“I came into San Angelo to have brunch before completing other tasks. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and eggs. Abby (I believe that's her name) was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my time until her male colleague began rushing me to leave (had not finished my meal). If I return I'll definitely be sure to ask for only Abby so I can enjoy a tasty and chill meal.“
“This is a quiet and quaint Italian restaurant. I ate chicken Florentine with fresh spinach and cream sauce. It was delicious! They serve fresh and hot bread but it does not come with any oil containing spices. I wish they served that with their bread! Overall this place is excellent!“
“Zero One never fails to be amazing! I don’t do reviews often, but the reason I’m doing this one is because Braden was absolutely magical! He was warm, funny, kind, and knew what we needed before we needed it. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. I’d highly recommend Zero One on Beauregard and definitely ask for Braden as your rockstar server. We all felt like he was friend we’ve known for years. A++++“
“I always like to stop in for a quick visit when I want a drink and a snack. I love to choose a few different beers, and see what’s new. Also, some favorites I want to try again. The food is good, and much better than average bar food. They have an outdoor area, where you can bring the kids and dog if you want. Friendly bartenders, sports on tv, and clean restrooms.“
“For our Dinner Saturday Night my Lovely Wife and I decided to go out to eat because it's been a while - since Friday night. Now where do we go is the question - and that's just what she asked me. I'm the one to decide and I came up with a goodie. I said; "How about the Cork & Pig, we haven't been there for some time now." She totally agreed. I spent the day running errands and cleaning up the Vette-Jet, not for Saturday Night, but for Sunday Church. 'The Ranger' will be used for our West Texas transportation. We're all cleaned up and ready to go - and we did. The Cork & Pig is always busy, especially on a Saturday Night and when we arrived there were a good number of customers here but they do have plenty of tables available. Chose a booth and were shown to one. Our Server is Alec and took our drink order - Two Jack-N-Cokes while we looked over the menu. She stated she would also bring us some waters with lemon - nice touch. Alec returned with our waters and stated the drinks will be here shortly. That's okay, we understand. When Alec returned with our Jack-N-Cokes, my Wife wanted to tell her something - she said; "You are beautiful and if I was an modeling agent I would want you to be a model." Alec had a big smile on her face and thanked my Wife. We chatted for some time and found out that Alec is new to the Cork & Pig. At this point I knew she earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award because she has already gone 'above-and beyond the norm' - and I will inform her a little later. For now it is time to order. My Wife and I decided to go with their House Salads (description not listed - here is the best I can do: Lettuce, Sprouts, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Corn, Avocado, Croutons - Wife is going with the Balsamic Champagne and I'm having Ranch. We are going to share their "The PIG" Wood Fired Pizza; Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Pancetta, Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. We have had this Pizza a few times before and it's really good and the Best Crust in San Angelo. Now it's time for those Jack-N-Cokes - and the Bartender here makes'em really good. We toasted to 'us' and enjoyed our Favorite Drink. Love You Baby - Cheers. Here comes our Dinner Salads and they do an Excellent Presentation of Deliciousness - they are Absolutely Beautiful. It's Fresh, Crisp with a lot of Tasty - and a lot of bites makes it one of the largest Dinner Salads we have had - and not on a small plate, but a Good Size Oval decorative plate. This Salad has an Awesome taste to it with a just-right very-slight sweetness. Just as we were finishing up our Salads, out came our Pig Pizza and it's Beautifully Glistening with Deliciousness. We both grabbed a slice we wanted and doctored it up with Fresh Romano Cheese and those Hot Grounded Pepper Flakes. My first bite told me I added waaaaaaay tooooooo much Pepper Flakes - that stuff is HOTTT. I shook some off and it tasted more like I wanted it to taste - Pigglyliciousness. This Pig Pizza is very popular here and with us. Lots of flavor anywhere you bite - and the Crust is the Best Pizza Crust around - nice-n-flaky with a slight Crispy Crunch. This Dinner Salad with the Pig Pizza is the Just-Right-Dinner for two - with some leftover Pizza to take home. When Alec returned I gave her the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and told her what it was for. She loved it and thanked us. She is a delight to talk to and is very informed about what Cork & Pig offers - and she's new. A Big Plus for Cork & Pig - and a Big Plus for all the Customers she encounters. Hopefully we will have her again. This is one of the places that when in San Angelo, Texas, it is the place to stop in at and enjoy some Delicious Food, Tops in Service and some mighty fine drinks. The are on Facebook - Cork & Pig Tavern --- and On-Line. My Lovely Wife and I enjoyed another Beautiful Early San Angelo Texas evening on the way home in 'The Ranger' - it's a West Texas thing. The skies are“
