“Shot out to FRANK the chef. I drive a semi truck ?. It's hard to park and eat where you want. They have a small spot for truck parking by the fuel lanes. I was so hungry at 1 AM in the morning. They were almost out of Carne Guisada. Frank got me some fresh from the back. It tasted really good. I was finally full and not falling asleep.It's a good spot to eat late night.”

“This was a good stop. The food was reliable, fresh, not frozen. The Avocado salad was very good and large enough for two. I had heard great things about the food here which is why we made it a destination stop. Our group really seemed to enjoy what they'd ordered. “OMG, this place is so amazing! First time here and we got the 3rd wheel, family pack. It came with brisket, sausage, ribs, turkey and three sides (we got brisket beans, elotes and potato salad). I just got my braces tightened the day before and could not chew anything. But, all of the BBQ literally melted in your mouth, it was so soft!!! All of the sides were also delicious! This is by far the best BBQ my family and I have ever eaten!!! Definitely recommend!!!”

Brisket was delicious and so were the ribs. The pork was good just had spots that were kind of hard. Stole a piece of sausage from my wife's plate and it was ok. Potato salad was really good too. The thing that caught my attention the most was the bbq sauce. I'm not much of a sauce person and nothing on my plate needed it but it was really good finished my whole gravy cup.”

“I’m from Minnesota and was vacationing in SPI, TX. Being a Navy veteran and having served in Kingsville had an opportunity to meet an old Navy friend from Houston. Picked this place because of the reviews and both of us were very impressed with the food and service. We both drove 3hrs and I’d definitely do it again just for the food. The waitress explained how everything was made scratch and that knowing how things are made is just as important as bringing your food. Wish I could eat like a horse and try everything. Definitely make it on my list next time I’m in Texas!!!”
