“Came on a sunday evening. Sat at the bar. Service was prompt, polite and friendly. Bartender (richelle) made us nice margaritas.Food was okay. The salsas lacked flavor.Nachos were not worth the price. The tamale was not good. The enchilada (ground meat) lacked any spice.Lupe tortillas, sotos, Los cucos and mamacitas ... al local chains have better food for the price.“

“What a wonderful atmosphere and experience! I'm not exaggerating when I say the food was excellent. It was made with care, not overly salty, not overly seasoned and not undercooked. Just tasty! The service I couldn't have asked for better or more polite and happy employees. And, the atmosphere -- loved dining outside. Something that surprised me: the outside was just as clean as inside. Prices are reasonable, especially for the portions. I wasn't able to finish my entire meal but my grandson didn't have any problem polishing it off. Very happy customers! We will be back to try the other yummy looking dishes.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food on there for kids to choose from, lovely atmosphere, no alcohol.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and no curb to navigate. The doors are wide enough to facilitate a wheelchair. the tables have single chairs to roll a wheelchair up to a table.“

“Puerta Vallarta is one of those great restaraunts that keeps you coming back. The food is prepared very well, the portions are huge, and the variety is all there. Not to mention the friendly, attentive staff. I cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10!“

“Everything was so good. The staff kept all of the sodas and waters topped off and never let our bowl of chips get empty. The guacamole was really really good. The five of us in my party all ordered different things and all of it was perfect.“

“Family owned with owners on site. The basics (tacos, most enchiladas, fajitas, tamales) taste like good, traditional TxMx should and get 5 stars. It's not a fancy place, but it's comfortable and clean. We love that we can hear each other in conversation. We eat here or get our food to go often -- about once a week. Many of their specials are quite good; My fish taco was delicious. The shrimp in the shrimp taco may have been from the Gulf of Mx but didn't taste like it, and I don't like other shrimp; however, they said next time I can have another fish taco instead of shrimp. However, not everyone is as sensitive to the flavor of their shrimp as I am. I really didn't care for the spinach enchilada recipe. The traditional and strawberry margaritas were excellent. Our server was very nice, just new and learning the ropes.“

“Excellent service and excellent food. There isn't much atmosphere, but everyone was so attentive, it just didn't matter and the food was delicious, so it really did not matter.Vegetarian options: I just asked for my big taco salad to be vegetarian, and they made it.“

“I typically don’t try new places but I wanted some fried green tomatoes and not growing up on this side of the county I had no idea where to get them so I did some research to find out no where had them fast forward to dinner I googled “places to eat near me” and this place popped up second or third on the list and I clicked it and they had fried green tomatoes so I ordered those and the three cheese avocado panini and that was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile I went from really not wanting anything and ate almost everything I will definitely be heading back there!!“

“My family's favorite restaurant of all in the area. Everything comes out hot, ready and timed to finish appetizers or chips n salsa. Delicious crafted margaritas and even the "house" 'Rita holds up to any other eatery. And then... tres leches cake. To die for! You can get street tacos, fajitas, tortas, and a bomb flatiron steak. If you love the veggies, the vegetable quesadillas and all veggie fajita platter are the best on the planet. Ok, I'm getting hungry.“

“This is a counter service place worth a large variety of food. The BLT had too much bacon, if that is possible. I think it had a dozen slices. It was crazy! The sweet potato fries were great. The stuffed avocados were a hit. They offer lots of combo plates.“

“Let me tell you about El Patio, right here in Angleton. It’s my favorite spot when I’m craving some good Tex-Mex. The place is at 100 W Magnolia St, and it’s got that hometown vibe that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in1.The food? It’s legit. I’m talking about chips and salsa that you can’t stop munching on, and fajitas that sizzle all the way to your table. They’ve got this blue margarita that’ll knock your socks off – it’s the perfect blend of strong and sweet2.Now, I’ve heard some folks say the service can be hit or miss, but in my experience, it’s always been on point. The staff treat you like family, and they’re quick to bring out your order, even when they’re slammed2.They’re open most days from 11 AM to 9 PM, and a bit later on Thursdays through Saturdays, till 10 PM. So, it’s easy to swing by for lunch or dinner. Plus, with a 4.5-star rating, you know they’re doing something right1.So, if you’re around Angleton and got a hankering for some Tex-Mex that feels like home, drop by El Patio. Trust me, it’s worth it.“

“Stopped by Phat Boyz for breakfast while in the area for 4th of July weekend. AMAZING food! I had the migas breakfast platter (migas potatoes and beans) and my husband had the phat boy taco. WOW! Not only are the portions large, the flavors are amazing. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet. This is a definite MUST have breakfast spot. We will definitely make this a stop when we are back in town.“
