“Absolutely LOVE this place! The service is amazing and feels like family, the food is phenomenal and reasonably priced! They know us by name for how long we have been coming. Cesar salad with chicken is hands down something I crave now. I would highly recommend this location!!“
“Bryant was our server. Food was incredible. Only issue I had was I think the rolls were maybe microwaved. But the quality and portion size were GREAT. We had the lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs (asking for meat sauce next time too!) We will def be back.“
“The service again was average. Forgot drinks and slow with water refills. We have been to this Eddie Vs 6-7 times since they have opened in Plano. The first 4-5 times EvERYTHING was phenomenal but the last 2 visits there has been serious decline in service. Love this place and the downtown location as well and hope they get it back on track“
“Mike the owner is very down to earth and takes the time to talk with the guests there. He even takes orders and runs food himself. I can tell his heart is definitely in the restaurant, and he has trained his staff very well to be friendly and responsive. Food was a delight as well, and is the closest thing you can get to cocos in Japan. I will definitely be making the hour drive again soon!Kid-friendliness: Great menu for little kids. My son is only 16 months and I was worried he wasn’t going to like what they had there. Little did I know they had an amazing menu for toddlers consisting of chicken nuggets, fries, Mac n cheese, with a side of curry and rice! Very accommodating.“
“The food was fantastic but Sam our waitress elevated the dining experience to a new level. She was attentive but not pushy. She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“
“I have heard only great things about this place and finally got a chance to stop in for lunch today with my Mom. Sr. Ozzy’s hit it out of the park. The Owner - Armando - was gracious and attentive and we were chatting with him before, during, and after our meal. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated by Myra. She brought us waters while we browsed the cocktail menu. Fortunately, we spent quite a bit of time browsing the Food Menu online and knew what we wanted to order prior to our arrival. We started things off with some Mango Margaritas with tajin on the rim (which kicked it up a notch). The flavor and spice profile hit the sweet spot just right. Chips and Red/Green Salsa were brought to the table piping hot and ready for dipping. Excellent! Then came the entrées - Mom ordered one Vampiro and one Pollo Taco with a side of Rice & Beans. I ordered a Quesa Birria and a Mar Y Tierra Taco with a side of Rice and Beans. So freaking good! And…Mexican Flan for dessert! Phenomenal! This was a perfect way to end a meal. Not too decadent but also didn’t leave still feeling hungry. It is clear that the Owner takes pride in his culinary skills and expertise and it truly shines through. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. Nothing canned or microwaved here. Food portions, taste, and quality - all right on point. The flavor and spices meld together on the palate and complement each other very nicely. It’s like I was teleported to a different realm of consciousness. Everything about our visit was reminiscient of and giving me SoCal Vibes. We will be back to try other Menu items (namely the Mexican Sushi - the Baconador) and I can promise you that we will be regulars here going forward. True standouts for our first visit were Myra and Armando. We enjoyed the delightful conversation. Thanks so much and we’ll be back again soon!“
“Came out for my boyfriend’s birthday. Have to say they staff was very kind in wishing him a happy birthday on his special day, appreciated that. The food was very good! As you’d expect. We booked a late reservation on open table and found it was 30 minutes before closing so people were already leaving and lights came on for cleaning. Although our server didn’t rush us it felt uncomfortable with people saying bye and completing closing tasks. We felt rushed and would have booked a reservation earlier if we knew the closing time would be so soon after our arrival. We ordered dessert mid-meal because the kitchen was closing, when we got it we flew threw it, just not ideal.“
“Wow! Bongo Beau's Cajun Kitchen is a flavor explosion! From the zesty gumbo to the delicious Drowning Catfish, every dish was a hit. Definitely try the hush puppies. Plus, Megan's service was top-notch? Can't wait to come back for more!“
“Food is amazing, cooked very well. The service was fast as we ordered to go which only took them about 10min to make. I highly recommend it if you like seafood and the area is amazing due to the nice amenities around such as the stadium and many other restaurants and hotels near by.Parking: Street parking and paid parking garage“
