“I've been ordering from this location since they opened - till now, they haven't missed giving me delicious pizza. I can’t say for others, but in my opinion, this location is pretty steady in delivering great pizza. Service is good; overall, I would recommend this location.“

“On a whim, got DoorDash to order a couple of subs for dinner. OMG. Not going anywhere else ( unless they royally mess up, which I doubt). Have had the meatball Parmesan sub and the chicken Parmesan sub. Meatballs were delicious, great bread, the chicken cutlets were THIN, breaded exceptionally and the sauce and mozzarella made it great. Will go back again and again.“

“Food was good, service was good. When we got the bill, I questioned $12.75 for a beer and I had 2. I was told it was an IPA. Nowhere on the menu was any beer listed at $12.75. We didn't see it priced anywhere in the restaurant either. When our waitress went to talk to someone about it, someone they were speaking with are a smart sarcastic remark about us. It was such a turn off.“

“Got a staff meal a couple weeks back for the local Fuzzy’s. I’ll tell ya, I’ve been management at papa John, Marcos, papa Murphy’s, Pizza Hut, and godfathers…. Jets is still the best pizzas you can get. That deep dish ?. And this new location seems to be flawless!“

“I recently tried the Indian flavored pizza(house special paneer pizza)at this place, and it was incredible! I also loved that they offer the option to bake two different types, perfect for sharing or trying multiple flavors in one sitting. “Vibrant interiors and great pasta!We really enjoyed the “Rasta Pasta”! The pepperoni pizza was also good, but was a tad bit small!Parking can be a bit hard to find since it is located in historic downtown Denton.Service was good, but a bit slow.They do not have any high chairs or booster seats! One family next to us was struggling with their toddler. Not very kid friendly, I’d say!“

“Very delicious margherita pizza and penne with vodka sauce. The kiddo and fiance loved it. Our server Chris was amazing. Very attentive to us and recommended us our choices. Will definitely return. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior. It's very pretty and spacious inside. It's beautiful.“

“I have eaten at Giro numerous times, including their awesome wine dinners. I have never left a review until now. We contacted Diego’s Deli (if you have not visited the deli in the back of the restaurant, you are missing out) to prepare charcuterie boards for an important family gathering. We told them we would pick them up at 5pm on Saturday. I called them on Friday at noon and asked if we could pick them up at 11am on Saturday, 6 hours earlier than I originally indicated. They said no problem and did it with a smile. The charcuterie boards were a hit at the patty - delicious, beautiful presentation and the accompanying focaccia bread and dips were enjoyed by all. Thank you Giro and Diego’s Deli!“

“Heritage is a must-try when you're in the Colony. It makes me sad that it's not in the "heart" of the Grandscape area because they deserve all the business. The pizza is delicious- both their unique combinations and the ones I've customized. They even have a fun Pizza Party option where they feed 10 people all on one pizza. It was a ton of fun!“

“This is the former Rotolo's location, for those familiar with the area. Decor is contemporary - white tile and MANY tv screens on the walls, concrete floor. This is, for lunch at least, self service. The salad bar is solid, with the typical selection of fresh ingredients. The pizza is better than average, with a generous helping of quality toppings and plenty's of cheese. The crust is the only element that is lacking, being thin and a little chewy. Overall, a good lunch pizza buffet - definitely better than Cici's, similar to Double Dave's, not quite as good as Mama's in Plano.“

“This was the first time ordering from Simple Simon’s. Hands down the best pizza we have had in a very long time. The crust and toppings were amazing! The wings and cheese sticks equally great! “It was great! I went in on a Sunday afternoon, I've never had anything from here before. I'm pretty picky about my pizza. I got the king combo, with the thin crust, it was really a well-made pizza. I will definitely go there again. And somehow the person buying me the pizza, talked me into trying some cheesecake, it was fabulous. Everything was reasonably priced also. Kind of a rare thing these days.“

People were so friendly and attentive.You know that pizza where you take a bite and it makes you want to take another bite and then you finish a piece and you want to start another piece and each bite tastes so good you wanna take another bite and if you had no self-control, you would eat the whole damn thing. “We had pizza which was very good if you like thin crust. They do not have an option for a thick crust. Since we like the thick crust I gave them a three on the food. I think if you like thin crust you would probably give it a four or five. Very friendly staff and service is good.“

“Italian fast food is absolutely delicious at Italia Express located in the food court at Golden Triangle Mall. I heard people discussing thehuge pizza slices as I was shopping around. I decided to try it and got a chicken, tomato, spinach Stromboli. What an amazing flavor combination. The kitchen chefs came out to see how we liked the food. A man was picking up a huge take-out pizza for his boss. He said they've been getting pizza there for over 5 years.Excellent! Highly recommend!“

“Ingredients tasted really fresh and dough was made fresh in house. Really solid tavern style pizza with a thin crispy crust. Sauce was a little under seasoned but nothing a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and parm doesn’t fix.The atmosphere is really cute and family friendly. I love that it is BYOB!“

“Over all I had a good experience, it was good friday- night, my wife and I were part of a party of 11. The tvs are so loud we had to basicly yell across the tables to converse. Our waitress seemed like she had too many other tables at once, she appeared to want to give her best efforts but wasn't able to. I did like the food, I had the guac bacon burger, it was pretty decent. My wife had the Philly cheesesteak and it was also decent, although the cheese was strange, not really Philly style. The price point wasn't terrible for what we got. Though I don't think I would go back any time soon.“

