the corner and Lupita shared she had two daughters and I said it would be a blessing for her to share the special day with her children.
