Dripped by to pick up some as I had some Pork Tamales at my friend's Christmas party. What I liked about them were that they weren't heavy on the Masa which I end up not eating. My friend said that's what she liked about them. They were just fine for me and I had just dabbed on some salsa, queso & guac just to try the combination. sure, Delicious Tamales is a chain. Yes, they're small. But at $10.50 for a dozen, the flavor packs a punch. We bought a few frozen dozen for our friends in Dallas. We bought jalapeño pork, chicken, and atomic (dun dun dun). We were visiting and didn't feel like driving 20 miles out, so this satisfied our tamale craving. No need to call ahead- the hot tamales are in a warmer and frozen are out back in the freezer!

My old tamale place shut down, so I went to Delicious Tamales this year for my Holiday tamales. They were good, but I feel like they were pretty small. The corn husks are the normal size, and then at least the pork & jalapeno and bean & cheese tamales were only like half the size of the corn husk. Maybe this is normal?
