“My son and I went here 10/6/23 and upon walking in the smell of cleanliness hit me! Smelled like lemon lysol! The place was spotless. The ladies and gentleman working greeted us and prepared our order with 5 minutes! The crew working on this day most definitely deserve raise!“
“HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS NOW, MY HUBBY N I LOVE THIS PLACE! THANKS BUNCHES MARIANO'S!Kid-friendliness: Kid-Friendliness, but it's more of an couple's date nite or lunch date idea! I hope this helps anyone who might want to make it happen. Have fun! ?“
“stopped here this morning and talked to the owner Chris, very cool guy and was good to talk to him. the burrito I got was absolutely freeking fire!! salsas were on point and paired literally perfect with the El patron burrito. 12 outa 10. If you drive by just stop its definitely worth it.“
“We've been here several times already. I ordered Tilapia Monte Fresca, which was grilled with a creamy sauce and shrimp on top. It was super delicious. The chili rellenos are good as well as fish or shrimp tacos. The bloody Mary's and Pina colada's are pretty good too.Parking: It's located in the shopping center with Tom Thumb so there's plenty of parking options.“
“I've heard good things about Gloria's but have never tried it myself. Today I decided to give it a go.From the outside, Gloria's looks like a fancy restaurant. Once you get inside, it's not too fancy. It's a nice casual restaurant, similar to what you'd find at a pho restaurant like Pho 95. They have outdoor patio table seating, indoor table seating, and bar seating with multiple flat screen TVs mounted on the wall playing sports. Our waitress was kind and courteous. The menus are nice. Prices are similar to what you'd find at a regular restaurant, it's not too pricy. The restaurant itself is clean and so is their bathroom. We ordered a frozen house margarita with a salt rim, a frozen mango margarita, the A la Gloria chicken enchilada, and the Tacos al Carbon with corn tortilla. We had complementary chips, salsa, and black beans. Let me tell you, for a free side, it's pretty good. The tortilla chips are good quality, not too thin, not too thick. They're crunchy. The salsa has just the right amount of kick to it, it's not too watery yet not too thick. The black beans surprised me. I'm not much of a black bean girl, I'll eat it but it's not my go to. The black bean dip tasted pretty good! It wasn't plain like your regular black bean. The A la Gloria was delicious! The chicken was nice, moist, and flavorful. My personal favorite was the queso, the red one, and then the orange one but only because I love queso. The rice was pretty good although you couldn't really taste much of it. The refried pinto beans are whatever. The Tacos al Carbon were amazing. The quality of the beef is superb. It was so flavorful, moist, just amazing. The additions to it with the guacamole and sauce added to it was just icing on the cake. The rice and beans that came with it were just like the ones on the A la Gloria enchiladas. They're nice sides but honestly not really needed. I wish they gave me more rice. The rice was barely anything. Both of the margaritas were strong. The house margarita was good. The mango margarita was like drinking a mango frozen smoothie but spiked with hella alcohol. My bill came out to be about $67 dollars for all four items. The waitress was nice enough to ask if I'd like to take home a side of salsa and black beans since she saw me take the chips to go.Definitely delicious. I would recommend. Portion sizes are just right but the chips and sides during the beginning definitely fill you up before the main course.“
“I’ve been to a lot of Fuzzzys, but this is my first time at this location . Lainie was my bartender and server, and she recommended the best fish taco to me. She also made my drink of choice that most bartenders cannot make right , and she did it perfectly. I was surprised by all the drink specials because I normally go to a restaurant nearby and Fuzzzys will now be my new spot!!!“
“For what I thought was going to be just another hole in the wall Mexican restaurant this place exceeded all expectations. Food was amazing, atmosphere inviting, service from Mario exceptional, and even the bathroom was nice and well maintained. Definitely coming back.“
“Great food, affordable price, good service. The chips are the thicker ones, great for dipping or loading up nachos but I usually prefer the thin style. Definitely not a deal breaker. I would recommend it if you are in the area! Wife had enchiladas and I had fajita nachos.“
“First time trying this location, but in true form - Blue Goose apparently never disappoints ANYWHERE! Our serve was wonderful; we went there immediately after I'd had a pretty invasive eye appointment nearby. It was between the "rushes", so I got the quiet and perfect consolation food I needed. I ALWAYS get the pork fajitas with tomatoes & mushrooms. Soooooo good! Also love the salsa, queso & tableside guacamole!“
“I went for dinner in Chuy"s located in Arlington Highlands yesterday with my family. We had a good time and great food. I want to recognize our waiter Clinton. He was very friendly, cheerful and provided us with great service. We had a youngman in our group, who is special need .Clinton was very patient with him. We greatly appreciate his service.“
