The chips are not greasy. Big frozen margaritas are $5. They're pretty strong. We arrived at about 3 p.m. Lunch specials last through 4 p.m. That's great and rarely heard of. I ordered spinach quesadillas. They're $10.50. You get four with sour cream and a little bit of guacamole. They're pretty good. Our waiter was really nice. I'll definitely go back if in the area of Stafford.“

The bartenders are always nice and pleasant. The food is awesome. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with the fajita beef nachos. But what i recommend is the Pollo Marisco which is a chicken breast smothered in a creamy sauce with shrimp and crawfish served on top of it; with your choice of beans and a side of rice. Their Cadillac Margaritas are the best! Frozen or on the rocks!“
“First off, I had ZERO idea this restaurant was at all affiliated with Ninfa’s. The level at which I miss Ninfa’s is hard to measure. After reading all the stories on the menu I was so ready to order. Looking at the menu I knew I had to order the carnitas. To say they were perfect would be a gross understatement. Crispy on the outside tender and fall apart juicy on the inside. Each bite was heaven. The service was great. Our drinks never emptied and the server was on it. The margaritas stayed full and we were there for a few hours. This is a meal that I will remember for a long time. When I am back in Houston, I will return.“

BUT Pappasito was so great it moved to my #1 food restaurant to eat. The fajita broke easy. The rice and bean are great. Avocado and piccolo de Gallo were good and fresh. cheese enchilada was not drowned in the sauce that it overpowered the enchilada like other places. Chips and salsa were great that even my daughter was eating. With every bit, my taste buds were going crazy. Restaurant is actually very big than what it looks like. Again, this is my #1 restaurant. I haven't tried delivery or to go because it never tastes the same with all the food mix, and depending on how long it gets to, you might get dry and soggy. I recommend eating there. “I have been coming to Lopez Mexican restaurant for over 30 years. This is the first time that my waiter was very unattentive to my needs and slow. I received dirty plates at my table. I had to wait for 25 minutes to get my waiters attention. There were others who came in after us and received the Lopez PROPER experience. We were constantly dismissed as guest in the restaurant and this REALLY breaks my heart that I was treated SO horribly. I can only hope it's gets better.“

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a very welcoming smile from the staff, the waitstaff is amazing here! Food is wonderful! I had the Chilaquiles with green sauce and they were delicious! I asked if I could substitute the chicken or beef with Carne Guisada… right away I was told “sure thing!”, no hesitation, no charge.. very accommodating!! Homemade flour tortillas, too!“

Whats not to love about that. Great flavors. The street corn was also really good. We got that as an appetizer. I got the Blazing Chicken Wrap and the Turban Taco. The turban taco was unreal. “We came in and immediately the manager, Armando welcomed us in and was wondering how we were; very nice man. Also when we were seated at our table, our waiter Chad immediately came over and was very kind and generous and polite. Throughout the meal he made sure our drinks were filled and we had enough chips and salsa. When our food came in it was the best it has ever been very delicious food. While eating Chad made sure everything was okay and tasted good while the manager, Armado came by and asked if everything tasted good and if we liked it. It was wonderful! And for being kind and polite, Chad surprised us with Sopaipilla's they were the best and they had powdered sugar on them with honey and a strawberry.
