The gumbo and cracklings are always a favorite, and my sons enjoyed the stuffed wings and mac/brisket balls. “First time that my wife and I have eaten at this restaurant. Our waitperson was right on point. She made excellent recommendations and provided excellent service without being on top of us.Food was great! We started with fried green tomatoes. Excellently battered and tart. They arrived nice and hot. My wife had the fried catfish, yams, and greens. I had a small bite of the catfish. It was seasoned well, batter had a crunch and was not at all greasy. I had the smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes and greens. All items were good. I particularly liked the liquor of the greens. Portions were great. So, we didn't get a dessert.The only reason I didn't give the atmosphere a 5 is because the large window in the front made me feel like I was in an aquarium.It did bother my wife, the windows are tinted. But, some blinds or some drapery would be helpful.Support this local business!“
“I found it to be a very nice place and the prices were really low, I was positively surprised because the food is delicious and cheap, it is close to a school that's why the prices are low, I will definitely return to try more things on the menu“

“The location is nice and easy to get to. Plenty of parking, so no worries. The building and buildings around it look nice. Inside the store looked nice, clean, and organized. The food menu has plenty on it. I ordered the three meat plate, proportions were well. The food tasted great, no complaints on the chicken, brisket, and turkey. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. I would definitely recommend the place for everyone to try. Definitely would return.“

“We don't go out often so when we do our expectations are high. We asked for a table and we're seated immediately even though there was a wait. Our server was fantastic and the food was excellent.Kid-friendliness: Cheddar's has always been very welcoming for kids“

I know I should not be eating fried foods but every now and then I will hit this place up. Lol“