“This may be the finest Abuelo’s in the metroplex. On this visit Megan was awesome. Everything was great and made to order. I was introduced to this restaurant in Lubbock,TX. I have fond memories of that location and this location doesn’t disappoint.“
“Beto's is our go-to Mexican restaurant. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh and yummy! Last night was the first night we picked up "to-go" order. Still very pleased with the food and presentation!Parking: Plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spaces right up front for those needing wheelchair access.“
“This is one of my favorite sit-down Mexican restaurants! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the food, portion sizes, and service is awesome! They have maintained a wonderful dining experience bucking the trend of many places to downscale. You feel like you've been out to dinner after dining there and it's anything but fast food! Hearty, satisfying, a great dining experience!“
“Well we only got a couple of margaritas and the guacamole appetizer but everything was very good. Unfortunately our waiters sort of forgot about us outside. As a vegan I have to say they probably have the best veggie fajitas around. Lots of vegetables! I've gotten it before not this time but did look at it again on the menu and their selection of vegetables for that fajita dish is one of the best.Vegetarian options: There's always cheese enchiladas spinach enchiladas of course nachos or vegetarian. Very limited on vegan items however. I often will just bring my own vegan sour cream and vegan cheese to complete a meal.“
“Based on my “the best Mexican restaurants have Mexican names” theory, I decided to have lunch here. I was a little surprised to see only one couple dining but I wanted to give them a chance. The staff was attentive and I was seated immediate. Chips and salsa soon arrived. The salads was very tasty but was not hot.I ordered the 3 street tacos plate with rice and beans. I would have liked to see more meat in the tacos. The food was good and I cleaned my plate. The waitress had brought out two salsas in squeeze bottles but they were watered down and were not good. The food was good and I would return to try something else.“
“If you love well-seasoned, delicious Tex-Mex food with a creative flair, then Torchy’s Tacos is definitely a must-visit when in Texas! My favorites are the “Mr. Orange” salmon taco and the “Brushfire” Jerk Chicken and mango taco!Vegetarian options: There is a friend avocado option for vegetarians/vegans and non-vegan toppings can be removed by request.“
“I judge Mexican restaurants on their rice and beans, then by the salsa. They are on point in all three. Their carnitas tacos are the best around. I usually am there for lunch and get the Mr. Mark's plate on the lunch menu. It's a cheese enchilada and a tamale. Get a carnitas taco on the side. I rarely give a 5 star review, but it is well deserved here.“
“(Translated by Google) It is a good restaurant, I recommend it, a good atmosphere, the place is very clean, the service is very friendly, the food is very tasty. I recommend it in Delicias Alcemara, you find the best creams and rich dishes(Original)Es un buen restaurante lo recomiendo un buen ambiente el lugar es muy limpio el servicio son muy amables la comida es muy rica ? lo recomiendo en Delicias Alcemara encuentras lo mejor de cremas y platicos ricos ?“
“Visited Pappasitos for Tex Mex lunch. Completely impressed with the authentic take on Burritos, cheese enchiladas, chicken fajitas. Their chips and salsa were a filler, and if you don't watch it - will fill you up before your course arrives. Good value for money!Vegetarian options: Limited options for Vegetarians.“
“Very good tacos. Al pastor is carved off the spinner al estilo CDMX... crispy and delicious. Barbacoa is very flavorful too although a little fatty for my taste. Comes with roasted onion, pineapple, and serrano as well as typical raw onion/cilantro. Also the green sauce is so good...will def order again. Thanks!“
“I came to the review section right away after having these Birria Tacos guys… they are a freaking game changer, the tacos themselves are so good, the consomé is amazing, Janelli at the counter was a treat, she’s so nice, I went back to Janelli and asked for all the cooks name because I felt they deserved some credit as well, a special thanks to Martha, Elsa & Marabelle for cooking, I tell all my buddies that the Rusty Taco birria tacos are the best but out of all the locations no one does it like Hurst/Grapevine location, they truly make the Rusty Taco experience amazing, I will come back many more times!Parking: They had plenty enough parking, no need to feel like you can’t find a spot to enjoy a meal!“
“This is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. Everything I have tried is delicious especially the tortilla soup with large amounts of vegetables and chicken. They have daily specials too. The best Tex Mex ever.Parking: I don't know how it would be after 6 perhaps there is parking in the back. The parking is mostly filled when I go before 6Wheelchair accessibility: There is accessibility“
