Rhe serving sizes are fantastic.I personally loved the hibachi noodle and chicken/shrimp combo. My husband had the fried rice with extra beef and the "special sauce"If you are in prosper and need some delicious hibachi come here, bonus you can fill up you car while your at it too.Such a cute little date spot for couples who love cruising in the car ??“
“This place is SO GOOD! Our food came out really fast. Not only was it plated beautifully, but it was delicious as well. The prices are great for the service and quality of everything. My favorite roll so far is the red bridge, with the smoked salmon on top. This place is convenient, high quality, great service, etc. My new go to sushi place!“
“I previously posted a negative review regarding a terrible experience during my birthday dinner. The restaurant went out of their way to reach out and inquire further on our experience. They promised to make it right if we returned and they absolutely did! We returned for my mom’s birthday. The service was amazing, food was tasty, and the chefs were great. We will be returning and recommending this place. Thank you for caring enough about our experience and making it right!“
“Came in on a Tuesday night without reservations and they were thankfully able to seat us quickly! Everything was fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere was so nice - especially after celebrating our wedding this past weekend! Highly recommend“
“The food was delicious. I ordered the 5 set with another salmon roll as my extra choice. Overall, the experience was good, but it did take a while to get menus and actually get served with a reservation. Once we ordered the handrolls were coming at a steady pace, and overall were delicious.Although the wait was long, the food was worth the wait.“
“An exceptional restaurant and dining experience! Personal attention from the chef/owner and co-owner. The food is creative, elegant, surprising. The touch is subtle and balanced. Oh yeah, delicious, too! I left so full I didn’t eat for 12 hours, but that’s my fault …“
“This place is the best sushi in town; and the ramen, bento boxes, mochi icecream, curry and robata are also really good. The staff is really on point as well--all Japanese. Our favorite rolls are the Golden Bridge Roll, ninja roll, and the spicy tuna tataki. We've eaten here 5 times in the last quarter and will keep coming back.“
“I definitely wasn’t expecting much at first, but this superseded all my expectations. While this kind of restaurant would be considered “fast food” back in Japan, the quality of the food my wife and I got was so much better.I am also happy that the (I assume) owner / manager spoke Japanese to myself and my wife (she’s from Tokyo). This went over very well with both of us, and we will certainly be back to frequent this place.“
“I wasn't expecting to find such a wonderful place in McKinney, Texas. I've been to shabu-shabu places in Tokyo and New York City, and I've made hot pot with family many times. This place offers the best of both in a wonderful, flavorful, succulent, comfortable space. I hope to find a partner to start a franchise in Westchester County!I had lamb with tonkotsu broth, and all the vegies they offer. I added ramen noodles (the soba was tempting, too) and they made a wonderful soup to take home - lunch for tomorrow.Kid-friendliness: It's counter-style and very kid-friendly.“
“Our absolute favorite place for sushi, noodles, apps and desserts! They have a great kids menu and sushi for happy hour. The food is fresh and our waiter Eliot is always super friendly! They even offer specialty vegan roll (Bangkok roll) which is my fav!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Great kids menu with multiple options (chicken, fish, noodles, etc)“
“Go here! ? The place was very clean. Loved the restaurant decor and all the pretty neon lights. They made our birthday girl feel special, gave her a light up crown. It was such a cute and special birthday celebration. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Loved the ice tea, gyoza both chicken and pork were great. Loved, the salad, the hibachi chicken with noodles. Hubby loved the sea bassThe hibachi chef could have talked and smiled a little bit more, but he did play with us. Shot drinks in our mouth and tossed veggies at us, so that was fun. We will definitely come back. The kids loved getting Andes mints and a dum dum as we left.“
“Upon perusing their extensive menu, I was drawn to their selection of cooked rolls, each promising a symphony of flavors that would tantalize the taste buds. As I embarked on my culinary journey, I found myself enchanted by the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in every dish. The first roll I sampled was the Dragon Roll. A true masterpiece, it boasted a perfect balance of succulent shrimp tempura, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber, all enveloped in a delicate layer of sushi rice and crowned with slices of fresh, buttery eel. The interplay of textures and flavors was nothing short of divine, leaving me craving for more with each blissful bite. Next up was the Spider Roll, a delightful concoction that showcased the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. Featuring crispy soft-shell crab, crunchy cucumber, and velvety avocado, this roll was a symphony of contrasting textures and harmonious flavors, elevated