“Visited Gruene Coffee Haus today and enjoyed my lunch consisting of a warmed chocolate laced chocolate chip muffin and a medium latte with a heart beautifully and artistically topping it. It was so pretty I had to take a photo of it and the muffin.Outside of the building they have a huge George Strait work of art.They have inside and outside seating.I enjoyed my lunch and talking with the staff.I met Jordan, who is their manager, and spoke with her about my delightful lunch and some of their upcoming fun specials.Check it out. “I visited this place to introduce two young ladies to Boba tea. It was a gem of a find. I wanted to try something new but I stuck to my favorite flavor. Can't go wrong with avocado and coconut..yum. “Went early, before the normal hustle & bustle. Breakfast sandwich was great but not memorable. Exactly what you want when breakfast is more about the coffee ?. Coffee (black) was good enough to drink even cool (an important litmus test). I'd love to give five stars on the atmosphere, it deserves it. BUT as we sat outside enjoying the quaint New Braunfels City center we were assulted (not really) by a leaf blower, street sweeper, increasingly aggressive drivers navigating the oval at ridiculous speeds and an unwelcome seasoning (dust) from same. Yeah, we could've sat inside...but darn it, the cafe front looked so inviting. Ugh. PS the peeps serving us were terrific.“
