“Visited today late afternoon and had s wonderful meal. Food was delicious. Me notoriously adding salt/pepper/sauces to my liking to food when not seasoned enough and not having to do that here completely surprised me. The gumbo, chicken Piccata, blackened flounder, parmesan crusted flounder and drinks were great!“

The guy with the tattoos with the low hair cut was so customer service oriented. The tall guy with his hair in a pony tail was amazing. This was the best customer service I've had in a long time. The food came out fast. I will come back.“

“My husband & I have been going here for yrs as it’s one of our favorites. The Catfish Mardi Gras is out of this world! Other favorites are crawfish boil, shrimp, crab, crab cakes are packed w crab, Cajun bread pudding to die for, breakfast until 2 is also fantastic. It’s a crazy busy place & servers try to keep up as best as possible so give em a little break and patience. We have our favorites like Robbie the mgr, Ruth server. Their jobs are tough and they have turnover due to the pace being fast and hard but trust me the wait is worth it. I hold my husband I wish they’d take out all the tables during crawfish season & put in picnic tables end to end and shared space on them. I think it would make for a fun way to dine within our community and people would visit more. And put chairs n tables on sidewalks and expand patio. He’ll, expand the entire restaurant please! But most of ALL I SO wish they could handle doing Uber Eats!! Oh and best and I mean best authentic Dirty rice and PoBoy bread is also deliciously authentic!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and families presentWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to pull up a wheelchair“

Ordering was super easy and I was so surprised that the meal came with a mini frosted sugar cookie! Service was top notch and I loved how quaint and cute the atmosphere of the restaurant felt. “My family and I checked out Granny Dee’s Kitchen, a cool black-owned spot we wanted to support. The elderly man who greeted us was so friendly, and we didn't mind waiting for him to take our orders. We ended up spending over $100 for four of us, which wasn't bad. I liked how they have different stuff on different days, so we went for Friday's menu. The meats were cooked well and tasted great, but the black-eyed peas needed more seasoning and cooking time. I loved the collard greens, but Mom found them too bitter. The mac & cheese was awesome, and the pound cake was moist and yummy, especially when heated up. But the sweet tea wasn't our thing—it tasted kind of fake. Overall, Granny Dee’s Kitchen was a nice spot for lunch. Everyone's got their own taste, so you gotta try it yourself. We'd totally go back to try more stuff.“
