“We happened upon the BEST Thai restaurant, Thai Soon, in Richardson! Portion size was great, a tiny but quaint place facing Coit Rd, just south of Beltline. Actual address is 101 S. Coit Rd, Suite 401. We always start off with spring rolls. If you want oil free you need to specify steamed tofu, not fried. I had the Cashew Nut Entree with Brown rice that was heaping with fresh veggies ! I had a spice level of 3 and it was perfect for my spicy palate. Pat chose a Pad Thai with Veggies as well. Both of us agreed that it was the best Thai food we have ever had in Dallas (and we have frequented many)! We followed up with Purple Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was a 10/10! Not the right season for Mango Sticky Rice, so we tried something new, and cannot wait to return! Prices very reasonable as well! You won’t regret a visit to Thai Soon In Richardson.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in most all dishes. Just be sure to tell them that you are Vegan and cannot eat any animal products.“

“We had been meaning to try this restaurant out and got the chance over the weekend for dinner. We found the food and service to be really great. We came in when they had a large group already seated. We were impressed at how they were able to get our food out quickly along with that of the group. We started with the Summer Roll with shrimp. The portion was good and the flavor was great. For the main meal, I went away from my usual favorite Thai dish and went with the Thai's Thumbz Noodle with tofu and I'm glad I did. While it is similar to Pad See Ew, the sauce was a bit different and I liked the snow peas and peanuts for something different. My husband went with the Pad See Ew with chicken and he also wasn't disappointed. The portions were generous and the flavor was so good, I found it hard to stop eating! We look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu like their curries.“

“I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.“

“First time here and I was really impressed. I always try the chicken pad Thai at new Thai places as a reference and it was delicious. I also had the duck roti and the Tom kha soup. Everything was fresh, aromatic, and tasty. The Thai tea was made right. The service here is outstanding. I was greeted with a smile, sat down and served immediately. The place is a bit small but worth every visit. Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place too many good things one modern storefront, fast food style walk in go to the iPad. Pick your food then how you want your chicken fried or cooked how spicy you want it, white or really good brown ,is there any allergies, What items you do not like, then within five minutes you'll have a nice hot meal taste absolutely delicious, and hot, fresh. What else do you want? for me It's perfect. Simple no nonsense, one plastic fork, one plastic bowl, rice and one napkin.“

“We love Banana Leaf and the family that owns and runs the restaurant. We’ve held rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and family gatherings on top of our usual deliveries on nights we’re just too tired to cook. Shrimp blankets are a must for us. Our daughter has been eating those since she was a year old!“

“Khao-soi Curry noodles with the beef shank would highly recommend everything is fresh and packs an immense deep flavor. The dish has a lot of different textures that balance the eachother very well. Be mindful of the spice levels. The owner gave us some Thai sweet tea to help cool down another heavy hitter. Definitely need to try them.“

“Lemme just start by saying I don’t even like Thai food. Anyways my girlfriend and I looked up places to eat near by and found this spot. We called on a Saturday, they said they weren’t too busy and can accommodate us even if we show up late. We arrived at 8:25 PM not knowing what time they closed… they closed at 9. I felt bad knowing they closed soon but the two people in the store didn’t seem to care. They greeted us and helped us out without any attitude. Then came the food, we got tom yum soup with tofu, duck curry, papaya salad, and one more dish I don’t remember the name, but they were peak. I mean I’ve never had Thai food that I liked to this extent. I tried the Tom yum soup and was like ima need another Togo. I’m telling you best Thai food ever. Also Thai tea 10/10.We will come here every time we visit Dallas. I called my mom to tell her how good this place was.“

“Top notch! I came in at 3:30pm during a weekday so if it's that fresh during those dead hours I would think it's just as good during peak hours. This is some really good sushi! Very fresh salmon sashimi, the woman at the counter is very sweet and attentive, and I've felt some real VIP experience eating there. 14 bucks well spent I believe!Vegetarian options: Vegan cream cheese when indicatedParking: Restaurant parking is clearly labeled for the restaurant.“

“Small but mighty flavor. Our table got shrimp spring rolls, curry fried rice (medium spice) and red curry with chicken. Medium spice was perfectly in the middle of the scale as it should be. The portions were good as well, meaning our bellies were full and no food needed to be boxed up to go. Side note- if you go close to the time of this post, there is loud construction right next door so be prepared“
“Excellent atmosphere, nice and quiet, warm lighting. I had the citrus beef, which was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the yellow curry w chicken, and my daughter enjoyed the pad Thai. The place wasn't busy at all, which is probably why it was quiet, but that also meant that our service was very prompt. There was a bit of a language barrier, but our waitress was patient and kind as we worked that out.“