by a drizzle of tangy eel sauce and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. However, the true star of the show was undoubtedly the Volcano Roll. As its name suggests, this roll erupted with bold, fiery flavors that left me utterly mesmerized. A delectable combination of spicy tuna, creamy crab, and crisp tempura flakes, all wrapped in a blanket of rice and topped with a decadent layer of torched spicy mayo, it was a culinary spectacle that ignited my senses and left me craving for more. To complement my meal, I indulged in a selection of their expertly crafted cocktails, each meticulously crafted to enhance the flavors of the dishes. From the refreshing citrus notes of the Yuzu Martini to the subtle sweetness of the Lychee Sake-tini, each sip was a revelation, further elevating my dining experience to new heights. In conclusion, my experience at Bluefin was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect of my visit surpassed my expectations. If you're a discerning food lover in search of an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Bluefin. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you.“
“I really like their hibachi. Best hibachi I have ever eaten so far. My family also likes to go and eat here. It’s not a top tier restaurant, but it shouldn’t be. It’s really nice place for express one with tasty food for a reasonable price and convenient service, which I definitely recommend.“
“We hosted 2 “back to back” birthday parties here and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for the perfect venue to celebrate their special occasions at. We were a group of 25 and we had the best experience. They have some of the friendliest staff around and we appreciate their awesome service! Even though we were such a big group, everything went smoothly! Just call them to make a reservation and they’ll work with you to ensure their guests will have a wonderful experience.“
“Whoa, what a pleasant surprise - grabbed lunch order of hibachi shrimp fried rice that’s fresh and delicious. Not too greasy rice w/fresh 10 pcs of shrimp. I skipped the veggies - I wish I didn’t, since this is my first time ordering here. But I will be back to dine in to try the sushi and spring rolls. Angela the greeter was really welcoming and friendly too!“
“Ordered takeout of 2 sushi rolls and the hibachi fried rice. I am SO impressed. The food was prepared quickly, the gentleman who greeted me was kind and affable, and the food was so extremely good. The sushi was fresh and delicious and the fried rice was mouth watering and even the Yum Yum sauce was on point. I will be back frequently.“
“Fast casual place.Good: Atmosphere is cool. Has the car/garage theme. Restroom clean! Food was tasty. Shrimp was delicious with the sauce but can add up as it’s $2 each. Tofu hibachi grill was good and came with two different sauces to try out. Wow bowl chicken was cooked perfectly. All of the dishes tasted good and safe bets but also nothing that would necessarily be a craving or bring me back. Quick service. For improvement: Galbi bowl was tough to eat with the plastic fork. The plastic fork was not strong enough to poke through the meat, not that the meat was tough. Need metal forks to eat the Galbi with. Menus set up high and spread across the full length of the bar so you can’t see the items on the left menu panel or even middle panel when you make it to the register— why do restaurants do this? Have a repeat of the menus— do one set at the front so people waiting in line can start thinking about what they want, then a same set of menus behind the register so we can remember. Tables were sticky- when we arrived and during the middle of our meal, we were the only ones in.Bad: nothing was bad though they need some fine tuningVegetarian options: Tofu“
“Everything we ordered was top-notch. Highly recommend the spicy steamed dumplings and the soft shell crab bun. You can definitely make a meal out of just appetizers and be more than full.Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere isn’t too loud, but no one will bat an eye at a family sharing a meal.“
“Food was plentiful and great flavors. The service was on point, never missing an empty glass or used dish on the table(s). Pricing is right, very affordable in comparison to others. I would recommend eating here if in the mood for some good sushi ??“
“One of my FAVORITE spots in Frisco! The food and service are always immaculate and I find myself recommending Nikugen to people looking for a solid spot for feel good Japanese food. If you’re not looking for ramen I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Hibachi. That’s one of my go-to’s for the past year or so. 10/10 can’t stress enough how good this place is!“
“Whenever I’m in Texas and craving Japanese food, I always visit this place. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the yakitori and agedashi tofu, which offer a taste just like back in Japan. Additionally, they have a happy hour where beers are priced attractively.“
“I'm so so happy to see Sushibox grow. I ordered a geisha roll(with salmon this time), lion king, and a tiger roll with some shrimp tempura and seaweed salad on the side. Everything was fresh and very tasty. I'll visit again soon.Features: All employees were wearing masks.“