“Shady part of town getting there being on Lancaster, but don't let that discourage you. THE best tamales I've ever had in my life and I'm a tamale/ Mexican food snob. Chips and salsa are on point and the corn tortillas are nothing like you've ever had before! Again, I'm a tamale snob and a Mexican food snob. You will NOT be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: Don't let the neighborhood discourage you. Very safe environment!“
“This place is a little gem! It's never packed and the food is absolutely delicious and made fresh right in front where you could see them cook. Overall, the place is great. The food reminds me of my grandma's cooking a little bit five stars all the “
“EAT HERE!! SOLID MEXICAN FOOD!!SURPRISED BY BEST HAMBURGER!!!I’ve eaten here many times over the years and Miguelito’s has always been a great dining experience. For what it is.Let me explainIt’s a family run business that’s been where it is for decades. The family takes pride in service and the food they offer and it’s obvious from the moment you sit down. In today’s apathetic server age it’s refreshing to be waited on with courtesy and a genuine feeling that you’re an important guest, not just someone who spends money. But it’s still just standard but above average quality Mexican food. The food isn’t fused, elevated or altered to try and created something new. Instead it’s just good and at a fair price. Other restaurants should take note (looking at YOU uncle Julio) that you can serve good portioned, quality food without charging upscale plate prices. My recommendation is to go eat here sooner rather than later. We never know how long experiences like this will be around. On a side note a guest in my party had the hamburger. I was offered to try some and it was one of the best flavored burgers I’ve had in a minute. Why? Simple flavors and high quality ground beef that didn’t have 10,000 spices added to it. Just, beefKid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff and a kids menus.“
“The food and drinks were delicious, but the service was extremely slow - they were not busy and were not understated…lots of people just standing around :( took 45+ minutes to get our food and drinks sat enjoy empty for more than 10 minutes and we had to shears ask for a refill. Total time at table was 1 hr 45 min for four meals (14 empty tables around us)Parking: Plenty of parking available :)Wheelchair accessibility: 6 handicap spots right up front!“
“My bestie wanted to eat Mexican food and it's been 9 years since I have had this place. My bestie thought we were going to a chain...nope...drove right past the chain and said wait until you taste this hole in the wall food place...AUTHENTIC, DELICIOUS, MADE FROM SCRATCH...He said it was delicious...I haven't been able to taste or smell for the last 2 years but my memories would not let me forget this place. He was very pleased. If you want authentic, made from the heart food, give this place your money! Will not disappoint!“
“Great place to meet a friend for lunch and networking. We were there a while and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit. They also have a nice room with several options for private parties up to 100 guests and even have live music some Fridays after 530pm. The manager Carlos is who to call for scheduling, he is awesome!Had the shrimp enchiladas with poblano sauce super good with a slight kick! (I forgot to take the pic, my bad, next time, tho!)“
“The food was really good. I lived fairly close to this restaurant and never thought about having dinner here. I was invited, and thank sweet 7lb baby Jesus! The food was great, service was awesome, tortillas tasted homemade, salsa was good, and the beers were cold. If you don't know, Now you know! So go!!! Stop reading this review and go now.“
“I've been a torch for Torchy's since they first opened. The staff, the food and the service have consistently been better than I expected. In The Highlands, my regular haunt, Stacia is my bartender. Mine! She is always attentive and friendly. They are all so cool. It's why I keep coming back. Oh! And I've been in their kitchen...very clean :)“
“Had a Beef Fajita Supreme burrito and it was fantastic. Beef had a wonderful flavor and it was wrapped up so nicely in a lightly grilled burrito. The endless chips and salsa tasted so fresh and the service was outstanding. Also I had the Jalapeno Margarita on the rocks and was not disappointed with it in the slightest. Will definitely come back“
“I recently dined at Mexican Inn restaurant that flawlessly blends TexMex flavors with top-notch customer service and a cozy atmosphere. The warm hospitality and attentive staff set the tone for a delightful experience. The flavorful TexMex dishes and quick drink refills added to the positive vibe. The lack of crowd meant we were seated immediately, enhancing the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I'll definitely revisit for more delicious TexMex dishes.“
“Great Mexican music played in the background and comfy chairs. Beef enchiladas weren't my fave but the beef taco, the chicken enchiladas and the chips, salsa, cheese sauce, and guacamole were really tasty. Server was attentive and friendly - it was a nice lunch!“
