“Went around 4pm. No customers. Food was a little overcooked, but good overall. Service was not as expected, had to go look for the waitress several times. We were the only customers there, so not sure why she was not coming around more often.“
“I can’t speak on the service cause I ordered through door dash as for the food yoooo in my opinion it was bomb tasted a lot better than the reviews claim to be. I got the family combo for three of us Aldults and one child but limme tell you we love food an this family package filled us up an still had 1-2 left over10/10 definitely recommend“

Our favorite waiter Erika is always attentive, knows what we like and how we like our food, never have an empty glass of our drink. “Drove from Houston to enjoy lunch here it’s a smaller place, but cozy and they accommodated our family of 10. The menu was not overwhelming at all and EVERYONE was so friendly. The prices were reasonable and food was so tasty. Would definitely return “
“On Friday I celebrated my birthday in the patio section of the place. Despite having a group of 30 people, the service was excellent, the food arrived quickly. The waiter and waitress were very attentive. The drinks were very delicious as well as the burger I ordered.There was a misunderstanding since when I confirmed my reservation I asked if there was a cost for bringing a cake and they told me no. When the bill arrived I realized that they had charged $10 for the cake I brought. Fortunately they waived the extra charge for the cake.“
“First off the tacos ? are amazingly delicious. The Bistec and Quesabirria are my favorite. However, I had to give 4 stars for service, not because it wasn't great service but because I asked our beautiful server if she knew what kind of thin tortillas the cooks use for the street tacos? She didnt know but she went to ask and the rude man said to her, thinking we couldn't hear him, "that is not a priority right now." So for that I'm giving 4 stars. For the guy in the back, she wasn't asking for the heck of it. A customer was inquiring and frankly the customer is and should be a priority!“
“Food was delicious and at a fair price. We were on vacation from Ohio and our hosts recommended Los Machetes. We were so happy they did! Our quesadillas were fantastic and the salsas that came with them added even more flavors. The presentation was fun & unique. Staff was helpful and super-friendly. They answered our questions and were (deservedly) proud of the food they offered. When we return to the LRGV we will definitely be returning to Los Machetes!“
“Start with the pastries you can’t go wrong.. tried the enchiladas suizas, the burger and the cochinita chilaquiles they were delicious and very well portioned. Pair it with the peach Bellini and vanilla latte .. would definitely come back“
“Manager Gabriela was very attentive and very professional. She came over to ask how our food was and if we needed anything else with a kind smile. She had her staff sing a happy birthday song for us. Great service and experience in this location. 5 stars.“