“Always consistent and delicious. Great value. The wait staff is always super friendly and have great recommendations if you're not quite sure what to order. The off menu items on the chalk board are worth trying. We tried the kanpachi sashimi and it was amazing. This place is one of our favorites for great sushi.“
“A HIDDEN GEM!! I absolutely love it here. Authentic Japanese cuisine, very small intimate seating & atmosphere. The sweetest staff… the food is incredible and service is personable. They also have a great omakase you’ll need to notify ahead of time definitely recommend if you’re not familiar with what to order.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Frisco 469, and I must say, their sushi rolls exceeded all expectations. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a memorable dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Frisco 469 for anyone craving exceptional sushi and top-notch service.“
“I have been a customer of Zen Sushi since Jack and Sara opened the restaurant. The menu is full of variety and my family as well as my clients always find a favorite from their offerings. We absolutely love the family feel of the restaurant and the hometown vibe of their regulars that we encounter when dining there. Very rarely is there a wait and we are always be seated quickly!!!“
“The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“
“So good it made me realize how bad the other sushi places i been to areI've been here three times now and everything was perfect every time. I've had sashimi at a different place once before but it was awful ( still finished it since my friend was paying) i for some reason decide to try it again at this place and it was impeccable, now i cant stop getting it. the quality is amazing and the amount you get for what you spend is incredible, between that and the location this will be the only sushi place i go to from now on. sushi box is indubitably the best sushi place in town.“
“Fresh and well-prepared sushi and sashimi, plus a variety of other Japanese menus with traditional and contemporary style. The price is very budget friendly, staff super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I'm glad I found this place. The lunch special sushi combo was a great value, came with salad and soup.“
“This is my favorite Poke spot in the area! The poke is great quality and they are always generous with the amount of food they provide. ALSO I can’t forget to mention my favorite part is the FREE miso soup with each purchase! You gotta check this spot out!“
“I'm 30 weeks pregnant and the two rolls on the outside are both cooked and they were amazing!! The frisco roll was out of this world. The Crab Rangoon was phenomenal, made to order (some places don't do that) in other words was super hot and fresh when brought to the table, that sauce it came with was soooo good I ended up dipping my sushi in that sauce. Service was average, no complaints. My friend and I left very satisfied and full! Will be going back“
“Always been a favorite. This time the Mardi Gras roll had very little crawfish and caviar on the top and it was not warm. The crawfish topping use to be warm and lots of caviar - it's my favorite roll and I would like to see it return to its former glory.“
“2/11/24 - I never ever been to a authentic Ramen Noodle Restarunt Before... I finally went the very first time and i gotta say... it is Really Good!!!! Hokkaido Ramen House is amazing!!! When you walk in it looks empty but it is better like that anywayz lol. The Staff are Very Friendly and Respectful! They give you the menus and you choose! The Chicken Rich Soup is my All Time Favorite!!! It tasted like Ramen Noodles Chicken Flavor with meat n bokchoy! The Cost is not bad price wise! Portion of Food they fill it up :) :) and they do have to go plates if you can't finish you food. I hope there is a Location in Florida because i want to go again!!! This place is worth it and i Recommand Everyone come here and Try it out!!!“
“I went for lunch and had the Bento box. It had a very nice variety of items. Some sushi, some tempura, salad and a few other items. It was all fresh, no fishy smell. And the miso soup was so good as well. I've had sushi in many different places and Shiawase is definitely one of the better places. I can't wait to go again.“
“My mom and I came to sushi Damu for our weekly mommy monday today, everything was great! the Ahi tower was definitely a standout. salmon sushi was sooo fatty and great too. we did the AYCE: such a great deal! our server was busy but attentive and friendly. would definitely recommend for a small group dinner “
“I usually never leave reviews, but I felt like this was very deserved. Thank you Fiza for a superb experience! My daughter and I had come in and ordered four poke bowls (All which were absolutely delicious by the way). We had to make many modifications on the bowls due to the pickiness of my kids, and the cashier at the counter was more than happy to assist us. She handled all the modifications like a champ, and was smiling and laughing along with us as well. After chatting with her for a bit, we waited for our order which took barely any time at all. Upon seeing the order on the table, I realized that the chef spoke very little English, so it was a little difficult for him to properly understand everything. After seeing a slip of paper next to our packed up order, we realized that she was kind enough to physically draw out a picture of the order and labeled it with all additions for the chef, which made it a lot easier for him to understand. She handled the situation like a pro, and every single order of ours was correct! I had asked for her name upon leaving, which I believe was Fiza. Never do I see such acts of kindness and cheery attitudes anymore, and this was very refreshing to see. She without a doubt made our experience very pleasant, and we will for sure return (Plus the food was superb)! If you go in and are greeted with a young girl with a cheery attitude, you’re in luck! Thank you Fiza, for making not only our food great, but our experience along with it. I highly recommend!“