“This place is close to my work so I decided to give it a try for lunch. It is very small on the inside and they have canned beverages. The pizza is really good and they usually have fresh Parmesan cheese for it. I have gone back since the first time so I know they are consistent. The staff is friendly and makes sure you are taken care of if you decide to eat in the store. I will be back.“

“Delicious pizza especially the indian flavors. We got the chicken tikka and paneer tikka pizza. We never feel stuffed after eating their pizza. Pizza is also not chewy as compared to other places. Very good dough and toppings. We always get a takeout from them. This time we dined in and eating the freshly made pizza was worth it. Good job guys. It was also not super crowded so we got a seat immediately which we like.“

“575 is one of our favorite spots and we recommend it to everyone we know! Especially to support local business that has one of the best customer service experiences. “Open seating on a Saturday evening. Menus and silverware were brought to our table shortly after we sat down. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly. They have coke products which to me is always a win but it had a strange taste like the lines are dirty or something is soapy so I switched to sweet tea. They also do not have angel hair or thin spaghetti pasta available. Lasagna was pretty good. Kids portions are pretty significant.“

Yes, the entrance is rather interesting and the parking area has something to be desired. Is an old strip mall. But once you get inside, it is a cozy family restaurant with the owner Syd and I think his brother Syd running the place. Who cares about the decor and table cloths if the food is good!The food was amazing and was really prepared fresh to order. I was debating between the beef and sausage so they offered to combine them. They also combined the meatballs and the meat sauce for my GF. The serve was very personable and I can see where some get offended because you have to engage them as they are trying to manage the tables and cook.We spoke to them after quite a bit, and they recommended reservations because it's only the two of them. And they want to make sure they can take care of everyone who they seat so if there's empty seats. It does not necessarily mean that they have an open table , I told him we'd be back and he recommended we call for a reservation so they save us a spot to make sure that they can serve us well. This is not some chain store and they know they have good food and will take care of the ones who show them the same respect.I highly recommend this place and those who don't appreciate it as someone said they can go someplace else...“

“Not only do I have their Pizza, I do like their Salad. They have all the components that I like to eat. Thank you Cici's! One more thing, don't be afraid to ask for a particular pizza. My favorite thing to ask for is the cinnamon rolls, wait for it, without icing. I know that sounds crazy but the buttery flavor just taste so good.“

“This place is good! Two of the biggest factor of what makes a pizza good is the dough and sauce and this place nailed it. I'm normally not a veggie pizza person but it looked really good in a picture. It was so good that it was gone before the pepperoni. Its Pricer than the chain pizza stores but they have a special 2 pizzas and garlic bread for $40 which is not too bad. If they had more promotions like dominos or pizza hut, there would be a line out the door.“

“I'm a native Texan, but I lived in Phoenix for a while. I got spoiled there, because there is a few different Famous Rays New York style pizza. Only downside was price, it was about $65 for the three of us to get a drink (Italian cream soda ?) and an entree. “CEC, is just CEC.However, this time was different. Since COVID, mediocre service is standard even in tipping environments. We came to this CEC the first weekend in March and had a relatively normal experience. The stand-out was the service, this time. There was a young lady by the name of Ava who HUSTLED. We weren’t with a party and just enjoying family time so we weren’t assigned an attendant, but she took care of the ‘normal tables’ as if she was working for tips. She was constantly at our table making sure trash was removed and when we had leftovers she took the time to box it up for us. She was incredibly attentive and stayed on top of bussing the tables.You can’t teach work ethic, and she’s got it. I hope CEC recognizes this outstanding young lady.“

Lots of tables and booths plus you could sit at the bar if you choose. The garlic knots are a great way to start. The pasta dishes are quite large and they don't skimp as are the salads. Whenever I go, which is odd hours, it's usually not too crowded. The TVs are playing sports and there will be a few locals scattered about. This has been my new go to for Italian of late and I certainly recommend to others. There's always plenty of parking.“

“I've only tried this place twice, but I really like what I tried. Chicken Parmigiano with spaghetti and the lasagna are highly recommended. I'm not used to marinara sauce that's so perfect. Not one pinch of salt or pepper did I have to add to the food. It was so flavorful. Perfectly cooked pasta. This place tucked away in a shopping center in The Colony is worth the trip.“

“Their pizza is a tasty pie but it is on the expensive side. Pizza is consistent with a great crust every time. I’ve tried the meat pizza, The Don, and London bridge (I think is what it’s called). I wish pizzas had more toppings so I add them. It is a great pizza. At a $40 price point, I continue to search for the best pizza.“

“I wasn’t aware that right in my backyard was a pizzeria called MOD Pizza, and you could go in and craft your own pizzas right on the spot, similar to how you do your sandwiches at Subway. Great place to take the kids, so they can select their own toppings, and watch their pizzas being prepared. Not expensive if you have a larger family. I hadn’t had cream soda in a while, so that made for a great addition as well. Next time I will do better to REALLY build it up, but the small pizza I crafted was definitely delicious. “We love Mellow Mushroom and always make a point to stop by whatever location that is near to where we are at or going. This location we have been to twice when traveling to Dallas from Oklahoma and the pizza is always great! The service this last time we were here was really slow. “I really like many things about the homemade flavor of the ingredients on their pizza and dough and delicious caesar salad. It could be improved with consistency of crust...there is a huge variation in how thick or thin it is and whether it is cooked throughout, or not. Young staff in evenings seem to care more about visiting on their phones than care with orders and thoughtful hygiene when texting on phones and then handling food, friends who are hanging out at the restaurant, and even had lights turned out a couple of times when it was far from closing time. Also inconsistent if bread and olive oil are included with salads. Might be time for management to drop in a little in the evening.“