“Went during the week for lunch. It was not super busy. The place is very clean and cozy. There were a lot of great options on the menu and our server had good recommendations. The food was warm and delicious. The flavor is amazing! I highly recommend visiting this place when in the area.“
“came to the grill recently & the food was amazing. i got the nachos during happy hour & the portion for the price is unbeatable. Tayler was our bartender & she is the best. i always go to see her cause he anticipates our needs & is very personable.“
“Gourmet burgers with most every meat and toppings you can imagine! Buffalo burgers-yum. Build your own or choose from a dozen combos. French fries-enough to split. Milk Shakes-a local favorite.Plenty of room for large parties.Especially popular with the Military base crowd.Great place for burgers and a beer, especially if you want to have actual conversations.Enormous covered patio overlooking the scenic Concho River.“
“I moved to Christoval, Tx from Plano, Tx. I lost access to a diversified selection of Plano resturants. However, in San Angelo, I believe that Miss Hatties provides a unique resturant experience. It's been one of my favorites, for a drink, lunch or dinner. Recently, my daughter graduated from ASU with a BS in nursing. Her grandparents and uncle and aunt selected Miss Hatties as the place for celebrating her graduation. It was a large group, but Miss Hatties was able to accomadate us. The waitress did an outstanding job of serving us, and paying attention to our needs.Miss Hatties provides a quite atmosphere for conducting dinner conversations without having to shout and the decor provides a historical look of past history. The bar room has a diversified selection of wine and liquor for the discriminating palatte. The 21 day aged steak cooked over mesquite wood is one of my favorites of the dinner menu.Let's not forget the live entertainment, saxophone player, that is provided on the weekends. He's a favorite of mine.Miss Hatties provides good food and drinks, fast seating, with courteous and friendly service and that's why I keep going back.Sol M Del-Gado“
“this is Way out of date but i stayed at the place 50 yrs ago for 5 months- motel was marginal at best, But there was no better food in town than at the restaurant! i ate at other "legendary" restraurants but none were better than Dun Bar. oh well, i'm old but everytimei get back that way there's only one place that i eat & its Dun Bar.Food & drinks: regardless the time of day the food was Excellent“
“The food was hot and delicious! Dunbar Restaurant has the BEST hamburger in San Angelo. The hamburger is cooked the way you want. We had garlic added to the meat. The onion rings were perfect. I would recommend eating at Dunbar Restaurant! Johnnie “
“Went to try out the fish tacos and RONNIE did not let us down ! We had to try the "Mohos" and they were absolutely delicious, the presentation was nice as well. I know a plate is gonna taste hood when it comes out looking good too !“
“Main Street Cafe has always been a great experience for my wife and myself. No rush, spacious setting area, the food is wonderful as well a good value. No issues with staff, always kind and respectful, and the cleanliness from top to bottom is at best 5 star.“
“My husband and I ate lunch at Mr. Ts deli yesterday. I haven’t eaten there in years but the food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great. We didn’t know it but my husbands wallet fell under our table during lunch. Hours later when we realized (and AFTER Mr Ts was already closed) the owner was so kind to meet my husband there and let him look for his wallet. It was there and we couldn’t be more grateful! I will be putting Mr. Ts on our regular lunch rotation, as it should be! Thanks again for a great meal!“
“I eat only animal products (Carnivore) and it was really easy to find a delicious and filling breakfast here. I ordered the steak omelet with no veggies, hashbrowns, or toast and added a side of bacon. It came out delicious, the steak flavored with Korean flavors. Very delicious. Welcoming staff. Great experience.“
