“Came here for Kenyan Embassy DC ID/Passport event. The atmosphere is really great, thank you to Owner Laban Opande for hosting the embassy for Kenyans in diaspora to meet our ID/Passport needs. The restaurant/kitchen opened earlier than usual to offer breakfast for Kenyans who came for official business. Over all, a well coordinated, painless, actually joyful event. I'm truly grateful and will be back to Sugars. Thank you to embassy staff from DC and ?? and thank you volunteers for coordinating even as you needed services yourselves. Much Appreciated“
“The food was great. The people I spent my time with were better. The service started out amazing. However, our waiter kept forgetting stuff, but I understood it was a lot of us. They allowed us to add tables and chairs. I think it was a unique and pleasant experience. Honestly, Chillis is one of the most family friendly restaurants that I’ve ever been to. Also, the staff was pleasant. I didn’t since any attitudes from anyone.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids meal and on the back of the meal they have an activity page.“

“I was there on 5/13 with family to celebrate my birthday. service was excellent and food was good as usual. The big disappointment was finding out they don't have the crab and spinach enchiladas anymore, IMO that was the best dish they had.“
“Went here for brunch, it was 12pm and already packed. The Dj knew his mix. The staff was very friendly, the food could be better taste wise and serving warm food scores you higher points ?NOTE: do the valet parking, because parking anywhere else will get your car towed, it’s a kind of business in that area saying this from experience.“
“This place is cool but do not park in the parking lot across the street. Apparently There is a guy that owns a towing company and he waits for people to park and walk to clarkwood. He drives the white truck. His employee drives the red Mazda. They communicate with a tow truck driver“
“This is my go to spot for when I don’t feel like doing work at a coffee shop. I usually just sit at the bar. Lily, my bartender was great! While I’m working I really appreciated her keeping the area tidy. The drinks were fantastic and the food came out fast. Go check out Flight Club!“
