“Recently under new management but we're happy the food is still delicious. The veggie and tofu pho is absolutely great for vegetarians. We know most don't order it, but as vegetarians, we are happy this was on the menu. They made it in a separate pot and the broth was so flavorful. We go here just for that pho.“
“Just received the overnight shipping box from DCO, just in time to have dumplings for the whole family for weekend lunch. He ate 2, she had never finished a dumpling, but today she ate one. The youngest daughter said "I'm sick of dumplings..." (Because I live in a small city, I buy New York dumplings: the dough is thick, dry, with little filling, quickly fills the stomach, and gets boring when eaten.) But my daughter just ate a few bites and asked her mother for a second one ?. So fun. The grandparents complimented while eating: the dough was soft and thin, not dry like other places, the filling was medium, the sausage was delicious and not too smelly, the best thing was a quail egg, not a chicken egg like other places, the filling was very well seasoned. salty not bland. Overall, it's too standard and too delicious. Everyone ate one. Very convenient for packing lunch for your daughter to go to school or taking with you on travel in the car or on the plane. After heating the microwave, there is no strong smell like other places. I ordered 6 boxes to try but will probably have to order more. Take a photo and send it to your sister-in-law right away because she is also planning to order Food from DCO“
“Enjoyed the food here. For the entree we got the pork belly garlic fried rice and shrimp dumpling omelette. The garlic fried rice was very flavorful and the pork belly was very crispy and had tons of flavor to it. For the drinks we got peach lemongrass orange tea and a kumquat coconut water. The peach lemongrass orange tea was good. Didn't really taste the kumquat in the kumquat coconut water drink. For dessert we went with a taro tofu pudding dessert. Enjoyed the meal. Favorite was the pork belly. Great service and the gentleman that took our order was very helpful.“
“Currently our favorite spot for bun bo hue in the DFW area. Always recommend to go to a restaurant that specializes in BBH if you know you’re going to get BBH and this is the spot! Bowls include all traditional toppings including Huyet (coagulated pork blood) so you know it’s legit :)“
“Had the pho with fatty brisket and lean brisket, egg rolls, spring roles, and shaken beef rice. Everything was a 10/10. Highly recommended and will definitely will be coming back! In my opinion, this place is authentic and their staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their plates.“
“Wow. This place is absolutely amazing. The responsibly source their beef, have WONDERFUL pho, super-friendly staff, and a killer atmosphere. This is definitely one of the best places we have eaten at in the Rockwall area. Disfruten/enjoy!! ?????“
“I got bun bo hue. It was really good. The soup was nice to drink too. It reminds me of spicy chinese soup. I got size small and that was enough for me. If you need more, I suggest getting a medium size (large size is too big). The Vietnamese iced coffee isn't sweet enough for me. Their soybean drink tasted better.“
“We received excellent services from owners to waiters. The music? Mr. Hoang Dao is a well trained and experts with years of experiences in his hands. Just beautiful. Foods? Excellent! The Luc Lac Salmon Salad is fresh, crisp, tasty. The sea food pan fried noodles is well prepared. The Bun Bo is delicious. The Martell XO? Ones must have. Overall, it was a well spent night at the club. We'll be back for sure.“
“Thank you Pho 544!!! They were able to help me celebrate my friend’s birthday today. I came in hoping they would be able to make some party trays with a few hours notice. They absolutely delivered and I’m happy to say everyone loved the fried bao buns and egg rolls. There was barely any leftover for me to take back home.Oh…and I have their special combo pho every other week. Bun bo hue is amazing too. I love that I can get it as spicy as I want it.“
“Quoc Bao is my all-time favorite place for banh mi sandwiches. Their bread is amazing, and I've loved it since I was a kid. The quality is always top-notch, especially my favorite, the chicken banh mi. Plus, they have a great deal: buy 2, get 1 free. I always tell everyone I know about this place because it's such a good value for the delicious food.“
“Hello everybody !!! My friend bought me some vermicelli soup here for me to eat. It's really delicious, rich flavor, true to vermicelli soup in Vietnam!!! ?. Will stop by to support more. Wishing Bep Que Restaurant more and more customers!!!“
“FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz••••? WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: their bun Bo hue! It’s a spicy Vietnamese beef noodle soup that is super popular. I would say after the new owner change at Pho Tay Do down the street, Pho An is the better competitor.? THE VIBE: Classic Vietnamese hole in the wall. Just wear your most casual bum clothes haha.? PRICE: ~$25? WOULD I COME BACK? Yes.••••Overall Rating: 9/10- Solid Vietnamese food in Richardson, TX! I was recommended this place by my coworker and she was so right this place has some solid pho and bun Bo ?- Richardson is pretty far for me but I would definitely say this is worth the drive for the bun Bo since it’s a speciality dish. You can find pho mostly anywhere that’s solid but this bun Bo is worth the visit!- The bun Bo isn’t overly spicy but it’s definitely spicy enough to where it’s packed with flavor. The beef was really chewy to where it was inedible but tbh I don’t eat a lot of meat so I was fine eating the broth and noodles because the meat taste was still there ofc. But if that’s a concern of yours, it might be hit or miss because I’m assuming it was just a bad meat day.- My mom’s chicken pho was packed with flavor! With these prices you’re really not losing anything.“
“Really like the bun rieu here!Edited to add their banh canh and hu tieu is SO DANG GOOD!! I eat here probably 4-5 times a month lol.Ca kho is good but I am picky with catfish, it’s easy for it to smell like the ocean but that’s a personal preference. The flavor is ON POINT! Salmon kho is really good and more mild on the fish taste. maybe one day they’ll add it to the menu like they added banh canh. The banh canh noodles were perfect. Tastes like it’s made fresh not frozen. really really good.Rau muong is delicious as well. Can’t wait to try their canh chua, snow pea leaves, and Tom rang“
“Amazing! My family and I love trying different places for Pho and this is one of our new favorites! Prompt service, food came hot with amazing flavor, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Serving sizes were HUGE and the bowls were actually full (not %99 broth and very little noodle and meat). 10/5 stars!“
“This is my go to pho place. It gets insanely busy but the staff is quick to turn over tables, and get people seated. Food also comes out quickly. They run a good fast ship at this place.I always get the grilled pork bahn mi and my partner gets the medium pho and we share the food. Tasty food, i have to branch out and try other dishes, the other patrons’ food looks incredible too. Lots of Vietnamese people come here so you know its good!!“
“Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)Review:Đông Hải Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The home-style food hit the spot, offering authentic Vietnamese flavors that were both comforting and satisfying. The tea was hot and fresh, adding to the overall delightful experience. The inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend Đông Hải Restaurant.“
“Pho Bamboo is one of many choices for Vietnamese food in the area. I like it because the staff are younger and speak better English, so my anxiety about what I'm ordering is much lower. This visit I ordered shrimp spring rolls and a small combination pho. Yes, that pho in the image is a small. The combo will always include a piece of tendon, which I'm afraid I just can't stomach, but the broth is tasty, the portion immense.I do usually order bun bo hue when I go, but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. They will provide you with a large plastic container to go if you need it, though.Wife and daughter also like the butter fried wings and the vermicelli dishes.Warning: the young staff are constantly on their phones. But keep in mind, this is the default state for younger people and their service is still immediate, quick, polite and gratifying.Small combo pho, spring rolls, $17 before tip. (1.99 for pho, 3.99 for rolls.)“
“The banh mi here isn’t exactly authentic, but they do hit all the right notes. The bread isn’t a fine Vietnamese baguette, but it is lightly crispy on the outside with a soft, fluffy crumb and good flavor. We tried the grilled pork and the brisket (it is Texas after all) and the salty seasoned meat paired well with the cilantro, pickled carrots, and cucumber. The carrots are lightly pickled - still lightly crunchy, but lends the sandwich additional flavor without being too sour. The vermicelli bun bowl was packed full and served hot. It was also flavorful and delicious, but we recommend mixing the fish sauce in a little at a time because putting all of it in was a little too much for our taste. Even so, we devoured the whole bowl. The restaurant is VERY kid friendly with a toddler play area indoors and a small slide set up in their outdoor eating area.Parking: Parking is under a gas station cover - there are no gas pumps anymore - just park as if you are getting gas!“
“I had never had Vietnamese food before and was very skeptical, but I tell you that I had been missing out on some of the best food that I had ever eaten in my life. This dish was so delicious and fresh. If you have never eaten Vietnamese food before you are missing out.Go check this restaurant out.I am blessed to have eaten my first Vietnamese food at Pho Bang Restaurant.Great Food!!!“
