This place is clean, they do awesome on their health inspections. The food is very good still but the pricing has gone through the roof which is why I can only give it 4 stars. The interior has gone down and isn't as inviting as it once was. However, you still can't go wrong if you get your tamales from here.
I had placed an online order for pick-up and the online ordering process was very smooth. I also inadvertently lost track of the days and went to pick them up 1 day early. They didn't give a fuss and never mentioned it, they actually filled the order since they had everything prepared already. I realized it later in the day and am so glad that I didn't have to feel so stupid in public. The Tamales are delicious too.

Tamales are more masa that meat. It's not even close to equal portions. The dozens are small. When getting take out careful that they don't forget something. The tamales are still good they're just not what they used to be and honestly HEB's are actually way better.