“One of favorite spots. Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices by comparison. Their variety is exceptional. The food quality is always good. Don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations or suggestions. There spice level is true to slightly hotter than others.“
“I'll start with the food, though the service outshines it, the best genuine Mexican food I've enjoyed since I left SoCal by far, now the service was all smiles and also genuine. Small little place, just made it cozy. I can see growth here.Parking: It's in a small business area near my church, Christ Fellowship onOrchid and Eldorado.Kid-friendliness: Kid's had a wonderful time with kid friendly options. A lot of laughsWheelchair accessibility: My daughter uses a wheelchair and we had no difficulty at all.“
“Very yummy ramen!! Very fresh and hot! Several different types of ramen, rice dishes, and udon noddle dishes. We had the fried shrimp and vegetarian Gyoza for apps. Both was good! Waiters were very friendly and patient with us since this was our first time there. They also checked on us several times which was nice. They gave us additional sauces and condiments for our ramen. Also additional items to add as sides or in your ramen. We will definitely visit this place again.“
“I had the fish tacos, one fried, one grilled. Both tasted so good, dips and hot sauce were very tasty. I will be back for more. Fries were good, looked like house made, I like mine extra crispy so will ask for that next time. Food tasted very fresh!“
“We dined here last night and had such a great experience. I wish I had pics but we were busy enjoying ? Everything was hot & fresh and delicious. We had the Bang Bang shrimp, Corn chowder (I fell in love with that soup) , the Cod Imperial (soooo good) Jasmine rice (omg) , broccoli (nice & soft with garlic butter). The pomegranate martini was delish as well. Our waiter rocked! So attentive, professional & friendly. This is my kind of dining experience : great food , service & atmosphere“
“we have a group of about 8 who dine out together regularly. we used to go to another restaurant in Allen until we discovered Salsa! The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. We go at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad meal. The chicken enchiladas and quesabirria tacos are winners! The warm black bean dip is the bomb.“
“This place is THE Italian restaurant in the area that has an unassuming exterior but food and service is outstanding. The staff are very polite and responsive without being pesty. For us, it was the perfect amount of attention needed. The food is awesome! We set as a goal to try everything on the well-rounded menu. We got turned onto Verona by a neighbor who bought us a take-out meal and was blown away with how well packaged it was. Many thanks for continued great service and terrific food.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Blake, our server, was courteous, knowledgeable, very attentive and played a key part in making our experience great. The food and dessert were excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance. We also appreciated that Blake not only ensured that the meal was satisfactory, but asked if we had any food allergies and kept us aware of any ingredients that could affect us. We would definitely go to this restaurant again.“
“Family had lunch here to celebrate my granddaughter's 12th birthday. The food was very good, I had Dama Bianca, chicken with sauteed mushrooms, gluten free pasta and Alfredo sauce. It was absolutely delicious! We had an assortment of appetizers that were very good. My whole family enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is typical Italian restaurant, nothing remarkable. Our waitress was rather quiet but very efficient. The only thing I didn't like was the cannoli, rather than having a nice blend of sweetened ricotta cheese it was more of a gooey over sweet sticky cream of some sort. Having had the real things in Italy it was a bit of a disappointment. Americans put too much sugar in their sweets anyway.“
“Outside of the Saints decor (im a cowboys fan) this place is great. The staff is super kind, and the food is hot, fresh, and well prepared. One of the few places that still feels like a family place with staff willing to talk to you rather than seem depressed.“
“Anyone who looks at my other reviews will see I am picky about my seafood experiences, and seafood being my favorite. I am perplexed why this place is not rated higher. This is one of the closest seafood places to where we live, and has kind of become our go to when we want some seafood but not have to drive more than a couple-to-few miles. Every time we've gone here, service was spot on. Never had a bad experience server-wise, never had to wait too long, never been "over-checked on", and food has been good every single time.Only complaint is a minor one, and is that sometimes they run out of something... like last time they were out of the Seafood Cocktail. But does not happen too often, and they've never run out of the crabcakes that I always order.Really good crabcakes, wife loves their mussels. Nothing has ever been terrible, and insanely reasonable prices for seafood.“
