“My husband and I frequently eat here and love it! The quality is good, and we like that they offer the different combos. We usually get the combo for 2 and add on a bing fen. We have a heavy taste, especially my husband who is from Chengdu, so we always ask them to add extra spice to their spicy broth. We found that we have to ask for extra spice to get to a similar level to what we were used to having in Sichuan. Their century eggs are some of the best we've had in the area, so we get them every visit. We are slowly working our way through the other sides to find another go-to side. We personally were not a fan of the starch noodles. The takoyaki, while not terrible, didn't really go well with the flavors of the spicy broth. They also didn't have fish flakes the time we ordered. Those are the only two sides we won't order again, but we haven't tried them all yet. The service is usually good. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is TINY. We normally go during off hours, but I imagine you may have to wait during peak times. The ambiance is laid-back.“

“Celiac friendly. I've been to both locations (Carrollton + Plano) and both times the waiters were accommodating to my gluten allergy. Not everything on the menu is gluten-free, so be weary and double check with your waiter. The majority of the items I ate were the meats on the skewers and some greens.“

“The orange beef is too saucy, but other than that everything else is delicious. Especially the garlic salt and pepper shrimp, the orange chicken and the beef fried rice or all delicious. What I don't like is that the waiters stand over your shoulder trying to peek at the tip amount which I think is inconsiderate and unprofessional“

“My uncle took us here for a quick lunch before the solar eclipse. The lunch specials here are way too generous: less than ten dollars for a full sized dish. For three people, it meant we paid $30 to get three full sized dishes to share! I assumed it was going to be served with rice on the same plate so we'd each have our own, but it was served family style. The food also came out quite quickly, which was excellent for us and the dog who was waiting for us :) I wish this restaurant existed near where I live now, because it would 100% be a go to for lunch and takeout.“

“I thought it was going to take forever because the line was out the door but it only took 30 minutes. Cheaper than all the other buffets. Better tasting food, very friendly stuff. More options to pick from than any other buffet I have ever been to. 10/10 would recommend.“

“If you can get past the peeling wallpaper, you will understand why I give this hole in the wall 5 Stars! Order the "Mapo Tofu with fish" and the "Crispy Sesame Beef" and your life will never be the same. Pack any leftovers and add more cubed tofu to the mapo sauce when you get home. Trust me!“

“This Taiwanese food has been established for sometimes. It is great place for breakfast and lunch. This restaurant has a lot of regular customers. This is local well know Taiwanese restaurant. They carry typical Taiwanese street food. We got the Taiwanese Rice roll. It has fried pork floss a fried dough. It just like in Taiwan. We also got salty soy milk which my wife favorite. She likes it for breakfast. The last dish is the beef pancake. The slice beef shank is delicious for the in filling. Overall is good Taiwanese restaurant. Definitely come back for more especially for the deli lunch specials.“

“The owner owns the restaurant for more than 30 years. Both chefs have worked with her for years. One chef is 71 years old and the other is 81 years old. The food taste like home! We really enjoy the food, and have been visiting since 2007. The sauce of spicy dumplings is home made by the owner! You can only taste it here! The must order is three cups intensities and Taiwanese popcorn chicken! Of course, Taiwanese pork stews rice.“

“This is my go to for take out Chinese in the area. They have best egg drop soup and sesame chicken. Service is always fast and friendly. Lunch specials are a good deal. I have only eaten inside a couple of times but it was pleasant and clean. It is a little dated on the inside but that seems to be a requirement as most Chinese restaurants seem to have the same issue.“

“The food was really good. But the restaurant is operated short handed. On a busy sunday lunch there was just one server taking the orders, bringing out the food, taking care of payments and everything else. Wow, seeing that, no matter how good the food is, I might not go back. They also charge 20% gratuity automatically in all invoices regardless of number of people. To make things worse, gratituity is not distributed to the server and kept by the owner, both the above points are illegal. My wife and I worked in restaurants in our college days therefore for us this was the deal breaker.“

“Bring your appetite and your family. Great food and service but portion sizes are family style. My husband and I each ordered an entree but one would have been enough for both of us. There are no side orders so when I ordered fried rice we ended up taking home 2 days worth of fried rice. Prices were fair and reasonable.“

“My favorite Chinese food restaurant of all time. I grew up in Plano but live in Atlanta now. Every time I come back to visit, Little Hunan is a must-go. If you're looking for the best food, it doesn't get better than this place. The family that owns it are so nice and authentic. Give it a try. It's the best kept secret in DFW in my humble opinion.“

“All I got to say best to call in, or you going to be late getting back to work, if you on lunch break, and you just have 30 minutes you going to be late, and sometimes they tell you a time but don't listen to it, at least you have a hour for lunch, you will be just fine.“