“Omg for 4 amazing taco, I only paid about $12! The tacos were so authentic and really full of meat! Mmmm ? mmm it's like $8 for two tortas (they are like sandwiches) MUST try if you're in this area! There are authentic and bilingual!Like my post if you found it helpful or agreeWheelchair accessibility: No“
“Love this local no frills neighborhood spot! The Menudo is my favorite. Also love their Chilaquiles! And I enjoyed watching the Michigan vs Maryland game on the TV in the corner. Down home fresh, great and affordable tasting meals served here! If you are ever visiting for a game at AT&T Stadium or Globe Life Park, it is close by!“
“I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the nachos amd the chinos tacos ( had to I'm from El Paso) The chinos tacos don't taste like chicos but they're still very tasty. The nachos were good too. I went second time and changed it to 5 stars. Food is delicious.“
“Great experience! We went on a Wednesday night and they had karaoke going. Food was all delicious. They had some unique menu items such as the elote mac and cheese with steak which was amazing. I also enjoyed their jalapeño margarita. You get a shaker to refill your margarita glass with and they are strong.“
“This is our only stop for Mexican food. The food is always great. I’ve never had a bad experience with the food or service, they are always very good. The atmosphere is good and we enjoy every trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and service! Wendy was my last server and she is very good!“
“Hernan, great server, thank you! Food was great. Nice family place with TV for sports. Open bar for yummy drinks. Food was so yummy. Thank you!!Parking: Great location near freewayKid-friendliness: My son is a picky eater, he loved his food!“
“The food was absolutely delicious, the sevice was really good. I asked the employees some questions about my freebirds app and they were really helpful, and I've always loved the atmosphere in Freebirds, awesome decorations and music playing in the lobby. It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants.“
“I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! They staff were super friendly and they seated us immediately. My mother ordered a raspberry mule, and it was absolutely amazing. It was very well made and a bit on the strong side. We both ordered off the lunch menu and were surprised by how large the portions are. We got the lunch fajitas and the enchilada taco plate. The rice was a bit puffy for my liking, and the salsa was a bit like tomato sauce, but that was my only complaint. Everything was well priced, and it was pretty tasty. It's hard to find a good restaurant in this area, so I highly recommend it!“
“Nice clean place. Employees are very nice. You can pay with credit card, but there's an additional fee.We ordered plain ice cream and a Chamoyada Mango. The Chamoyada is interesting and had a unique flavor with the spice. The ice cream was good.“
“Loooove Mexican Inn. The homemade chips and salsa are like no other, and their queso Blanco is my favorite in DFW. I have a bad habit of filling up on the chips and dips before my actual entree arrives, but everything I've ordered here has been very tasty.“
“My truck is getting worked on, across the street at express oil change and tire engineers, so my mastiff and I had to find a place to hang out until it’s ready. I called Cristina’s, and they have a dog friendly patio! Food is great, service is awesome, and the patio is beautiful. They even have a fire pit. They’re continually making improvements, and might start opening the patio bar again. (The manager came to check on us so we chatted a bit)“
“I went by Miguelito's Lounge and ordered food and a glass of wine. It was the best steak nachos I have eaten. My son and I halved an order. The wine here is good. The prices are affordable. Christopher S. was my friendly server. They were drawing names and spinning the wheel for prizes. They have different music DJs. Hispanic music this week themed for Mexican Independence Day. Elvis impersonator on September 08, 2023, on a Friday night. My friends and I have also enjoyed karaoke on Saturdays starting at 9:00pm. They had a wedding reception and it was wonderful, fun! We stayed till 11pm that night because it is the best late night Karaoke Lounge. You can order food up until 10pm. They bring you chips and home made hot sauce to your table. Enjoyed their friendly staff. Enjoy their Air Conditioning or go out on the patio. They have televisions to watch football games if you like.“
“La Isla provides an all-around comfortable experience in that it's never crowded or noisy and you will NEVER have to wait for a table, but it's a cut above fast food. I absolutely love their cheese enchiladas con carne and their rice and beans, but they also have great tamales and flautas. Everything is always piping hot and fresh--oh, and they have great chips and salsa too!The servers are very friendly and do very well to keep drink glasses filled and plates cleared. If you want to linger, that's fine; but if you want to get in and out quickly but want something a little better than a run-of-the-mill fast food joint, La Isla is for you.“
