“I’ve been here a few times now. The service is always pretty good. I like the atmosphere. Their decor is nice, I like their light fixtures, and the bar/sushi prep station looks nice. The chips that they give upon seating is really cool, never seen another sushi place do that. Their miso soup is the most Mid soup I’ve ever had, I don’t understand the reviews that praise the miso soup, it’s not good. The sushi however is quite good. Most often when coming here my girlfriend and I will get a special roll each, and sometimes a regular roll to split, usually that’s plenty of food for the both of us without breaking the bank. Of the special rolls some of our favorites are the Texas roll, dynamite roll, and dancing eel roll. All of which are tasty, filling, and presented well.”

“We had an amazing experience at Penn to Paper! The brisket nachos were incredible—tender, smoky brisket piled on crispy chips with all the right toppings. Each bite was packed with flavor! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back and try more delicious dishes!”

“I decided to try the new location, which was super busy. I was happy that chips and salsa were almost immediately placed in the table. The nachos I had were fabulous and a good size. The staff was appropriately attentive BUT I did have to specifically request Jalapeños for my nachos and lemon for my tea….at a place named Jalapeño Lemon Pepper I expected better ;-) Absolutely recommend this place!”

“This is one of the best chicken salad restaurants I have tried. Poblano soup is excellent. I visit this location when in Midlothian. If you want a sandwich shop this is your spot. Every order with soup and sandwich gets a special cookie.”

“We have been meaning to stop by here for years. We finally did. The chicken tacos were good but a but bland. I really liked the beans. Indoor seating would be really nice. The food took a while to come out, but it was hot and homemade, so that was great.

Kid-friendliness: Not really. There are a couple of outdoor tables. That's it.”

“This is a restaurant inside of a gas station. Food here is good. Service is always quick and courteous. The brisket tacos are pretty awesome. A step above for sure with the smoked brisket. They also have a loaded baked potato (done chophouse style w/ smoked meat and baked beans, etc.) that will leave you stuffed if you can eat it all. Great place to eat.”

“This is probably the best chik fil a experience I have ever received. Workers welcomed us in, checked on us multiple times, and even walked us out to our car with an umbrella when we were leaving. Atmosphere was great as well!!”

“Went on a Friday night, and they were out of baked potatoes before 7 pm. The steak was a bit overcooked, and the chicken fried steak was piping hot and tasted good, little salty for my taste, still good”

“Great dining experience. Only 1 complaint very minor complaint, the waitress was a little slow to refill the drinks. I had the stuffed shrimp that comes with crab in it. Absolutely delicious. Same with the bruschetta we had as an appetizer. The food was fresh and the flavors were very balanced. Loved the atmosphere. If I could give them a 4.8 star rating I would. Only 1 very minor thing.”

“Burgers are made as/after you order them so get comfy because this isn't McDonald's. Food is great though and fries and onion rings were tasty.

One of the bathrooms was out of order and the fallback bathroom had a bad lock so while that didn't effect the taste of the food, we were mildly miffed.”

While placing our sandwich orders, Devin remained patient, yet engaged. He was very thorough, and he took time to understand our needs and the importance of certain requests made (food allergies, etc.).

His communication was impeccable. Devin went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional and rememberable experience to me and my family, and he did just that.

“The absolute best. I made the mistake of ordering desserts from a local bakery who canceled my order without warning the day before I was hosting a baby shower. I contacted Sweet B’s in a panic and she swept in and saved the day. We had a red velvet cake that was beautiful and delicious. We also had decorated sugar cookies that were the best I’ve ever eaten. Also, she has so many flavors to choose from- I didn’t even know that was an option based on other bakers! I had so many compliments at the shower for these desserts. The cake and cookies she designed to match the shower theme and invitation. I cannot thank her enough for delivering on such a short time notice and for being so responsive. The only thing that beats the taste of her desserts is her customer service. I will be ordering more in the future, she is now my go to person!”

“Had a issue of having to reschedule a cake and when I went to pick up,they thought I had the wrong store. They couldn’t find the ticket for it and looked all over. they called the Bakery Manager,Heath who was EXCELLENT. He made sure I was taken care of immediately and making it possible to walk out with a cake as soon as possible. Him and his team were on it and absolutely took care of us today,they made my daughter a very happy girl with her beautifully decorated princess cake. ❤️ Thank you to those to helped make today easier on this very stressed Momma! “This is a fairly new location. The service was good for sure. The food is always hot ? and fresh. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and was friendly. So far, all the waffle houses I have visited have been very good and clean. The employees seem to be happy for the most part. I will go back there again someday. God bless”