“I recently enjoyed an amazing takeout experience from Saucy Thai in Plano that absolutely deserves a 5-star review! Every dish I ordered was a culinary delight, showcasing the authentic Thai flavors Saucy Thai is known for. The Tom Kha soup was the perfect starter, with its rich coconut broth and tangy flavors warming me from the first sip. The Kao Soi was a standout, its savory broth and tender noodles offering a true taste of Northern Thailand. The Pad Thai, a classic favorite, did not disappoint either, with its perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami flavors. The Spicy Noodle Pad Kee Mao and Basil Fried Rice were both vibrant and flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients that spoke to the quality of the food. Not to be overlooked, the Dumplings, Crispy Spring Rolls, and Spicy Edamame were delicious appetizers that started the meal off right. Picking up my order was a breeze, and everything was packaged neatly, ensuring that the food remained hot and fresh until I could enjoy it at home. Saucy Thai in Plano has definitely earned a spot at the top of my list for exceptional Thai cuisine to-go!Vegetarian options: All dishes can be made with Tofu or VegetablesDietary restrictions: They customize as needed. We asked for no tofu and no egg for the basil fried rice!“

“Enjoyed lunch at Indochine last week. Portions were large and the service was prompt. My only complaint was that the curries (one red and one green) were so spicy that we were both sweating like we had just run a 10K. Would have gotten five stars if the heat had been turned down just a bit.“

“We were excited to try some of the specials like the shrimp curry in coconut or duck curry but unfortunately they don't have those anymore. We ended up getting the papaya salad, massaman curry, and khao soi. It was pretty solid. The papaya salad tasted very fresh. The curry was flavorful but the beef was chewy and they do upcharge for it. The khao soi was a little disappointing. The noodles were overcooked, chicken was dry, and the red curry soup was more on the watery side and lacking flavor. The soup didn't really stick to the noodles so not as flavorful as I would've liked. Beautiful interior but I'll probably wait until they have some other specials that are appeal to me before returning.“

“First time to Asian Mint. 4 & 1/2 stars. All 4 of us really enjoyed our food selections. The restaurant was clean , bright , and decor was nice. Pleasantly surprised with flowers outside and inside. Restaurant was busy 1:00 Sunday . Plenty of waiters and kitchen run well . Our food : Crispy Red Snapper with broccoli , baby bock-choy , and red bell pepper. Grilled Salmon with teriyaki sauce, broccoli and rice . Pad See lew. wide rice noodle, black soy, egg, broccoli and bok choy. My choice was Asian vegetables Stir fry with Bok choy, cabbage , carrot, snap peas, mushrooms, white onion , green onion, and bamboo shoots . I chose the white meat chicken which was very tender and the sauce was light with a lots of flavor . Very large portion . Leftovers ! This is the first Asian restaurant that truly satisfied my love of vegetables . We did have the green tea ice crème cake. Cake tastes a little like matcha . It was large slice for 4. Planning to go back again very soon. Food was very fresh and not hidden with too much soy sauce. Fish was fresh not fishy . They have good Asian beer choices and the ice tea unsweetened Passion berry is really good . Looks like they have a few locations as well . The Forest lane one“

“A solid if unspectacular Thai lunch spot. Went here with a friend for lunch. Small restaurant next to a couple others with parking in the back. Turn on Reagan into the lot. Full on a Wed afternoon which speaks to good business. Not good for large groups. Has lunch specials on the weekdays! $13 for a selected entree from a list as well as Tom Yum soup. Not a huge deal but prob $2 off plus soup. I got the Thai fried rice with chicken and also got Thai tea. Flavor wasn't too strong which was a welcome surprise given my experience at other Thai places, but it was almost too plain. Thai tea was a little on the strong side and bitter for me as well. Portions were good. Service was decently fast. Not a bad lunch option if you're craving for Thai and in the area.“

“Food ordered: Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew and a Peach Green Tea. Everything tasted so good! Both noodle dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only complaint is I wish the Pad Sew Ew had more noodles. The Pad Thai had way more on the plate but the presentation of the dishes were so cute! I can't wait to come back. Service is wonderful too! It's the kind of service where you order and then get a buzzer and pick your food up at the station. They prepare it on a large wooden tray. You always service yourself water which btw was GOOD water as well! This place is clean and cute! Pricing is a bit on the higher side total was about $46 after tax and tip for two dishes and a drink! WORTH IT in my Opinion!“