“My Wife and I went out last night with some Friends for Dinner at "Roots at the Silo", which is a Very Unique styled Restaurant that is located inside an old Silo. They are only open Thursday through Saturday and reservations are requested. This is our first time there and it is surrounded by "The Chicken Farm Art Center" - and they have scheduled Entertainment on Week-ends for Special Events, etc. Reservations were for 6:30 pm and we arrived on time and found the entrance on the first try. The entire area is set-up very cool with a Large Crayon Type Style Fence in the front with parking in back - with another Very Cool designed fence - and lots of unique buildings around. We were set up in a room just the right size for the eight of us, creating a Very Relaxed setting. Our Servers daughter served all of us our waters as we ordered our drinks from Kevin, our Server. Besides Roots at the Silo being in a unique setting, they don't rush you into anything and you can take your time enjoying your drinks, looking over the menu and chatting with the people you are with. And let me tell you, I heard some Very Interesting stories - and I took notes (just kidding - what happens at the Silo, stays at the Silo - lol) Roots at the Silo is kind of a French Restaurant, Bonjour la France, and the others stated that they don't speak French and don't know how to say the names of what they want. My Wife stated that I, her Husband, "took French in High School"... and they all looked at me and said; "Good, someone knows French." Then I replied that I did take French in High School but I thought it was a 'Kissing Class' - - - but I did pretty well. (i always try to help when i can). Anyway, when it came time to order we all kind of stated what we wanted but mainly pointed to what was on the menu - Kevin understood and orders were placed. My Wife and I are having the "Salade D'Epinards"; (which means Spinach Salad - i looked it up - and it says so right in the description) Spinach Salad with Bacon, Poached Egg, Croutons & Red Wine Vinaigrette. Most of the others also ordered this 'Salade'. For my Wife's Main Course, she ordered the; "Filet de Saumon Au Beurre-Blanc"; (which means what they listed) - Salmon Steak with Lemon Butter Sauce & Green Beans. I am having the "Troncons de Patauger A' la Duglere" (which means 'Sections of Wading at the Duglere / whatever the heck that means - see, i didn't keep it French there) This is why I just did 'okay' in French - except for the kissing part, which the class never got into. Anyway, they list it as; Filet of Flounder with a Tomato & White Eine Sauce - which makes more sense. Most of the others ordered what my Wife did, but three people had the "Filet Diane"; Tenderloin Steak with a Brandy & Mushroom Cream Sauce with 'Dauphinoise Frite - which means Potato Stuff (not going to go into it - but it's good). I am really glad I took French in High School - it has helped me so much ever since. Kevins daughter was very attentive in keeping our water glasses filled and seeing if we needed anything - at this point she earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award - then shied away from having her picture taken. But I did take it before we left - she was kind of hiding behind her Dad. In a short time our Salads (or Salade) were served -- they did look Delicious - and it was. Loved the Poached Egg in the middle of all the Spinach Leaves and Very Tasty Bacon throughout the Salade. When we all finished, Kevin and his Daughter cleared the tables to make room for our Entrees' - and filled our glasses with whatever we had. Then our Main Courses were served and both our plates are a Beautiful Presentation of Deliciousness. My Wife's Salmon is Flaky and has a Very Delightful Taste. The Lemon Butter Sauce is Very Tasty and compliments the Salmon perfectly - absolutely Love that sauce (she gave me a bite). I also had some of her Green Beans“
“Traveling through town and Fleming’s was suggested by a family friend to meet there for breakfast. She picked a gem. It’s located inside the local bowling alley and is well appointed as a diner. The ladies serving were friendly and attentive, coffee cups were kept flowing. I had the meat and cheese omelette with bacon. It came with hashbrowns and I chose a biscuit. I also asked for tomatoes to be added. Delicious and filling, loved the hashbrowns. Husband had the biscuits and gravy, he chose bacon as his side. He said it was well seasoned, gravy was a good texture, he said it was a 10. They even had chocolate milk, which made him happy. Highly recommend for breakfast.“
“Went is and it was a bit busy. But we got seated quickly. Was greeted with a smile from our waitress Amanda. She was kind and on it!! Kept our drinks full was very knowledgeable about the menu. Brought out the food and noticed mine was wrong. I'm not sure how she remembered what I ordered because she took them without writing them down. But before she put my plate down she said this is wrong let me take it back. I was impressed! She apologized and just made our visit more pleasant. Someone give this girl a raise. She went above and beyond and handled everything with grace when it was ridiculously busy. ?? Will come again just to be in her section cause she took care of us!☺️“
“When you’re hungry the place can be really good—-sometimes? We hadn’t eaten there in a good while and mostly I was shocked at their increased meal price. We are seniors and on a weekday a senior meal is 15.00 and if you care to have a glass of tea, then the tea will add 3 more bucks to your “
“Our waitress was Nyla. Nyla was very punctual and friendly. She is very upbeat and a very pleasant person. She made sure our drinks were always full and checked on us frequently. The atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.“