“Tai Sushi House truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The moment I stepped in, the serene ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor and lighting created a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with a staff that was not only attentive but also well-versed in guiding us through the menu. They seamlessly combined professionalism with warmth, enhancing the overall dining pleasure. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the sushi. Each piece was a work of art, meticulously crafted with precision and creativity. The freshness of the ingredients was unmistakable, highlighting the restaurant's dedication to quality. From traditional nigiri to avant-garde rolls, every bite was a burst of flavors that danced on my palate. The menu, expansive and diverse, offered a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine. It wasn't just a meal; it was a culinary adventure. The chef's special recommendations showcased a keen understanding of flavor combinations, leaving me eager to return and explore more.Presentation at Tai Sushi House was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish arrived like a masterpiece, appealing not only to the taste buds but also to the eyes. The aesthetic consideration in every detail truly elevated the dining experience. In conclusion, Tai Sushi House has set a new standard for sushi dining. It's not merely a restaurant; it's a destination for those seeking an immersive and delightful culinary journey. Five stars don't seem enough to express the excellence this establishment delivers, making it a must-visit for anyone passionate about exceptional sushi and Japanese cuisine.“
“You’ll be surprised by the low prices of the menu items. So surprised that you’ll order a lot of food. Then something that was an inexpensive post workout meal turns into the amount of a mini grocery bill. The food was good but I can’t say it’s something that’s worth writing about. One negative was the Miso soup it was WAY too salty. One positive was that the Seaweed Salad was fresh and had no slime pooling at the bottom. As far as sushi goes it was average. Nothing special here just another sushi restaurant, no experience, no amazing anything. It’s really new and clean good for dates and lunches.“
“It’s a good place that’s kind of tucked away next to the freeway. Restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a lot of fun and creative rolls / maki so would suggest ordering some of that. Really good place for the kids during the day if they’re into easy to eat sushi. ?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for daytime lunch“
“Our family has eaten here several times and it has always been good. This last time was a birthday meal request from one of our kids and we tried a ton of food: variety of sushi rolls, tonkatsu Ramen, spicy miso Ramen and spicy Ramen, plus takoyaki balls, spam musubi and edamame. Everything was delicious!!Service was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. The 6 of us walked out happy and full!“
“Great scallops , steak was ok. Just wasn’t as entertaining as I have seen before . But still recommend . Don’t ask for chili oil tho.. sever said that’s for Chinese food not hibachi lol. Get the scallops .. they were A-1. Also take a min to admire the art on the walls .“
“I come to this Asian restaurant very often and it had great portion sizes for its price.Great spot if your trying to dine in or dine out.The service is really attentive and they were nice and kind when I ordered there. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and it was clean.“
“I love this place, the area, the people and of course the food. I love the Dynamite Shrimp bowl and the rolls they prepare. What can I say about the service? it is excellent. Taylor is great and she is always being sure that you have the best service and experience at the bar.“
“I went there on a Tuesday evening with friends , we got seated right away . The place was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. We opted to have the hibachi and it didn't disappoint. The chef put in a good show for us and the whole group had a great time . The fried rice was very delicious ! I ordered Chilean sea bask and shrimp , my friends had steak and shrimp and we all enjoyed our food . I love that our server was very attentive, she made sure we are taken care of . The chef was also awesome for entertaining us while making his mouth watering food. When gave our order we got ask if we had any food allergies which is a big plus for me since my son have lots of allergies. I would definitely come back again with my family next time so they can also enjoy the food and the entertainment.“
