“It is a delight to have Countryside Cafe in Little Mexia! Their food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. You won't find a better chicken fried steak than theirs anywhere! If you haven't eaten there you have missed out.”

I like the hospitality but as far as food goes I never leave stuffed and end up overpaying. It's a nice dinner for a small town with nothing to do. The coffee is unlimited but the cups are small. The menue has no images. & the French toast is flat, but delicious.

Parking: Just make the biscuits and gravy available after breakfast please. You would make a lot more money and a lot of people happy.

Kid-friendliness: They have a gumball machine and nice smiles.”

“Oh so yummy! Worth a trip to Mexia if you find yourself in the area. We had the sliced beef sandwich and it was amazing...and then we had the peach cobbler and that was exceptional! Do not miss the peach cobbler! Nice folks, fast service, great prices.”

“Wow! We just spent the eclipse at Laura and Victor’s Honey Hole and it was perfect! First of all, they are 2 fine folks - friendly and fun. Beer was good and cold - didn’t get to try their food but I’ll bet it’s great. This place has a fantastic outdoor covered patio & bar and inside it’s roomy and cozy filled with all kinds of interesting things, including Laura’s ‘tins’ - especially liked the permanent band One Last Heartbeat?. Would love to go back some Friday or Saturday! Thanks again, Victor and Laura for the excellent company and a great place to watch the eclipse!”

“This establishment is BY FAR my favorite Buffet-style restaurant ANYWHERE!! I’ve eaten Asian food in different states for decades. I’ve eaten in L.A.’s and Houston’s Chinatown areas. I’ve eaten Sushi in Toronto Canada. Enjoyed Asian buffets in Las Vegas also. So when I state that GRAND BUFFET is the best. I don’t say that lightly. My goodness! The variety is staggering and everything is served at temperature and appealing to the eye. From cold foods, salads, sushi, hot dishes, and desserts , I guarantee you’ll love everything you try. This is my second time here and it is as good if not better than my first visit”

“I've eaten lots of Whataburgers all over texas. This was THE BEST hamburger I've ever had. It was hot, delicious , and all fresh!!! I usually don't finish the regular burger because they're big, but I ate every bite at this location! And I didn't think I was that hungry when we stopped. So good and so glad we stopped to eat at this particular location!! I give it 10 STARS!!!!@”