“Excellent pho and grilled pork. We specifically ordered the ox tail pho and the grilled pork chop because of what other reviewers mentioned, and we were glad we did. We are already planning on returning to eat their food again!Signature Pork Chop Rice Plate $13.99 - This pork chop is served with rice, a fried egg, steamed egg meatloaf, and fish sauce. The pork chop had excellent charred grilled pork flavor but was juicy and tender. I'd definitely order this again.Deluxe Pho $18.99 - Rice noodles served in a special broth with oxtail, short ribs, and steak on the side. The broth was phenomenal but unlike most pho broth because it didn't have a strong sweetness or powerful herbs and spices like clove. It was a clean meaty broth that was a pleasure to taste when piping hot (which is how the dish is served - boiling hot in a clay pot). The steak is provided raw so you can cook it in the broth to your desired doneness (in my case, medium rare, so a quick swirl through the hot broth until the color became a pale pink). The oxtail adds a flavorful and texturally interesting beefiness while the short ribs, buried at the bottom of the bowl, were the star protein for me. The broth is served boiling hot, so it quickly loosened up the pho served on the side once I put it in and the bean sprouts cooked through nicely while still having a broth that was hot (but not too hot) to consume with the pho and beef. (Often, pho places serve hot broth that becomes somewhat closer to lukewarm after putting the cold bean sprouts in.) This was such a good pho that we are already planning on going back.P9. Brisket & Flank Pho $10.50 - This is a more traditional pho with a saltier, sweeter, and more seasoned (cloves weren't overpowering but definitely more noticeable ) than the Deluxe Pho. The noodles are good and the toppings fresh. At $10.50 this is a good value for a high quality pho.“
“Excellent Pho, spring rolls, whatever.... Always quick service, and consistent great taste. Surprised this location is not busier because the portions and quality is excellent for a Pho restaurant... but maybe it's just location related? Anyhow, five stars because the food always tastes great, is prepared and served quickly relative to dish being ordered, and the dining area is always clean and quaint. Owners are always friendly and helpful. My only gripe would be having to request extra napkins. Wish they had dispensers or paper towels at each table.Other than that everything has been perfect. I've probably ate here on 15-20 occasions and always pleased.“
“This is the best tasting Cha Lua (Vietnamese Ham) that I have found in the area. They are full of flavors, meaty and moist unlike the one found at the grocery store which has too much flours/fillers and fats. The shop is cozy/clean and the owner is very friendly. I purchased 20 Cha Lua and she gifted me two extras. There are so many other varieties of Vietnamese Ham and desert/snacks that I will need to try on my next visit. I highly recommend that you should stop by and judge for yourself.“
“Did not want to share! Our pocket list! Best Pho place with high CP value! Good portion of food with less $10 per dish. Delicious grilled pork, egg rolls, pho, and ice Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk! Once you have food here, you think about them or dream about them.“
“Saigon Block offers plenty of Viet foods. I tried their Ca Nuong Da Gion and Combo of Nem nuong and chao tom. 7/10 in my opinion. Staff members were not too attentive and caring. Decent price. Not too expensive nor cheap. Good time here with my friends. Will be back!“
“Bida Rang Dong is a must-visit! Despite arriving late post-party when they were nearly closed, the owner graciously welcomed my friends and me, ensuring we could still enjoy our time. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Their beer selection is excellent, complemented perfectly by the most delicious dried squid. It was the perfect spot to unwind and have a great time. Highly recommend for a wonderful experience!“
“Server was very clearly new, or very inexperienced. No plates, no silverware, pretty bad service overall, had to ask or constantly remind them for basic things. The food was delicious though, the crab rangoons were amazing! I also got the cherry blossom sushi rolls and they were delicious.“
“Bun mam, which is only served on Sundays, is the best I’ve had in the US. The seafood is fresh and perfectly prepared. The squid was buttery soft. The soup was delicious! My only regret is that I forgot to take a picture before I finished the bowl!“
“Pho was delicious, service was not so good. Had to literally wave them down for things I needed. They didn't come to the table at all after they brought the pho out. You've gotta check on a customer at least once after you bring their dish out.“
“Fast and friendly service, clean restaurant and clean restroom. We ordered shrimp spring rolls and pho, food was served within 7-10 mins. The woman taking the orders was very sweet and was very patient when we asked what she meats recommends for pho. Overall, would definitely come back and try other meals on the menu.“
