I have never been to this restaurant and now I am obsessed!! I ordered half a sandwich and half a potato and still got an entire potato! But I understand that the full size ones are enormous. The chicken tortilla soup is wonderful and the ham and cheese sandwich was really really good. The "cherry on the top" was the sweet tea. Yummy and just the right amount of sweetness and the prices were good too.
The lot the restaurant sits on is small! Parking is tight. The restaurant is very clean and quiet. First time going wasn't sure how it worked. They did have a drink machine but it was out of service so they were doing the drinks. Once you order they will give you a number you put on the card holder and they will bring your dishes out to you. It's more of sit in than what I would have thought. McAlister’s is definitely a great place to get lunch. They have good food and a great atmosphere. We had a work lunch here and were able to easily find seating for 10. They had decorated for Christmas and it was very well done.