“This location is far better than the one in Plano. It's noticeably newer and cleaner. The menu is pretty much the same across the two locations.Services is pretty fast and the dumplings are hot. You get a good amount of fried rice to share between 2-3 people, depending on how much each person is able to eat.The price is pretty on par with most similar places. Sodas are by the can so each one will cost you. It's pretty open and a decent amount of seating for the space. It's bright and the noise level is fairly quiet, even when it's full.Yes, recommended if you like dumplings.“
“Very good restaurant. Went with family and ordered different menu items. Kids loved chicken lomein and I really liked pad Thai which was my favorite. Will try more items soon. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommend others to visit this place.“
“The food was Great the ribs was Sooo Tender I ordered the Shrimp Fried rice with no peas and carrots add Green onions and it was everything the Shrimp Egg Foo Young was Nice and Hot and Freshly Cooked our waiter was so helpful and understood the assignment ❤️“
“I went with a friend for dinner and the food was very good. I got tofu lo mein, and she had Sichuan chicken. The only thing I didn't care for was the fried rice. To me, it just tasted like rice with soy sauce on it. The service was good. I will try it again and opt for plain rice.“
“This is a great spot for drinks food & just an all around chill place to hangout @. The bartender Wendy is my favorite. She's very attentive definitely knows how to make drinks. If you're in the Frisco/Little Elm area you should definitely check this place out.“
“It was really good beware the adobo grilled octopus is extremely spicy but fajitas are great especially the chicken ones atmosphere is pretty cool I don't think anyone in there spoke English however the menu is entirely in English but our server didn't speak a lick of English not a problem just kind of Beware when you go in there you can obviously point to the menu and they're obviously used to people not speaking Spanish but thoroughly enjoyed my time it was a nice open feel and a very calm nice atmosphere“
“We had the best dinner experience. The food, drinks, ambience and staff were wonderful. I had am amazing Birthday dinner and will definitely be back to try more of the menu! Completely recommend The Glen for any celebration or nice night out.“
“My husband and I came here because we lived only a few minutes away. We absolutely love seafood! I was impressed by the snow crab because the meat wasn’t salty and it has a sweet taste, the legs were big and cooked just right to where we could crack and pull the meat out easily. The clam chowder has to be one of the best I’ve had. The oysters were fresh and the cocktail sauce was perfect. We also ordered crawfish but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the crawfish seemed overcooked. Also, I recommend that the staff clean after everyone leaves. They were mopping the floor and it left a strong chemical aroma. We noticed the table next to use had brought their babies and I just felt like the staffs can take that into consideration… it killed the vibe.“
“Super chill spot, relaxed vibe on a late friday night. Ordered a whole grip of different skewers, along with the pea shoots and oysters.Everything tasted super fresh, packed with flavor and some satisfying heat. On the pricier side for sure if you're ordering to fill up. My waiter was super helpful in identifying what skewers were which and had some great recommendations for future orders.I'd love to come back with a group to try the whole fish and that soju watermelon I keep seeing around.Vegetarian options: Several veggie options, both as sides and grilled items. Some vegetarian rice and noodle options as well.“
“Exceptional dining experience! I opted for the fried catfish and shrimp combo, accompanied by cheesy grits and fries. The catfish fillet was generously sized and perfectly coated in cornmeal batter. As a first-timer, my waitress Jessica kindly offered samples, and the fried oyster nacho stood out. I also indulged in the flavorful gumbo, crab bisque, clam chowder, and roasted jalapeno soup--all were great. There were varied fish specials on the blackboard menu that looked incredible. Impeccable service added to the enjoyment; Jessica was attentive and wonderfully friendly. I will definitely be back!“
