“I had the supreme combination, takeout. It was very busy for a Friday at 5:00 PM, but my order was ready when they said it would be. The young man handing it to me made sure I had utensils, napkins, Parmesan cheese and red pepper and asked if there was anything else I might need. The staff was helpful and provided good service, and the pizza was dang tasty.”

“We just devoured the 3 Meat Plate (brisket, ribs & chicken) & it was one of the tastiest meals I’ve had! No knives needed…very tender & delicious! Perfectly seasoned. Two of us shared the plate, had 2 soda drinks & it was under $40. The young lady who owns the place is very sweet & personable. Support this small business!”

“We are from Houston and try to make the drive often for some Teddy's Barbecue. Everyone there is very friendly and have great customer service. I can almost say we have tried everything on their menu. They have the best brisket, ribs, smoked turkey breast, pork belly and sausage (chile piquin cheddar). The flavor is perfect it just melts in your mouth! The sides are also so delicious my favorites are the brussels sprouts, corn, mac and cheese and coleslaw. We can't forget the desserts the banana pudding is so delicious. We enjoy it on our way back home to Houston. We can't wait to be back soon!”

“OMG, I am so glad the burger place in Donna was closed when we got there. If it wasn't I would not have found this place. I am a CFS "snob". I like more meat less crust. Some places advertise and show the largest CFS you have ever seen. But alas, it is mostly crust. This place serves about a ¾" steak with minimal crust. It came out piping hot along with the home cut fries. Both were hot, when i took my last bite(yes I tend to eat faster than the average bear) ? The size of the steak was perfect for me, I compare it to the circumference of a regular sized waffle. If I ever get to come back to the RGV, I will be back to eat at Haley's”

“I felt that we waited longer than normal for our meals. Maybe they were short a person that day as it took longer for our drinks to arrive, too. My husband loved his hamburger. I felt that mine was overcooked but they did make the lettuce wrap as I had asked for.”

“I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service at this little cheesers! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. There was a short line, but it moved fast. I haven't been to a little cheesers in a few yrs so some stuff was new to me and the employee was patient and professional. They all communicated with each other enthusiastically and when the person at the register didn't have a line he was helping his Co workers. Everyone was busy, moving fast, and they all seemed happy. I will be returning specifically to this place because of their customer service and wonderful attitudes. I wish I'd taken note of their names because they were awesome! Keep up the great work!”

“Such a motivating and comfortable place to work or study. I'm currently having finals, and my sister and I come here to study almost every weekend. Never felt more productive than when I came here to this café, AND did I mention how delicious their beverages are? The boba was delicious, along with their energy drinks. “I didn't rate the service or atmosphere only because I wasn't there to pick up the cookies but I'm sure it was top notch since one of my sons drives from Harlingen just to get their cookies .. I had the vanilla cookie with the creme on top and let me tell you it was THE BEST cookie I've ever eaten ..It rivaled my aunts chocolate chip cookies from childhood and that's saying a lot because I LOVE chocolate ! ?I would have normally chosen a chocolate cookie but thought to myself" Self .. try something different ? .. " I second guessed myself 3 times if that makes any sense because I don't like anything vanilla accept maybe some Vanilla Bluebell ice-cream ..Lemme tell you ...I felt like I was eating a mini cheesecake !It had the perfect chew and the creme on top was PHENOMENAL ..Also it was not sickeningly sweet as some desserts can be and was a very good size cookie ..The only down side is that now all other cookies have been ruined for me ?SO DELICIOUS !! ???”

“First timers..Wow what great chicken, we have not found many places like this in our travels!! We got the 2 chicken special on Saturday. It was plenty for multiple meals for the 2 of us. Rice, beans, onions, jalapeño and tortillas came with the special for $25. They have 3 lanes and all had 3 cars in them when I got there. That tells you something!! Had a bit of a language barrier but they got a gal to come out and take my order.”

“Great upscale Mexican food - not a typical menu - lots of unique takes on the standard fare. All of our selections were tasty & plentiful at a very reasonable price. We were served on the outside patio on a cool February evening. The heaters were plentiful enough to make it very comfortable despite the 40 degree temp. Worth our 60 minute trip to Wilson.”

“This is a local Bar and Vendor store. The bar was closed when I went but was able to visit the vendor stores. Glad to see things like this in Weslaco. I’ll make sure to go back for some drinks.”

“This place is great, the service is that original, authentic southern hospitality service. You feel like your family or like you've known them for years. The other great thing is they have a special for each day. Today (Tuesday) is the brisket burger for $5.75. I ask for the fatty slices and thats what I always get. I order to take so they pack everything separate for me so I can prep and eat when I get home. They do have a dining area as well and it is the perfect Texas bbq dining area. I think Wednesday is the chicken plate special for $7.50. Not one complaint about this establishment. It is worth the visit, I highly recommend.”

“When I visit from Midland I will always stop here as soon as I get into town. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. The owner is so great, his staff is great. They have the best coffee in town! There’s definitely NO COMPETITION. I will pick this place over any other coffee shop in RGV. The coffee has the best flavors! They have coffee, lemonades, energy drinks even muffins!