They make us feel welcome and at home. They know what dishes we like and where we like to sit. You won't be disappointed, give them a try! Their rolls, dumplings and Chowmein are amongst the best in the metroplex.“

“Conscientious businessmanI ordered two bowls of mixed noodles (with soup) and couple's lung slicesIt's delicious, the soup base is rich and fragrant, and the noodles are generous.Takeaway: The boss will separate the wet and dry takeaways into fresh noodles.Dine-in: clean and hygienic, warm and friendly service. We also came here on the recommendation of a friend, and found that many customers came here to eat one bowl, and then took a few takeaway bowls home. Some were not local customers and even took them back to other states. The ingredients are very fresh, and the soup base has the same taste as home, using American ingredients and seasonings. It comforts the domestic stomach and is safe and secure.“

“We ordered for pickup 3 large as follows: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hunan Chicken and Garlic Chicken. The food was hot and fresh and very tasty, the only issue we has we didn't see any difference between Garlic and Hunan Chicken. It would be helpful to post pictures of the most ordered dishes on your website or list the ingredients for each dish. Food is good but more info about the dishes would be great.“

“During my three-day visit to Dallas for the solar eclipse, I had the pleasure of dining at Tai Zong, which quickly became my favorite culinary destination. This upscale eatery delivers an authentic Sichuan experience, and each dish I ordered was a delight. The Sautéed Pig Feet with Pepper was a revelation, masterfully blending the heat of spicy pepper with the pungent aroma of garlic, creating a palate-expanding adventure. The Stewed Beef in Red Wine was nothing short of divine, offering a heavenly tenderness in the flank cut that married well with the depth of the red wine reduction.Their House Special Chicken in Hot Pot could be described as a superior twist on the classic three cup chicken, providing a rich and satisfying flavor profile. Lastly, theBraised Baby Cabbage in Broth was a celebration of simplicity, highlighting the tender heart of the vegetable in a clear, nourishing broth that was both healthy and flavorful. Each dish at Tai Zong is a testament to the rich and diverse offerings of Sichuan cuisine, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.“

“I've been searching for a reasonably priced Chinese establishment with great food for a while now. Well, my hunt is over! This place is not super visible from the road so luckily I found it through Yelp. I wanted some variety to ensure they weren't just good at one thing so I tried: kung pao chicken, combo fried rice, and combo lo mein and all were delicious! And via the empty containers between my husband and myself, they're my new go to spot! AND they were friendly and welcoming when I arrived and the servings were plentiful.“

“My Chinese friend said it was very authentic. The food was hot being it is Szechuanese and it was well balanced of deliciousness. Service was quick. They do not serve beer or liquor so we did BYOD. I would say the restaurant could use an upgrade on the restroom, furniture, and decor. The food was so good that we will be back.“

“If you're in the mood for Chinese or Korean noodles and don't want to decide until you get there, head over to Legacy Food Court in Plano off Legacy near Jusgo and Mitsuwa Asian grocery stores. You will see a variety of Asian restaurants within a food hall atmosphere where you can sample Chinese dumplings, noodles, beef rolls from LJ Kitchen, lamb hand-pulled noodles next door, Hakka rice and noodle dishes, Korean seafood Jjamppong/ jjajjangmyeong a few doors down. I highly recommend LJ Kitchen for the amazing flavors and textures not common in traditional American Chinese cuisine like ma-la beef Offal noodle soup, shredded potato cold dish for starters. Owners are really nice and don't take my shortcuts with their food. Their green leek pie, pan fried buns, potstickers are really good. Ask for hot oil and black vinegar to add to their soups, noodles, dumpling dipping sauces. You might see me there.“

“Eggrolls were delicious, along with the eggdrop soup, the egg fried rice, sesame chicken, fried wontons, we really loved it!Vegetarian options: There is a menu on the back that is offered for vegetarians and they also have many tofu options, as well.Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu, but the quality is extraordinary! The nuggets are not just frozen Dino nuggets that restaurants like to upcharge for, these are real chicken cuts that are battered in sweet and sour breading, sauce is provided on the side. They were very kind to my children, and they loved the food!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or uneven surfaces, high tables, and placard parking available.“

“My wife and I came here as we decided on Chinese for dinner. I live in Sachse and we passed by a few times but thought it was fast food. This restaurant has very nice decor, pleasant customer service and delicious options. I ordered cashew chicken with wonton soup. The chicken was very fresh along with the vegetables and the rice. The wonton soup was very good and had 3 big pieces of wonton in them. The portions we're bigger than expected so I took half home. My wife ordered the orange chicken which she really liked. It has been years since I found a really good Chinese restaurant and I'm looking forward to try other dishes.“