“Thai curry has always been one of my favorite types so I was super excited to try jungle curry at Malai. They had many different types of Thai and Vietnamese dishes from noodles to soups and whole fried fish. On weekends they even have Asian style brunch dishes! The shrimp jungle curry (kaeng pa) was different because it is prepared without coconut milk. It definitely brought out the flavor of the curry and was pretty good but I personally prefer the creaminess of curry with milk in it. The flavor was pretty spicy and the veggies were good nonetheless! The pad kee mow had a nice smokiness to it and the noodles still had a nice chewiness to it. I also enjoyed the assortment of veggies and it had lots of tender beef in it as well. I requested 3/5 spice which was around 75% spicy for me. The shrimp lemongrass soup had a tangy, sour flavor to it and was spicier than expected. If you like Tom yum style soups, you will enjoy it. It came with some rice noodles in it as well. They had us try some rice wrapped in a leaf - the rice was slightly hard but the sauce on the side was very good! The peach ginger iced green tea is good if you like a more mild flavored drink and Thai tea is always good to pair with spicy food! They had lots of seating indoors and outdoors --the patio was great for a mild evening out. Service was excellent and the server was super nice. It's also located in a nice area with lots of boutiques and restaurants to walk around and sightsee.“

“Had an amazing dinner at this place today! The staff made me feel incredibly welcome right off the bat, setting the stage for a fantastic meal. In short, great vibes, amazing food, and I'm definitely coming back for more.“

“First time here for lunch with my sister and niece. We were hungry from marathon shopping and decided we needed some Thai food. The service was great and they were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant enough. The restaurant is small and cozy. The menu has a huge variety of dishes although many of them are quite similar. Our food was served quickly and came out nice and hot. The food itself, however, was pretty bland and lacked much of a flavor profile. I was surprised by this. My sister liked her food (shrimp) but said that the shrimp was a little overcooked. She loved her Thai Tea! My niece who is vegan enjoyed her vegetables, rice and tofu. I had the beef, vegetables and rice and was just not impressed. It was bland, the beef was tough and the veggies needed more cooking time. Rice was okay. I felt the prices were too high for what we got. If the food had been excellent, I would have been okay with the high prices. I still feel like this was a decent 4 star overall experience based on the nice people who work there and the excellent service we received.Dietary restrictions: Nice vegan options.“

“This is a really solid Laotian/Thai chain(I thinks it’s a location chain?) The food is always really consistent, and the website for ordering to go is really easy to use and has such nice photos. We love the wings sausage and papaya salad here! One of the best parts is, if you order your meal spicy—it is spicy. Some places still skimp even when you ask for the highest level. “Tried this place for the first time a few days before Christmas. It was completely empty. They sat us and were gracious but made us aware that they were closing early. My companion and I quickly placed an order and the dishes arrived swiftly. They were absolutely delicious!! Loved the various vegetarian options on the vast menu. The spring rolls were yummy and the Thai tea so refreshing! We asked for level 3 spicy but it seems like Level -1. Hope to come back on my visit to Dallas!“
“This is a small but quant corner, you have a variety of stores Tom Thumb being one of them. Then you have numerous eating places like on the border, some kind of Chinese one on the same square as On The Border and many others. Plus you have Chase Bank. You can get in and out from three different sides, coming off of the Dallas Tollway, Parker road or the first street after the Tollway. Makes it convenient and fast to get in and out of there.“

“I ordered the cashew with chicken. The sauce it comes with is heavenly and perfect! Great portion size for the money! The floors seemed pretty clean. The bathroom is one stall at a time which isn't very good. The music was top 40's from the Charlie Puth era. I didn't mind. The inside is simple and goes with the theme of fun Thai culture. All of the service staff were Thai and very nice.“

“Was in the neighborhood for something else. Searched for a Thai restaurant to feed four and found this place on Google and decided to try it. Food was tasty and what was impressive were two things. “Best papaya salad, drunken noodles, thai tea. And sticky rice in Garland. This is not a sexy high end place to take a date. It is a place to have authentic food. We hosted a Thai exchange student. This was the place where she ate food that she was missing. It gets 5 stars because of food not cleanliness. The service is adequate. They will take your order and get food to you but won't be constantly at your table to refill a drink if you should need a refill.“

“As someone who has gone to several afternoon teas, here’s what we really enjoyed:1. Service was great. I loved how polite and friendly our waitress was. She explained what tea we were being served and what each tier had. A true afternoon tea service experience.2. The price point. Price was $45 per person( one of the more affordable teas in the area). A fair price given the amount of food but also factoring in that you’re not paying for location. The restaurant is casual, but nice.3. Food was good, not everything was my favorite but that’s totally ok. I enjoyed trying new things- it’s part of the experience! Our favorites were chicken satay sandwich, curry puffs, cranberry & white chocolate scone, macaroons, and mango mousse cake. I wish they would replace one of the other options with another sweet dessert. The desserts I listed were so good!I’ll be keeping an eye out when there’s a menu change, I’m interested in what they come up with next!“
