4/11/2024, I am not impressed by the fu fu food. I got three meatballs, with some fancy Italian name; for $15, plus tax, and tip. They tasted ok, but nothing to write ✍️ home about. This was the only item on the menu that even remotely appealed to me.The restaurant itself was very nice, the waiter was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We ate in the outside portion of the restaurant next to the parking lot. Two stars ? ?

These are the best pizzas in San Antonio. The flavor and freshness is exactly like Italy. It's exceptional food. Where Dough falls slightly short is their staff are hit and miss. Sometimes superb. Sometimes snobby. By the latter I mean they have a superior attitude which is off putting. Given we're all equal no staff should act superior or condescending. When the staff are good this is a great experience. I've taken friends from out of town multiple times. It's a higher end pizza joint with some terrific options. Staffing is such a challenge these days but it's paramount to the reputation of a business. Whilst Fought tends to serve a more affluent clientele they ought to train staff not to act superior because they're just wait staff and having an attitude is off putting. They said; the food is terrific and if you get lucky the staff can be friendly. It's not my favorite restaurant in SA but it definitely has the best pizza. You'll pay more for it and because it's so fresh it won't keep. But you'll get a great meal and it's ideal for a special occasion also. They have vegetarian options and a good wine list. The truffle salad is sensational. I've never eaten a better pizza in SA.
Although a bit pricey, the quality of the food is amazing which makes it worth it. Service was a tiny bit slow, but overall a great experience.

We got the seasonal pizza and the ricotta alto. Each dish was very filling even when split. The pizza was the piselli e asparagi, it was a lot of veggies on a blanco pizza. Not having the tomato sauce made the veggies pop and as long as you like these (sweet peas, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes) you are in good shape. The ricotta al forno, was just cheese bread, but it sure was tasty. This place is very tasty but you do pay for it.

We have been coming here since before the remodel of the bar area. We had a 30-minute conversation with the bartender about extraction and grinding sizes of coffee beans for the espresso shots. The food is always exceptional every time we go. If you're in San Antonio or just visiting, it's a must go.

I talked to a guy who might be a manager. He has really a bad attitude. He shurgged me off when I asked him to issue a receit again since I failed to take it. Yes, it's my fault, but he's like "no trouble, please."Their dishes are good, other staff are kind, only one guy made me hate the restaurant. I hope this comment will be read by the manager.

My Pizza I ordered was on my table in seconds. There is no way a pizza can be ready in seconds. It was cold and and had little to no taste. I'm so disappointed. I have been wanting to try Dough and I must say, I won't be back, nor will I recommend this place. The only good thing was the service and the one glass of wine I had. ?

Although I've been meaning to visit DOUGH for some time now, this is the first chance I've had and I went in for lunch. Now I will warn you, pricing is a little high, but then of course you're getting pizza exactly the way it's supposed to be made! So if you've been to Italy and eaten the pizza there, this pizza will taste very familiar because it's all top flite ingredients including the dough and the way the oven Cooks as it should, exactly the way the ones in Italy cook, because it's a brick Oven. You won't be disappointed. All pizzas are 12 inches there's no personal size there's no large family size it's one size pizza and the ingredients all very authentic.
Best Pizza in San Antonio and maybe Texas. They managed to somehow bake very light and flavorful dough without the humidity destroying the pizza. It's Great Italian pizza!!

I’m not a real fan of pizza. Think Pizza Hut. but we ate at Dough recently, and I am totally in love with this place. The food was outstanding! Everything we tried was amazing. Our waiter. Dave was amazing! We trusted him to suggest everything from start to finish, and he did not disappoint. There was barely anything left to take home because we ate it all. Don’t forget to try the burrata.
Love the burrata cheese here !!!! It's awesome!!! The pizzas are amazing and everything is super fresh and made in the moment.

Sat at the bar: bartender did not greet us, offer menus. We had to flag Griffin (bartender) down and still barely any attentivness. One other couple at the bar and myself +1. Being that I have been here over 5x, this visit was very disappointing for the amount of money I spent. Pizza was cold, soggy and small portion of toppings (that I paid extra for)
