Without a doubt, this best hamburger I have ever had! Seriously. The only complaint I have is that I only found this place on my last day in San Antonio. The place is tiny and old and has a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. But the young woman at the counter was very nice, my food came quickly (it was about 2:30 PM), and best of all, the guy at the grill was a freaking genus! So worth the wait. We got an old fashioned cheese burger and the ham and cheese sandwich. We started to walk out but they convinced us to try it. So glad they did. We will go again.

I had the opportunity to check out Candy’s Burgers while serving Jury Duty at the courthouse, and boy was lunch on point! Right across the street, easy little stroll to get there and the service was excellent and fast. Even though the spot is small and the number of people visiting on their lunch hour, they crank out their food fast. Everything was hot and fresh, tarter tots were crispy, burger was delicious! Would highly recommend checking out if you’re in the area!
