“A cigar smokers paradise. The basement is a speak easy make sure you know the password to get past the doorman. Bar on the first floor and a cigar lounge in the penthouse. You can get the same craft cocktails on all the floors. The lounge had great drinks and reasonably priced cigars. The ambiance was just right foe conversation and music that wasnt blaring. “Moxies sets the bar high for neighboring restaurants and is a great example of what what makes dining in special- great food, mood setting atmosphere and service that is attentive/friendly/cares/presents well. I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. Both are a textural experience full of punchy and delicious Asian flavors. Just yum!“

“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation.She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“
“Good upscale pizza spot, even if it is a bit chaotic. Once you finally find parking in this patch of Southlake retail and walk up, the fair-sized covered patio can be pretty inviting. However, if you brave the indoor area, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a college town pizza pub for the middle-aged. The wooden interior and high ceilings combine for a noisy environment once it starts getting busy. After being seated, we watched servers and food runners scurry around from table to table, trying to keep up while simultaneously missing an opportunity to greet us and get drinks started (took a good 5 minutes to reveal who was working our table).But honestly, these are minor gripes in the big picture here. Once they arrived, our server was friendly and quick on the drinks when they weren't rushing between tables. We opted for the family dinner, which is both a good deal and a lot of leftovers if you have 4 people or less. We added a meatball appetizer, and the seasoned meat and marinara went great with the perfectly toasted bread. The pretzel that came with the dinner package was okay, but honestly felt more like a giant, twisted breadstick (the queso that we paid extra for didn't do it any favors, either). The farm style salad was actually really delicious, probably helped by coating the whole bowl with ranch. This is also the point of the dinner when we realized that we needed to hurry up and finish our first course(s), as table real estate was VERY limited for us, and a big pizza was soon to be en route. The Classic Rossa came out piping hot, but still soft enough that toppings were hanging on for dear life as I scarfed each delicious slice. If you're an older pizza fan, or just a family that's had enough CiCi's for a while, you'll like the step up in class this pizza place provides.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and salads“

We order the same dish, a fantastic fillete mignon accompanied with a nice bottle of Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley branded Inscription. Mr Chad served our table with elega ce and good taste. “My first visit here was during a pop up they had for Christmas and was super cool. Bought a couple of the tiki mugs, I stopped by a couple of weeks ago when I was in town again on a Monday night and the bartender was "bald nick" apparently multiple Nick's work there. He was awesome, gave super service and was personable, how that guy doesn't have his own bar is beyond me, he was that good. The drinks were extremely well priced and equally as good. “Slow service... Kind of takes forever for everything. It was our first time here and the entrance is confusing. Also the valet doesn't tell you to validate your parking and neither did our waiter. There was only 3 other tables aside from ours but everything was slow. They bring out Champagne complimentary but we don't drink. Still nice though. I don't think we'll be back, our favorite and usual is capital grille but we were trying to give somewhere else a shot. They also need a dessert menu it's terrible they have to recite even dessert and my the second one you've already forgot what they had. Some of us are visual. “Had so much fun. The band D.O.B. did a great job. Found out they perform every Friday night. I love how it's a live band on one side and a DJ on the other side of the club so that you can enjoy either side. The food was good, and I loved the fried pickles. I will definitely be back. First it’s a cool looking place with different little rooms, a back patio, and a cute little bar. I decided on a personal chicken pesto pizza and ate it ALL (not typical I eat all my food even a personal pizza). My bartender (I think her name was Monica) instantly became my bestie. They have LOTS of beer options! I tried a lavender beer. I only planned to have one with my pizza but like I said Monica… I ended up staying and having 4 lol.“

Walking in I was greeted right away (later we found out it was the owner). I had a margarita which was good.I ordered the seafood ceviche which was amazing. They served it with saltines, but I asked for tostadas and they gave them to me no problem. It was really really good. Then the mixed fajitas came out piping hot with some homemade tortillas. There's African music in the background, sports on the TVs, a full-service bar, and a nice, comfortable seating area of tables and booths. We'll be going back for more. Between our three diners we had sambusas to start, then lamb kabob dinner, chicken kabob dinner, and beef stew. The spinach is amazing, the fou fou outstanding, and don't miss their dessert - it's kind of a bread/biscuit/not too sweet an ending.
